WARNING: Read and understand all safety precautions. Failure to follow all instructions described in this user guide may result in electric shock, fire or serious personal injury. The warnings, cautions and instructions discussed in this user guide cannot cover all possible conditions and situations that may occur. It must be understood by the user that common sense and caution are attributes which cannot be built into the appliance, but must be supplied by the user.
Electric Power
If an electric circuit is overloaded with other appliances, the appliance may not operate properly. The appliance should be operated on a separate electrical circuit from other operating appliances.
Polarized Plug
WARNING: This appliance is equipped with a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other blade) to reduce the risk of electric shock. This plug is a safety feature that is designed to fit into a polarized outlet only one way. If you are unable to insert the plug into the electrical outlet, try reversing the plug. If the plug still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Do not alter or dismantle the plug. Do not attempt to defeat this safety feature of the polarized plug. Handling the power supply cord on this product may expose you to lead, a chemical known to the State of California to cause cancer, birth defects or other reproductive harm. Wash hands after handling.
CAUTION: A short power supply cord is provided to reduce the risk of becoming entangled in or tripping over a longer cord. An extension cord is not recommended for use with this product, but if necessary, the marked electrical rating must be at least as great as that of the product. If the product is of a 3-prong grounding type, the extension cord must be a grounding-type 3-wire cord. Arrange the extension cord so that it will not drape over the countertop or tabletop where it can be tripped over or pulled.

• Do not immerse the cord, plug, or any portion of the base unit in water or any other liquid.
• Do not use the appliance on an unstable surface.

Important Safety Instructions
WARNING: To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, or serious personal injury, please read and save all instructions before using the electric mini food chopper.
When using this or any other electrical appliance, basic safety precautions should be observed, including the following:
1. READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USE.
2. Before using the appliance for the first time, check if the voltage of the appliance corresponds to the voltage in your home.
3. Always assemble the appliance completely before plugging the unit into an electrical outlet. Do not turn the power on unless this appliance is properly assembled.
4. Always ensure the appliance is unplugged from the electrical outlet, has cooled down completely, and all parts have stopped before assembling, disassembling, relocating or cleaning the unit.
5. Never place the chopping blades onto the base of the unit without first properly secur­ing the bowl to the base.
6. Always ensure the cover is securely locked in place before operating the product. Never try to remove or force the cover open while the appliance is operating.
7. Do not attempt to defeat the interlocking mechanism of the cover.
8. Do not expose or immerse the base, power cord or plug of this appliance in water or any other liquid.
9. Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or in or near a heated oven.
10. Leave approximately 6-8 inches of open space all around the exterior of this appliance, while in use.
11. Ensure that the appliance and its power cord do not come into contact with hot surfaces.
12. Do not leave the appliance unattended while it is in use. Always unplug the appliance from the electrical outlet when not in use.
13. Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used near incapacitated persons, children or pets.
14. Keep the appliance out of the reach of children and pets. This appliance is not intended for use by children or incapacitated persons.
15. The blades are sharp. Handle the blades with care and use caution when attaching or detaching the blades.
16. Avoid contact with moving parts. Keep hair, hands, fingers or any other body part from coming into contact with the moving parts while the appliance is operating.

17. Keep utensils away from the chopping blades while operating the appliance. A scraper or spatula may be used but only when the appliance is not in operation.
18. The use of attachments or accessories not recommended or sold by the manufacturer may result in fire, electric shock or injury.
19. To disconnect the appliance from the electrical outlet, ensure the appliance is off (release pressure on the button and allow components to stop completely) and then pull directly on the plug. Do not pull on the power cord.
20. Do not put any stress on the power cord where it connects to the appliance, as the power cord could fray and break.
21. Do not plug or unplug the appliance into or from the electrical outlet with a wet hand.
22. Do not operate the appliance if it has a damaged or cut power cord or plug, if the wires are exposed, if the unit malfunctions, if the unit is dropped or damaged, or if the motor housing is dropped in or exposed to water.
23. This appliance has no user serviceable parts. Do not attempt to examine or repair this appliance yourself. Only qualified service personnel should perform any servicing.
24. Do not use the appliance if the plastic cover or bowl shows any indications of cracks.
25. Do not use the appliance with a damaged electrical outlet.
26. Return the appliance to an authorized service center for examination, repair or adjustment.
27. Do not use this appliance for purposes other than its intended use.

1. Remove product parts from the packaging and disassemble. To remove the bowl from the base of the unit, turn the bowl counterclockwise.
NOTE: The bowl may be slightly difficult to remove when the product is new. To aid in the removal of the bowl, place the base of the unit onto its side on a soft surface and then firmly turn the bowl counterclockwise to remove.
2. Thoroughly wash the cover (lid), bowl, and the blades in warm, soapy water. Rinse the parts and let them dry.
WARNING: Ensure the product is unplugged from the electrical outlet before assembling the unit. Handle the blades with care as they are extremely sharp. Use caution when attaching, detaching, cleaning or storing the blades.
3. Ensure the product is unplugged from the electrical outlet.
4. Place the base of the unit onto a level and stable surface.

5. Place the bowl over the metal shaft and turn the bowl clockwise until the safety latches of the container bowl lock into the base of the unit. This prevents the bowl from detaching, specifically during operation.

6. Attach the blade assembly by carefully holding onto the opposite end of the blades and insert the blade assembly (blades first) securely over the center column of the bowl.
7. Always attach the cover (lid) after inserting food into the bowl.
NOTE: The cover (lid) must be securely locked into its position before operating the mini food chopper. When properly locked, the arrow inscribed on the handle of the cover (lid) will align with the arrow inscribed on the base of the unit (near the ON/PULSE button).

Operation
WARNING: Always assemble the product completely before plugging the unit into an electrical outlet. Always attach the cover (lid) after inserting food into the bowl. The cover must remain on during operation. Wait until the blades and metal shaft have completely stopped before removing the cover (lid) and the contents.
NOTICE: Do not process raw meat, cheese, coffee beans, or whole squares of chocolate in this product, as this may result in damage to the product.
1. Cut or chop the food into small pieces, as needed.
NOTE: Hard vegetables, such as raw carrots, may require splitting and/or quartering in order to allow smooth operation and movement of the chopping blades.
2. Place the sliced food into the bowl. Do not fill the bowl past the maximum capacity of 1½ cups for solid food and ¾ cups for liquid ingredients. Never overfill the bowl.
3. Attach and gently secure the cover (lid) onto the bowl (reference the “Unit Assembly” section on page 9) by aligning the arrow on the cover with the arrow on the base of the unit. Always secure the cover (lid) into place before operating the unit.
4. Plug the product into a standard 120V AC electrical outlet.
5. Press the ON/PULSE button to begin processing the food inside the bowl. Do not operate the product continuously for more than 30 seconds at a time.
6. To stop processing, release the ON/PULSE button.
7. Wait until the chopping blades and the metal shaft have stopped completely before removing the cover (lid) and the contents inside the bowl.
8. Always unplug the product from the electrical outlet when it is not in use or is left unattended.
9. Turn the bowl counterclockwise to release the tabs on the edges of the bowl from the tabs on the base of the unit.
10. Remove the blade assembly before lifting the bowl and pouring out its contents.
WARNING: Overfilling the bowl could cause spillage, resulting in serious burns and/or property and product damage.

Tips
• For liquid ingredients, place a maximum volume of ¾ cup when filling the bowl.
• For better processing control, briefly press the ON/PULSE button and then release.
• To make bread crumbs, break the bread into pieces before placing them into the bowl.

• To use cracker or cookie crumbs as recipe ingredients or in pie crusts, break them into pieces before placing them into the bowl.
• To chop vegetables (e.g., carrots, celery, mushrooms, green peppers, and onions), cut the vegetables into about 1” (approx. 2½ cm) chunks before placing them into the bowl. This will allow for more consistent chopping of the vegetables.
• Use the mini chopper to mince parsley, basil, chives or garlic.

Care and Cleaning
WARNING: To avoid the risk of electric shock, always ensure the product is unplugged from the electrical outlet before assembling, disassembling, relocating, servicing or cleaning.
WARNING: Allow the chopping blades to completely stop. Handle the blades with care as they are extremely sharp. Use caution when attaching, detaching, cleaning or storing the blades.
CAUTION: Use caution when attaching or detaching the parts to the mini food chopper. The chopping blades are extremely sharp. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads to clean any part of the product. Store the unit in a cool, dry place.
• Make sure the unit is unplugged before cleaning. Allow parts to completely stop before cleaning the product.
• Always clean the product immediately after each use (after the product has stopped and is unplugged from the electrical outlet).
• To clean the product, carefully remove the cover (lid), blade assembly and bowl.
• Wash the cover (lid), bowl, and the blade assembly in warm, soapy water; rinse and let
the parts dry thoroughly.
• Clean the base of the unit by wiping the exterior with a damp cloth or sponge. Dry the base with a nonabrasive towel. To avoid damaging the product, do not immerse the base into water or any other liquid.
• To avoid damage to the product, do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads to clean the product parts.
• Reassemble the product before placing it into storage (reference the “Unit Assembly” section on page 9).
• Store the product in a cool, dry place.
NOTE: Do not immerse the base of the unit in water or any other liquid. The base contains the electrical components of the appliance. The lifespan of the product depends on how well it is cleaned and maintained after every use. Always follow the care and maintenance instructions. Never use any abrasive cleaning products on the appliance to maintain its original finish.

If the appliance should no longer work, please make sure it is disposed of in an environmentally friendly way.

Warranty

Limited Warranty
MC Appliance Corporation warrants each new Mini Food Chopper to be free from defects in material and workmanship and agrees to remedy any such defect or to furnish a new part(s) (at the company’s option) for any part(s) of the unit that has failed during the warranty period. Parts and labor expenses are covered on this unit for a period of two years after the date of purchase. A copy of the dated sales receipt/invoice is required to receive warranty service, replacement or refund.
This warranty covers appliances in use within the continental United States, Hawaii and Puerto Rico. The warranty does not cover the following:
• Damages due to shipping damage or improper installation
• Damages due to misuse or abuse
• Content losses due to failure of the unit
• Repairs performed by unauthorized service agents
• Service calls that do not involve defects in material and workmanship such as instruction on
proper use of the product or improper installation
• Replacement or resetting of house fuses or circuit breakers
• Failure of this product if used in ways other than its intended purpose
• Disposal costs for any failed unit(s) not returned to our factory
• Any delivery or installation costs incurred as the result of a unit that fails to perform as specified
• Expenses for travel and transportation for product service if your appliance is located in a remote
area where service by an authorized service technician is not available
• The removal and reinstallation of your appliance if it is installed in an inaccessible location or is not installed in accordance with published installation instructions
• Refunds for non-repairable products are limited to the price paid for the unit per the sales receipt
Limitations of Remedies and Exclusions
Product repair in accordance with the terms herein, is your sole and exclusive remedy under this limited warranty. Any and all implied warranties including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose are hereby limited to one year or the shortest period allowed by law. MC Appliance Corporation is not liable for incidental or consequential damages and no representative or person is authorized to assume for us any other liability in connection with the sale of this product. Under no circumstances is the consumer permitted to return this unit to the factory without the prior written consent of MC Appliance Corporation.
Some states prohibit the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, or limitations on implied warranties. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which very from state to state.
