PROCESS101
CURRENT DATA LOGGER
The Process101 is engineered for a ccura cy a nd flexibili ty unequaled in the 4-20mA loop sensor and con trol industry. It can be inserted almost anywhere because it adds v ery little resista nce to the loop (10 typical ). Since it operates with an inte rnal battery (user replaceable), groun d loop errors can be avo ided.
The Proce ss101 can measure cu rrent s that are slightly nega tive, allowing for other u ses. With 16 bits of resol ution, it is ideal for accurat ely measuring battery currents, solar cel l currents and other current sources. The dev ice can measure and re cord up to 3 2,767 readings in non-volatile memory, retaining valuable data even if th e battery shou ld become discharged.
Additio nally, customized eng ineering units can be defined to map t he measured data to almost any unit ima ginab le. For example, a 4-2 0mA flow meter mi ght exert 4m A curre nt for 0 liters of water and 20mA current for 5 liters of water. Using the Engineering Units in the device, the logger ca n be set up to natively display the data in liters rather than milliamps — a useful feature for presentat ions!
