is exceeded, the security system will delete transmitters from memory in chronological order.
Step 1
Disarm the system by
pressing the ARM /
DISARM button on the
dealer transmitter or
following the “Manual
Override” procedure
below.
Note: If the dealer
transmitter is not
available, follow the
override procedure
below to disarm the
unit and start the vehicle. Turn "Off" the ignition key and proceed
to Step 2.
Step 2
6X
Within 5 seconds of completing Step 1, turn
the ignition switch “On” then “Off” 6 times and
remain in the “Off” position. Wait about 3 seconds and the beeper will sound 3 times.
Note: Some vehicles will require the ignition
key to be turned all the way to the "Start"
position and then off 6 times (Even if it
bumps the starter or starts the engine). If the
normal procedure of step #2 does not make
the unit beep 3 times and enter program
mode, repeat the procedure by turning the
ignition key all the way to the "Start" position
and then off 6 times.
Step 3
Within 10 seconds of
completing Step 2,
press and hold the
DISARM button on
the consumer transmitter until the beeper
sounds one time then
release the button.
If you have additional
transmitters (up to 4),
repeat this step for
each transmitter.
Step 4
To exit the transmitter
coding mode turn
“On” the ignition key or
leave it idle for 10 seconds. The beeper will
sound 4 times.
