Inside you will find many helpful hints on how to use and
maintain your hand mixer properly. Just a little preventive care on
your part can save you a great deal of time and money over the
life of your hand mixer.

IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS

To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock and/or injury to persons,
basic safety precautions should always be followed when using
electrical appliances, including the following:

1. READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USING THE HAND MIXER.

2. To protect against electrical shock, do not submerge the mixer
or allow AC cord to come in contact with water or other liquids.

3. This appliance should not be used by children, and care should
be taken when used near children.

4. To disconnect, slide speed control to “OFF” or “O” position
and unplug cord. Unplug from the outlet when not in use,
before putting on or taking off parts, and before cleaning.

5. Avoid contacting moving parts.

6. Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug,
or after the appliance malfunctions, or has been dropped
or damaged in any manner. Return appliance to the nearest
authorized service facility for examination, repair or electrical
or mechanical adjustment.

7. The use of attachments not recommended or sold by the
appliance manufacturer may cause fire, electric shock or injury.

8. Do not use outdoors.

9. Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter.

10. Do not let cord contact hot surfaces, including the stove.

11. Do not place hand mixer on or near a hot gas or electric burner.

12. Keep hands, hair, clothing as well as spatulas and other utensils
away from beaters and out of container while mixing to reduce
the risk of severe injury to persons or damage to the unit. A
scraper may be used, but must be used ONLY when the unit is
not running and unplugged.

13. Remove beaters from mixer before washing.

14. Do not use hand mixer for other than intended use.

15. CAUTION: Do not operate continuously for more than 5 minutes.

INSTRUCTIONS

This appliance is for HOUSEHOLD USE ONLY. No user-serviceable
parts inside. Power unit never needs lubrication. Do not attempt
to service this product.

A short power supply cord is provided to reduce the risk resulting
from becoming entangled in or tripping over a longer cord.
An extension cord may be used if care is exercised in its use. If
an extension cord is used, the marked electrical rating of the
extension cord should be at least as great as the electrical rating
of the hand mixer.

The cord should be arranged so that it will not drape over the
countertop or tabletop where it can be pulled on by children or
tripped over unintentionally. Do not immerse in water or other
liquids. No liability can be accepted for any damage cause by non­compliance with these instructions or any other improper use or
mishandling.

POLARIZED PLUG

This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider
than the other). To reduce the risk of electric shock,
this plug is intended to fit into a polarized outlet only

one way. If the plug does not fit fully into the outlet,
reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Do
not attempt to modify the plug in any way. If the plug fits loosely into
the AC outlet or if the AC outlet feels warm, do not use that outlet.

IMPORTANT: CLEAN BEFORE USING THE FIRST TIME!

See the CARE AND CLEANING section for more information.
ATTACHING BEATERS: Be sure appliance is switched OFF and

unplugged. Align notches on beaters with slots on the bottom of the
hand mixer, and push until they lock in place.

Make sure unit is switched to the off position. Insert plug into any
standard household outlet. Place beaters directly into container
holding ingredients to be mixed. Set the speed control lever to
the 1 (Low) position to start mixing, then increase to 2 (Low-

Medium), 3 (Medium), 4 (Medium-High) or 5 (High).
REMOVING BEATERS: Slide speed control to “OFF” or “O” position.

Unplug appliance. Push down on the eject button to eject beaters.
This hand mixer is capable of blending several ingredients. Simply

place beaters in container holding ingredients, and switch on. Use
the mixer to make cakes, pies, whipped topping, mashed potatoes
and much more. The 5 speeds allow you to mix a variety of foods.

CARE AND CLEANING

CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS

TO CLEAN: NEVER IMMERSE MOTOR HOUSING IN WATER. First,
be sure unit is switched OFF and unplugged. Eject beaters from the
unit and wash normally. Wipe motor housing with a damp cloth or
sponge.

NOTE: Beaters are also dishwasher safe.

• TO STORE: Unplug unit; store in its box in a clean, dry place.
Never store while it is hot or plugged in. Never wrap cord tightly
around the appliance. Do not put any stress on the cord where it
enters the unit, as it could cause the cord to fray or break.

replace this product or any component of the product found to be defective during the warranty period. Replacement will
be made with a new or remanufactured product or component. If the product is no longer available, replacement may be
made with a similar product of equal or greater value. This is your exclusive warranty. Do NOT attempt to repair or adjust
any electrical or mechanical functions on this product. Doing so will void this warranty.

This warranty is valid for the original retail purchaser from the date of initial retail purchase and is not transferable. Keep
the original sales receipt. Proof of purchase is required to obtain warranty performance. JCS dealers, service centers, or
retail stores selling JCS products do not have the right to alter, modify or any way change the terms and conditions of
this warranty.

This warranty does not cover normal wear of parts or damage resulting from any of the following: negligent use or
misuse of the product, use on improper voltage or current, use contrary to the operating instructions, disassembly, repair
or alteration by anyone other than JCS or an authorized JCS service center. Further, the warranty does not cover: Acts of
God, such as fire, flood, hurricanes and tornadoes.

What are the limits on JCS’s Liability?
JCS shall not be liable for any incidental or consequential damages caused by the breach of any express, implied or
statutory warranty or condition.

Except to the extent prohibited by applicable law, any implied warranty or condition of merchantability or fitness for a
particular purpose is limited in duration to the duration of the above warranty.

JCS disclaims all other warranties, conditions or representations, express, implied, statutory or otherwise. JCS
shall not be liable for any damages of any kind resulting from the purchase, use or misuse of, or inability to use the
product including incidental, special, consequential or similar damages or loss of profits, or for any breach of contract,
fundamental or otherwise, or for any claim brought against purchaser by any other party.

Some provinces, states or jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages or
limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitations or exclusion may not apply to you.

En el encontrará muchos consejos útiles sobre el uso y
mantenimiento correctos de su batidora de mano. EL cuidado
preventivo pueden ahorrarle mucho tiempo y dinero durante la
vida útil de su batidora de mano.

IMPORTANTES

Para disminuir el riesgo de un incendio, descarga eléctrica y/o
lesión a las personas, se deben seguir las precauciones básicas
de seguridad al utilizarse equipos eléctricos, incluyendo las

BATIDORA DE MANO.

2. Para protegerse contra choque eléctrico, no sumerja la

batidora ni permita que el cable CA entre en contacto con
agua u otros líquidos.

3. Este aparato no debe ser utilizado por niños y se deberá

prestar atención al ser utilizado cerca de ellos.

4. Para desconectar, deslice el control de velocidad a la

posición “OFF” u “O” y desconecte el cable. Desenchufe
del tomacorriente cuando no esté en uso, antes de armar o
desarmar sus partes y antes de limpiar.

5. Evite el contacto con las partes móviles.

6. No opere ningún aparato con un cable o enchufe dañados, o luego

de que el aparato presente un mal funcionamiento, sufra una caída
o se dañe de cualquier manera. Devuelva el aparato al centro de
servicio autorizado más cercano para que sea examinado, reparado

El cable debe estar arreglado de forma tal que no cuelgue del
borde de la mesa o tablero de cocina donde pueda ser jalado por
niños o pueda causar tropiezos accidentalmente. No sumerja la
base en agua u otros líquidos. No se aceptará responsabilidad
legal por cualquier lesión que sea el resultado de no acatarse a
estas instrucciones o cualquier otro uso inadecuado o mal manejo
del aparato.

ENCHUFE POLARIZADO

Este aparato tiene un enchufe polarizado (una pata
es más ancha que la otra). Para reducir el riesgo de
descarga eléctrica, este enchufe está diseñado para

ajustarse sólo de una forma en un tomacorriente
polarizado. Si el enchufe no se ajusta completamente en el
tomacorriente, dé vuelta al enchufe. Si todavía no se ajusta, contacte a
un electricista calificado. No intente modificar el enchufe de ninguna
manera. Si el enchufe está flojo en el tomacorriente de CA, o si el
tomacorriente se siente caliente, no utilice ese tomacorriente.

COMO COLOCAR LAS PALETAS BATIDORAS: Asegúrese de que

el aparato está en posición OFF (apagado) y desconectado. Alinee
las guías en las paletas con las ranuras en la parte inferior de la
batidora de mano, y empuje hasta que se aseguren en su lugar.

Asegúrese de que la unidad está en posición OFF (apagado).
Inserte el enchufe en cualquier tomacorriente doméstico
estándar. Coloque las paletas directamente en el recipiente que
contenga los ingredientes a batir. Coloque el nivel de control de
velocidad en la posición 1 (bajo) para empezar a mezclar, luego
aumente a 2 (bajo - medio), 3 (medio), 4 (medio - alto) o 5 (alto).

las paletas.

Esta batidora manual puede batir varios ingredientes, a la vez.
Simplemente coloque las paletas batidoras en el recipiente que
contiene los ingredientes y encienda. Use la batidora para hacer
tortas, tartas, crema batida, puré de papas y mucho más. Las 5
velocidades le permitirán batir una gran variedad de alimentos.

PARA LIMPIAR: NUNCA SUMERJA LA CARCASA DEL MOTOR
EN AGUA. Primero, asegúrese de que la unidad está en posición

“‘OFF”. Libere las paletas batidoras de la unidad y lave las
normalmente. Pase un paño o una esponja húmeda a la carcasa.

NOTA: Las paletas también pueden lavarse en la lavadora de platos.

• PARA GUARDAR: Desenchufe la unidad; guarde en su caja en

modificar ni cambiar de ningún otro modo los términos y las condiciones de esta garantía.
Esta garantía no cubre el desgaste normal de las piezas ni los daños que se produzcan como resultado de uso negligente
o mal uso del producto, uso de voltaje incorrecto o corriente inapropiada, uso contrario a las instrucciones operativas, y
desarme, reparación o alteración por parte de un tercero ajeno a JCS o a un Centro de Servicio autorizado por JCS. Asimismo,
la garantía no cubre actos fortuitos tales como incendios, inundaciones, huracanes y tornados.

¿Cuál es el límite de responsabilidad de JCS?

JCS no será responsable de daños incidentales o emergentes causados por el incumplimiento de alguna garantía o
