Intended Use of the CT-04+
Candy Tech Smart Go Time

The CT-04+ Candy Tech Smart Go Time can be used for tracking vital
human functions. It helps its users to set and control a personal training

schedule (goals) in order to keep t with regular exercise. The CT-04+
Candy Tech Smart Go Time measures the exercise data of its wearer

such as distance and steps run, calories consumed. Basic data such as
time of day, heart rate, steps and distance run, or calories burned etc. are
displayed in the LC-display of the CT-04+ Candy Tech Smart Go Time.

The device also features a stop watch and can easily be operated using via
a touch screen conveniently using simple nger gestures.

The CT-04+ App is used to process the data collected by the CT-04+ Candy
Tech Smart Go Time. Data can be transferred via Bluetooth® to the App

and displayed on a wireless communication device running iOS or Android
software. Reminders set by the CT-04+ App can also be displayed in the

screen of the CT-04+ Candy Tech Smart Go Time.

This product is not a therapeutic device. It is a training instrument, which
was developed for the measurement and representation of vital human

functions such as the heart rate.

designed for and in accordance with the manner described in these

operating instructions. The manufacturer is not liable for damages that are
caused by improper or incorrect use.

• WARNING: People suffering from heart and circulatory illnesses or

those with pacemakers should only use this heart rate monitor without

consulting their health professional for professional medical advice.

• Please consult your doctor to know details about the values of your upper

and lower heart rate and the duration and frequency of training suitable

for you.

• Please note that the use of the heart rate monitor may become an extra

source of injury with high-risk sports.

• When training with a partner or in groups using the CT-04+ Candy Tech

Smart Go Time avoid short range (ca. 1 m) signal interference can

occur. Minimize the chance for this by wearing the CT-04+ Candy Tech
Smart Go Time on different wrists to increase the transmission distance
between you and the CT-04+ Candy Tech Smart Go Time/es of your
training partner/s.

• Do not place the CT-04+ Candy Tech Smart Go Time into sunlight for

extended periods of time. Do not place the device near a re. Do not use
any sharp objects or tools to open it. Please do not expose the device to
extreme temperatures.

• Please do not leave the device in damp environment or place in liquids
when charging.

• Please do handle the device carefully. Avoid using blunt force on it, or
dismantling, dissembling, pressing, puncturing, baking, burning, etc.

• Please keep the product out of reach of infants as small parts may
present a choking hazard.

• The CT-04+ Candy Tech Smart Go Time contains a built-in lithium

rechargeable battery. Do not remove it, throw it into the re or dismantle
it. There is a risk of explosions.

• Do not attempt to repair the CT-04+ Candy Tech Smart Go Time yourself
under any circumstances. Seek professional advice. Take it to a repair
shop, a professional, or the merchant you bought it from.

• Do not charge the battery under wet conditions.

• Do not dismantle, destroy the outer plastic shell by mechanical means,

or place the CT-04+ Candy Tech Smart Go Time into a microwave oven

to cook or bake it.

• Keep away from excessive heat, or cold. Storage and operating
temperatures are -20 – 55 °C.

1. Plug the micro USB plug of the charging cable

2. Align the ve contact pins of the magnet charge

connector with the contact rail on the underside of
the CT-04+ Candy Tech Smart Go Time as shown
in the picture. The ve male contact pins inside the
USB-peg must t snugly into the female contact

rail of the CT-04+ Candy Tech Smart Go Time.

Your CT-04+ Candy Tech Smart Go Time will not
charge with an improper electrical connection.

Charging the CT-04+ Candy Tech
Smart Go Time

Charge the CT-04+ Candy Tech Smart Go Time for ca. 2 hours before rst

use.

Re-charge the battery before the battery charge drops below 20 %. The
“Battery Low icon” will appear on the screen. A complete charge of the

battery of the device takes about 1.5 hours.

Charge time may depend on the power source used. A standard USB

charger will normally charge with a higher current than a computer USB

port.

3. The rectangular recess in the magnet connector

must be aligned with the raised opposite on the

underside of the CT-04+ Candy Tech Smart Go
Time.

4. Plug the USB A plug of the cable into a suitable

USB power source. You may use your computer, a
powered USB Hub, or a USB charger.

5. The battery icon starts ashing in the touch screen

display.

6. When the battery is fully charged, the bars in the

battery icon will indicate full charge. All bars are

constantly on.

7. If the charging current is interrupted (cables/

connectors disconnected, or charger unplugged),
the CT-04+ Candy Tech Smart Go Time vibrates
and displays the disconnect alert.

Installing the CT-04+ App

You need CT-04+ App to use the full functionality of the CT-04+ Candy Tech
Smart Go Time. You can monitor your physical activity, evaluate your data,

set training goals, set basic data such as time and date, manage alerts and
reminders and change settings of the CT-04+ Candy Tech Smart Go Time.

Compatibility statement

You must use a wireless device with a compatible Bluetooth® version.
Only smart phones listed interoperate with the CT-04+ Candy Tech Smart
Go Time!! Pairing between the devices will not work if the necessary
Bluetooth® protocols are not supported. You need Bluetooth® version 4.0.

Installation process

1. Use the provided QR code to download the CT-04+ App for the CT-04+

Candy Tech Smart Go Time from the Apple and Android stores as

required for your device.

2. Follow the installation instructions to install the software app. Ensure to
enable Bluetooth® and wireless access on your device. You will need a

valid email address and have to create a user account for the CT-04+
App.

3. Finish the installation.

Pairing CT-04+ App and CT-04+
Candy Tech Smart Go Time using
Bluetooth®

You need to pair your mobile CT-04+ App with the CT-04+ Candy Tech
Smart Go Time. Keep both at a short range from each other. Bluetooth®
transmission distance is a few meters (up to 5 m) in the line of sight.

Make sure your Mobile phone has a connection to the internet (wireless

network) and both devices are in Bluetooth® range when connecting and

modifying settings via the CT-04+ App.

CT-04+ App account creation

With the CT-04+ App installed, you need to set up an account to use
with your device.

1. Use the SIGN UP button to create your personal account.

2. Input all required data and conrm.

1. Enable the Bluetooth® function on your mobile

device. Consult the operating instructions of your

device how to do this since this is device-specic.

2. Make sure that the network connection of your

wireless device is available. Tap the touch screen
of the CT-04+ Candy Tech Smart Go Time twice to
switch it on for pairing.

3. Open the CT-04+ App. Open the ‘Settings’ page of

the CT-04+ App, choose the menu item “PAIR” and
follow the instructions on the screens. The CT-04+
App will attempt to pair with the CT-04+ Candy

Tech Smart Go Time via Bluetooth®. To un-pair,
complete the process in reverse choosing the

menu item ‘UNPAIR’.

4. Tap touch screen on the CT-04+ Candy Tech

Smart Go Time a few times while both devices are

trying to pair.

5. Conrm paring. A notication appears if the pairing

was successful. If the pairing fails, a failure notice
appears. The CT-04+ App will also remind you if

the pairing failed.

Pairing is device specic and a one-time process which permanently

connects CT-04+ App on your mobile device to the CT-04+ Candy Tech

Smart Go Time. If you want to pair another CT-04+ Candy Tech Smart Go
Time, un-pair the present one and repeat the pairing process with the other
device. Go to the ‘Settings’ page of the CT-04+ App and touch the ‘UNPAIR’
menu item to un-pair both devices. Follow the instructions on the screen.

Using the CT-04+ App

The CT-04+ App has four menu pages.

1. The ‘Activity’ page displays exercise data such as heart rate, steps and

distance run, or run calories burned and sleep time.

2. The ‘Goals’ page allows you to set personal training goals with regards to

steps, distance, calories and sleep.

3. On the ‘Reminders’ page you may set up to 6 reminders relating to your
tness and exercise schedule – ‘ACTIVITY SLEEP EAT MEDICINE
WAKE UP REMIND’.

4. The ‘Settings’ page provides the starting point for paring and changing

basics settings of the CT-04+ Candy Tech Smart Go Time. Setups such
as time and date etc. must be done via the CT-04+ App.

Setting-up for rst use

The CT-04+ Candy Tech Smart Go Time displays ‘SET UP’ when it has
no basic setting before rst use. Bring it near your paired mobile device.
The CT-04+ Candy Tech Go will automatically synchronize basic time and
date. You can customize display formats under ‘Advanced Settings’ on the
‘Settings’ page of the CT-04+ App. Refer to the section “Pairing CT-04+ App

and CT-04+ Candy Tech Smart Go Time using Bluetooth®” for information

on how to pair both devices.

Time usage and functions

The CT-04+ Candy Tech Smart Go Time requires

the basic setup. Turn on your mobile device, the

CT-04+ App, and/or pair both in order to enable the

auto setting.

Basics

Wear the CT-04+ Candy Tech Smart Go Time on
your wrist. Close the wrist band buckle properly.
Putting a few drops of water on the plastic wrist
band buckle facilitates xing easier.

The CT-04+ Candy Tech Smart Go Time provides basic data such as time

and date; it can display training/exercise data.

Tap on the touch screen with your nger tip twice to

activate the CT-04+ Candy Tech Smart Go Time.

Swipe sideways across the touch screen with your
ngertips to scroll through the displays.

Swipe to left: forward
Swipe to right: backward

The CT-04+ Candy Tech Smart Go Time is

synchronizing data with the APP when the syncing’

symbol is displayed.

Operation modes

• You can wear your CT-04+ Candy Tech Smart Go
Time during sleep to record the following sleep
stages: Light Sleep, Deep Sleep, or AWAKE. It
will monitor your sleep patterns and compile sleep

reports.

• Enter and exit Sleep mode using the CT-04+ App.

• The CT-04+ Candy Tech Smart Go Time exits the
sleep mode automatically if the device detect that
you are already in sport mode.

Display screens

• The time display screen is the default mode. It can
display current time and date depending on the

format. Data will be synchronized with the CT-04+
App. Time and date will be lost when the battery
is empty. It needs to be synchronized with the

CT-04+ App again.

• Swipe the touch screen with your ngers to the
right for this menu.

• Swipe the touch screen with your ngers to the
right to display the recorded distance.

• Swipe the touch screen with your ngers to
the right for this menu to display the amount of
calories.

• Swipe the touch screen with your ngers to the
right for this menu to display the present heart
rate data. Enable the heart rate monitor in the
CT-04+ App.

right for the Stop Watch menu to be displayed.

• Tap and hold the touch screen for 3 seconds or

more to start the stop watch.

Data displayed by our CT-04+ Candy Tech Smart Go Time is daily data.

Data collected by your CT-04+ Candy Tech Smart Go Time can be

synchronized, displayed and records analyzed using “ACTIVI-TY” menu

in the CT-04+ App. The CT-04+ Candy Tech Smart Go Time performs an

automatic reset daily at 0:00 h.

• Tap and hold clock screen for 3 seconds to check
the device information.

Smart Go Time is full, the “FULL” icon will be
displayed. Re-syncing data with the CT-04+ App,
will clear the memory.

target for a day as preset on the CT-04+ App,
the CT-04+ Candy Tech Smart Go Time vibrates

gently and displays “ACHIEVED”.

• You can set various reminders to be shown on
the CT-04+ Candy Tech Smart Go Time’s touch

screen display. Use the mobile app to set Activity,

Sleep, Eat, Medicine, Wake up, and Remind
“Reminder” menu item..

• When a reminder falls due, the CT-04+ Candy
Tech Smart Go Time will vibrate and display the

reminder icon.

• Tap on the touch screen once to dismiss a
reminder.

• A reminder not dismissed will be repeated in the

second time after 2 minutes later if not conrmed

and stopped by the user.

Notications

You can enable various notications of your mobile device to be shown on
the CT-04+ Candy Tech Smart Go Time’s touch screen display.
Use the mobile app to set CALLS, MISSED CALLS, SMS, E-MAIL, SOCIAL
MEDIA, CALENDAR EVENT and ANTI- LOST.

When a notication event occurs, the CT-04+ Candy Tech Smart Go Time
will vibrate and display the notication icon reminder icon.

A notication not dismissed it will be repeated the next time the CT-04+
Candy Tech Smart Go Time’s touch screen display is switched on.

Troubleshooting

CT-04+ App failed to connect with the CT-04+ Candy Tech Smart Go
Time

1. Check if your network connection and Bluetooth settings are turned

on. Both, phone network and Bluetooth, need to be on at the same

time for data synchronization.

2. Check if your CT-04+ Candy Tech Smart Go Time is near your phone.

The maximum transmission distance range is 5 meters.

3. Make sure that the CT-04+ Candy Tech Smart Go Time is not

connected to another account.
