Please carefully read this manual before using your deep fryer for instructions on how to use and maintain the product properly. Be sure to follow the safety instructions to avoid injury or damage to the product.
Keep this manual. When passing on/selling the device to a third party, the manual must be handed over along with the device.
Before calling for service, please make sure unit is installed and being used correctly, and read the troubleshooting section.
WARNING: When using your appliance, follow the precautions listed below: NOTE: Specifications may change at any time without notice.
1. Read all instructions.
2. This appliance is for household use only. It is not intended for outdoor or commercial applications. DO NOT use appliance for other than intended use.
3. Before using, check that the voltage of wall outlet corresponds to the rating plate.
4. To reduce the risk of electric shock, this appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). This plug is intended to fit into a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit fully into the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, try a different outlet or contact a qualified electrician. DO NOT attempt to modify the plug in any way.
5. DO NOT turn the deep fryer on unless it is full of oil. ALWAYS ensure that it is filled with oil between the minimum and maximum level marks on the inside of the Bowl.
6. WARNING: Avoid using the appliance for long periods, as this can result in the oil overheating, causing a fire.
7. CAUTION: DO NOT add water to the oil. This is extremely dangerous and may cause the oil to splatter out of the bowl.
8. CAUTION: DO NOT touch the hot oil.
9. DO NOT leave the appliance unattended while it is in use.
10. Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.
11. Some Parts of the appliance get very hot when in operation. DO NOT touch hot surfaces. Use caution when unit is in use, and ALWAYS use handles or knobs.
12. ALWAYS set the temperature control to the lowest possible temperature, and unplug the fryer as soon as you have finished cooking the food.
13. ALWAYS turn off and unplug from the outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow unit to cool down before putting on or taking off parts, and before cleaning the appliance.
14. To protect against electrical shock do not immerse cord, plugs, or the whole unit in water or other liquid.
15. DO NOT operate the unit or handle the plug with wet hands.
16. Only use the appliance in a dry and well ventilated room.
17. This appliance should not be operated by anyone with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or does not have experience with this type of equipment, unless under supervision.
18. This appliance is not intended to be operated by means of an external timer or separate remote-control system.
4
19. ALWAYS place unit on a level, stable, heat resistant surface. DO NOT use on carpet, vinyl, cloth, etc. and DO NOT move during operation.
20. DO NOT use near or below curtains or other combustible materials.
21. DO NOT cover the appliance.
22. DO NOT let the cord hang over edge of table or counter or touch hot surfaces.
23. DO NOT place on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or in a heated oven.
24. DO NOT operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug; or after the appliance malfunctions or is damaged in any manner. Contact customer service for assistance.
25. DO NOT modify or repair the unit by yourself.
26. A short power-supply cord (or detachable power-supply cord) should be used to reduce the risks resulting from becoming entangled in or tripping over a longer cord. Extension cords may be used if care is exercised in their use and:
a. The marked electrical rating of the extension cord should be at least as great as the electrical rating
of the appliance.
b. The longer cord should be arranged so that it will not drape over the countertop or table top where it
can be pulled on by children or tripped over.
27. DO NOT unplug your appliance by pulling on the power cord. ALWAYS grasp the plug firmly and pull it straight out from the outlet.
28. DO NOT roll the cord up or wind it around the appliance.
29. CAUTION: If a fire starts in the fryer, DO NOT try to put it out with water. Close the lid and try to smother the flames with a damp cloth or wet towel.
30. The use of accessories not recommended by the appliance manufacturer may cause injuries.
31. DO NOT use outdoors.
32. Extreme caution must be used when moving an appliance containing hot oil or other hot liquids.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
DEEP FRYING
1. ALWAYS make sure the deep fryer is turned off when starting.
2. Pour the oil into the bowl so that the fill level falls between the “Min” and Max” marks.
NOTE: It is recommended to use liquid oil. Lard or solid fats can be used, but must be melted prior
to using by placing small pieces of it into the bowl and warming it on the lowest setting. Once it is fully melted, you can set the control to the required cooking temperature.
3. Place the lid on the bowl.
4. Attach the magnetic cord and plug the fryer in; the red power indicator will light.
5. Set the desired temperature by turning the temperature control knob. The green heat indicator will light and remain lit while the fryer is heating up. Once the unit reaches the set temperature, the green heat indicator light will turn off.
NOTE: The heat indicator will turn on and off while the fryer is in use, as needed to maintain the
selected temperature.
6. DO NOT add food until the required temperature is reached.
7. Remove the lid and carefully lower the basket with the food into the bowl. Make sure the oil level does not rise to the top of the bowl.
NOTE: ALWAYS hold the basket handle firmly when fitting or removing the lid. CAUTION: When putting food into or removing it from the fryer, hot oil may splatter. Take care when
removing the lid, as hot steam may be released.
There is a non-auto resetting thermostat built in the product. If the deep fryer has been in use for a prolonged time, the built-in thermostat will activate and cut off the current to protect the appliance from overheating. Reset the thermostat by pushing the indicated button on the back of the control panel, after the heating element has cooled down, to enable the deep fryer to function normally again.
AFTER COOKING
1. Carefully lift the basket out of the oil and use the clips to hang it on the front edge of the bowl.
CAUTION: Handle may be hot after extended use.
2. Allow the oil to drip from the food before removing from the basket.
3. Set the temperature control knob to the lowest setting and unplug from the outlet.
4. Allow the fryer to cool for at least 1-2 hours before emptying the oil, moving, or cleaning.
CAUTION: DO NOT attempt to move the deep fryer while it is hot.
FOOD PREPARATION TIPS
• ALWAYS make sure that the food is dry before lowering it into the hot oil.
• Ensure that the food is roughly the same size so that it cooks evenly. Avoid very thick pieces.
• Some types of food should be breaded before being cooked in the deep fat fryer.
• Make sure you remove as much ice as possible from frozen food. However, it does not need to be defrosted
before cooking.
• DO NOT fill the basket above the max mark on the metal plate under the handle.
