STATE101
STATE DATA LOGGER
State recorders are useful for collecting data on the dura tion of an
event. The State101 can capture any event that lasts l onger than one
second. Some typical applications for sta te recorders include the
monitoring of a furnace, air condit ioner or pump turning on and off,
or even how long a doo r is left open/closed.
The State101 records a time-stamped value whenever a state of the
input signal changes. It sample s the input at a user spe cifie d time
interval and record s to me mory only if the state had changed from
the p revious sample. This effic ient method of writing to memory
maximizes th e length of time the device ca n record.
The State101 can s tore up to 13,107 time sta mped state changes.
The storage medium is non-volatile solid state memory, providing
maximum data secu rity even if the battery becomes discharge d. The
device can be started and stopped directly from your computer and
its small size allows it to fit almost anywhere.
