General indications:

Remove only as many test strips as are required. Close the container immediately after

removing a strip. Do not touch the test fi eld.

Instructions for use:

1. Dip the test strip into the sample (pH 6–9) for 1 s.

2. Shake off excess liquid.

3. Wait 20 s.

4. Compare the test fi eld with the color scale.

If sulfi te ions are present, the test fi eld turns salmon-pink.

Interferences:

Acidic test solutions (i.e. white wine) must be buffered with solid sodium acetate prior to

testing because the test paper does not react in acidic media. Sulfi de ions also lead to a

red coloration of the test paper in neutral solutions. This interference can be eliminated by

adding an excess of nickel (II) ions. The nickel sulphide formed can be removed by fi ltration.

Larger amounts of reducing agents such as hydroxylammonium chloride or ascorbic acid
interfere with the determination leading to falsely low test results.

Disposal:

Used test strips can be placed in the normal household waste.

Storage:

Avoid exposing the strips to sunlight and moisture. Keep container cool and dry (storage
temperature not above +30 °C).

If correctly stored, the test strips may be used until the use-by-date printed on the packaging.

Allgemeine Hinweise:

Stets nur notwendige Anzahl Teststäbchen entnehmen. Dose nach Entnahme sofort wieder
verschließen. Testfeld nicht berühren.

Gebrauchsanweisung:

1. Teststäbchen 1 s in Probe (pH 6–9) eintauchen.

2. Flüssigkeitsüberschuss abschütteln.

3. 20 s warten.

4. Testfeld mit Farbskala vergleichen.

Sind Sulfi t-Ionen vorhanden, färbt sich das Testpapier lachsfarben.

Störungen:

Saure Probelösungen (z. B. Weißwein) müssen mit festem Natriumacetat neutralisiert wer-

den, weil das Testpapier in sauren Lösungen nicht reagiert. Sulfi de stören, weil diese in neu-

traler Lösung ebenfalls zu einer Rotfärbung des Papieres führen. Die Störung wird beseitigt

durch Zugabe eines Überschusses von Nickel (II)-Ionen. Das sich bildende Nickelsulfi d wird
abfi ltriert. Größere Mengen Reduktionsmittel, z. B. Hydroxylammoniumchlorid oder Ascor­binsäure, stören. Es wird zu wenig Sulfi t angezeigt.

Entsorgung:

Benutzte Teststäbchen in den Hausmüll geben.

Lagerbedingungen:

Teststäbchen vor Sonnenlicht und Feuchtigkeit schützen. Dose kühl und trocken aufbewah­ren (Lagertemperatur nicht über +30 °C).
Bei sachgemäßer Lagerung sind die Teststäbchen bis zum aufgedruckten Verfallsdatum
haltbar.

Indicaciones generales:

Utilice sólo la cantidad necesaria de tiras. Una vez sacadas las tiras que se necesitan, cierre
el tubo inmediatamente. No toque la almohadilla reactiva.

Instrucciones de uso:

1. Sumerja la tira reactiva por 1 s en la muestra (pH 6–9).

2. Agite un poco para eliminar el exceso de líquido.

3. Espere 20 s.

4. Compare con la escala de colores.

En presencia de iones de sulfi to, la almohadilla reactiva virará a rosa salmón.

Interferencias:

Las soluciones ácidas (p. ej. vino blanco) deberán ser neutralizadas con acetato de sodio
sólido, ya que el papel reactivo no reacciona en medio ácido. En solución neutra, los io-
nes sulfuro interfi eren haciendo virar el papel a rojo; esta interferencia puede eliminarse
añadiendo iones níquel (II) y después fi ltrando el sulfuro de níquel formado. Los agentes
reductores tales como el cloruro de hidroxilamonio o el ácido ascórbico en gran cantidad
interfi eren mostrando un contenido de sulfi to inferior al real.

Eliminación:

Las tiras reactivas usadas pueden eliminarse como residuos domésticos normales.

Almacenamiento:

Protéjanse las tiras de la luz solar y de la humedad. Guárdese el envase en un lugar fresco
y seco, a una temperatura no superior a +30 °C.

Remarques générales :

Prélever seulement le nombre de languettes test nécessaires. Refermer la boîte immédiate­ment après. Eviter de toucher la zone de test.

Mode d’emploi :

1. Immerger la languette test pendant 1 s dans l’échantillon (pH 6 à 9).

2. Eliminer l’excédent de liquide en secouant.

3. Attendre 20 s.

4. Comparer la zone de test avec l’échelle colorimétrique.

En présence d’ions de sulfi te, le papier réactif vire au rose saumon.

Interférences :

Les solutions échantillons acides (le vin blanc par ex.) doivent être neutralisées avec de
l’acétate de sodium solide parce que le papier réactif ne réagit pas dans les solutions
acides. Les sulfures interfèrent parce qu’ils occasionnent eux aussi une coloration rouge du
papier dans une solution neutre. L’interférence est supprimée par ajout d’un excédent d’ions
nickel (II). Le sulfure de nickel qui se forme est séparé par fi ltration. De grandes quantités
d’agents de réduction comme par ex. le chlorure d’hydroxylammonium ou l’acide ascorbique
interfèrent, la quantité de sulfi te indiquée étant trop faible.

Elimination :

Les languettes tests peuvent être mélangées aux ordures ménagères ordinaires.

Conservation et stabilité :

Ne pas exposer les languettes test à la lumière du soleil ni à l’humidité. Conserver la boîte
dans un endroit frais et sec (température de stockage maximale : +30 °C). Dans la mesure
ou les consignes énoncées sont respectées, les languettes test se conservent jusquʼà la
date de péremption imprimée sur l’emballage.

Indicazioni generali:

Estrarre dalla confezione soltanto il numero di strisce analitiche necessario per la misura.

Dopo il prelievo, richiudere bene e immediatamente la confezione. Non toccare con le dita i

settori di carta reattiva sulla striscia.

Istruzioni per l’uso:

1. Immergere la striscia per 1 s nel campione (pH 6–9).

2. Scuotere la striscia per eliminare il liquido in eccesso.

3. Attendere 20 s.

4. Confrontare il settore di carta reattiva con la scala cromatica.

In presenza di ioni solfi to la carta reattiva vira al salmone.

Interferenze:

Le soluzioni campione acide (ad es. vino bianco) devono essere dapprima tamponate con
acetato di sodio solido poiché la carta reattiva non reagisce in soluzioni acide. Anche i solfuri

conducono a un’alterazione dei risultati inducendo una colorazione rossa della carta reatti-

va in soluzione neutra. Tale interferenza può essere eliminata mediante aggiunta di ioni ni-

chel (II). Il solfi to di nichel formatosi può essere quindi rimosso per fi ltrazione. In presenza di
quantità maggiori di riducenti quali, ad esempio, l’idrossilammonio cloruro o l’acido ascorbico,
si ottengono risultati in difetto rispetto alla concentrazione di solfi to effettivamente presente.

Smaltimento:

Smaltire le strisce analitiche utilizzate assieme agli altri rifi uti domestici.

Magazzinaggio e conservabilità:

Proteggere le strisce analitiche dall’esposizione diretta ai raggi del sole nonché dall’umidità.

Conservare la confezione in un luogo fresco e asciutto (La temperatura di magazzinaggio
non deve essere superiore ai +30 °C).

In casa di magazzinaggio corretto, le strisce analitiche sono utilizzabili fi no alla data di sca-

denza riportata sulla confezione.

Algemene richtlijnen:

Neem telkens slechts het benodigde aantal teststrips uit de verpakking. Het blikje daarna
onmiddellijk weer goed afsluiten. Testvelden niet aanraken.

Gebruiksaanwijzing:

1. Houd het teststrip 1 s. in het monster (pH 6–9).

2. Schud de overtollige vloeistof eraf.

3. 20 s wachten.

4. Vergelijk het testveld met de kleurenschaal.

Als er sulfi etionen voorhanden zijn, kleurt het testpapier zalmroze.

Storingen:

Zure testoplossingen (bijv. witte wijn) moeten met vast natriumacetaat worden geneutrali-

seerd, omdat het testpapier in zure oplossingen niet reageert. Sulfi des storen, omdat deze

in een neutrale oplossing eveneens het papier rood laten verkleuren. De storing wordt ver­holpen door het toevoegen van een overschot van nikkel (II)-ionen. Het zich vormende nik-

kelsulfi de wordt afgefi lterd. Grotere hoeveelheden reductiemiddel, bijv. hydroxylammonium­chloride of ascorbinezuur, storen Er wordt te weinig sulfi et aangegeven.

Verwijdering:

Gebruikte teststrips in het huisvuil geven.

Opslagcondities:

Bescherm de teststrips tegen zonlicht en vochtigheid. Het blikje koel en droog bewaren (op­slagtemperatuur niet hoger dan +30 °C).
Mits bewaard onder de juiste omstandigheden zijn de teststrips tot aan de opgedrukte ver­valdatum houdbaar.

Indicazioni generali:

Estrarre dalla confezione soltanto il numero di strisce analitiche necessario per la misura.

Dopo il prelievo, richiudere bene e immediatamente la confezione. Non toccare con le dita i

settori di carta reattiva sulla striscia.

Istruzioni per l’uso:

1. Immergere la striscia per 1 s nel campione (pH 6–9).

2. Scuotere la striscia per eliminare il liquido in eccesso.

3. Attendere 20 s.

4. Confrontare il settore di carta reattiva con la scala cromatica.

In presenza di ioni solfi to la carta reattiva vira al salmone.

Interferenze:

Le soluzioni campione acide (ad es. vino bianco) devono essere dapprima tamponate con
acetato di sodio solido poiché la carta reattiva non reagisce in soluzioni acide. Anche i solfuri

conducono a un’alterazione dei risultati inducendo una colorazione rossa della carta reatti-

va in soluzione neutra. Tale interferenza può essere eliminata mediante aggiunta di ioni ni-

chel (II). Il solfi to di nichel formatosi può essere quindi rimosso per fi ltrazione. In presenza di
quantità maggiori di riducenti quali, ad esempio, l’idrossilammonio cloruro o l’acido ascorbico,
si ottengono risultati in difetto rispetto alla concentrazione di solfi to effettivamente presente.

Smaltimento:

Smaltire le strisce analitiche utilizzate assieme agli altri rifi uti domestici.

Magazzinaggio e conservabilità:

Proteggere le strisce analitiche dall’esposizione diretta ai raggi del sole nonché dall’umidità.

Conservare la confezione in un luogo fresco e asciutto (La temperatura di magazzinaggio
non deve essere superiore ai +30 °C).

In casa di magazzinaggio corretto, le strisce analitiche sono utilizzabili fi no alla data di sca-

denza riportata sulla confezione.

Wskazówki ogólne:

Należy zawsze pobierać tylko potrzebną ilość pasków testowych. Po pobraniu pasków pusz­kę należy natychmiast szczelnie zamknąć. Nie dotykać pola testowego.

Sposób użycia:

1. Paski testowe zanurzyć na 1 s w próbce (pH 6–9).

2. Strząsnąć nadmiar cieczy.

3. Odczekać 20 s.

4. Pole testowe należy porównać ze skalą kolorów.

Jeżeli obecne są jony siarczynu, wtedy papierek testowy zabarwia się na kolor łososiowy.

Zakłócenia:

Kwaśne roztwory testowe (np. białe wino) należy zneutralizować stałym octanem sodowym,
gdyż w roztworach kwaśnych papierek testowy nie reaguje. Siarczki powodują zakłóce­nia, gdyż w roztworze neutralnym prowadzą również do zabarwienia się papierka na kolor
czerwony. Zakłócenie usuwane jest przez dodanie nadwyżki jonów niklu(II). Tworzący się
siarczek niklawy jest odsączany. Większe ilości środka redukującego, np. chlorowodorek hy­droksyloaminy lub kwas askorbinowy, przeszkadzają. Wskazywane jest za mało siarczynu.

Usawanie:

Używany pasek testowy do odpadów komunalnych.

Warunki przechowywania:

Paski testowe należy chronić przed światłem słonecznym i wilgocią. Puszkę przechowywać
w miejscu chłodnym i suchym (w temperaturze nie przekraczającej +30 °C).
Przy prawidłowym składowaniu laseczki testowe są przydatne do użytku do daty podanej

na opakowaniu.
