IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
This manual contains Safety Instructions as well as Installation and Operating Instructions. Please carefully read
this manual before using your electric kettle for instructions on how to use and maintain the product properly. Be
sure to follow the safety instructions to avoid injury or damage to the product.
Keep this manual. When passing on/selling the device to a third party, the manual must be handed over along
with the device.
Before calling for service, please make sure unit is installed and being used correctly.
WARNING: When using your appliance, follow the precautions listed below.
NOTE: Specifications may change at any time without notice.
1. Read all instructions.
2. This appliance is for household use only. It is not intended for commercial applications.
3. The appliance is intended for indoor use only. DO NOT use outdoors.
4. DO NOT place on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or in a heated oven.
5. To reduce the risk of electric shock, this appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other).
If the plug does not fit properly into the outlet, reverse it. If it still does not fit, try a different outlet or
contact a qualified electrician. DO NOT attempt to modify the plug in any way.
6. The appliance must be plugged into a properly installed and grounded outlet that meets the voltage
requirements listed on the ratings label.
7. DO NOT immerse the Kettle, Base, or power cord into water or any other liquids.
8. DO NOT operate the kettle with damaged cord or plug, or if the unit is damaged or malfunctions in any
way. Contact customer service or a service technician.
9. ALWAYS turn off and unplug from outlet before servicing, changing accessories, cleaning the unit, or when
not in use. Allow unit to cool down completely before cleaning, moving or servicing.
10. DO NOT unplug your appliance by pulling on the power cord. ALWAYS grasp the plug firmly and pull it
straight out from the outlet.
11. Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.
12. DO NOT allow children to operate or play with the appliance.
13. This appliance should not be operated by anyone with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or
does not have experience with this type of equipment, unless under supervision.
14. DO NOT attempt to remove any parts of the housing or insert any metal objects into the interior of the
appliance.
15. DO NOT let the cord hang over edge of table or counter. ALWAYS keep cord away from hot or sharp
surfaces or items.
16. DO NOT operate the unit or handle the plug with wet hands.
17. Use only clean water in the kettle.
18. Some parts of the appliance get very hot when in operation. DO NOT touch hot surfaces. Use caution when
unit is in use, and ALWAYS grasp by the handle.
19. CAUTION: There is the risk of being scalded by hot water or escaping steam.
20. This appliance is designed for heating water only. DO NOT put any other liquid into the kettle.

21. The appliance must be positioned so that the plug is accessible.
22. CAUTION: If the kettle is overfilled, boiling water may spray out.
23. WARNING: DO NOT open the lid while the water is boiling.
24. The kettle should only to be used with the stand provided.
25. Avoid spilling water on the base or connection point on the bottom of the Kettle.
26. CAUTION: Ensure that the kettle is switched off before removing it from its stand.
27. The use of accessories not recommended by the manufacturer may result in fire, electric shock, or injuries.
28. A short power-supply cord (or detachable power-supply cord) should be used to reduce the risks resulting
from becoming entangled in or tripping over a longer cord. Extension cords may be used if care is exercised
in their use and:
a. The marked electrical rating of the extension cord should be at least as great as the electrical rating
of the appliance.
b. The longer cord should be arranged so that it will not drape over the countertop or table top where it
can be pulled on by children or tripped over.
