QUANTOFIX

®

Peroxide 25 is also suitable for the detection of peracetic acid, as well

as other organic and free inorganic hydroperoxides. When detecting hydroperoxides

in organic solvents, moisten the test fi eld with 1 drop of water after evaporation/drying

of the solvent.

Instructions for use:

1. Dip the test strip into the test solution for 1 s.

2. Shake off excess liquid.

3. Wait 15 s.

4. Compare with the color scale. If hydrogen peroxide is present, the test fi eld turns
blue.

Interferences:

If the sample solution has a pH value of 2–12, the reaction will take place without
interferences. Strongly acidic solutions must be buffered with sodium acetate, and
alkaline solutions with citric acid to a pH of 5–7. Only the presence of strong oxidants
interferes with the determination.

Disposal:

Used test strips can be placed in the normal household waste

Storage:

Avoid exposing the strips to sunlight and moisture. Keep container cool and dry (stor-
age temperature not above +30 °C).
If correctly stored, the test strips may be used until the use-by-date printed on the
packaging.

Stets nur notwendige Anzahl Teststäbchen entnehmen. Dose nach Entnahme sofort

Zusätzlicher Hinweis:

QUANTOFIX
anderen organischen und freien anorganischen Hydroperoxiden. Zum Nachweis von
Hydroperoxiden in organischen Lösemitteln wird das Testfeld nach dem Verdunsten
bzw. Eintrocknen des Lösemittels mit einem Tropfen Wasser befeuchtet.

Gebrauchsanweisung:

1. Teststäbchen 1 s in Probe eintauchen.

2. Flüssigkeitsüberschuss abschütteln.

3. 15 s warten.

4. Testfeld mit Farbskala vergleichen. Ist Wasserstoffperoxid vorhanden färbt sich das
Testpapier blau

Störungen:

Im pH-Bereich von 2–12 ist die Reaktion unabhängig vom pH-Wert der zu prüfenden
Lösung. Stark saure Lösungen müssen mit Natriumacetat gepuffert werden, alkali­sche Lösungen müssen mit Citronensäure auf pH 5–7 eingestellt werden. Der Test
wird nur durch starke Oxidations mittel gestört.

Entsorgung:

Benutzte Teststäbchen in den Hausmüll geben.

Lagerbedingungen:

Teststäbchen vor Sonnenlicht und Feuchtigkeit schützen. Dose kühl und trocken auf­bewahren (Lagertemperatur nicht über +30 °C).
Bei sachgemäßer Lagerung sind die Teststäbchen bis zum aufgedruckten Verfalls­datum haltbar.

Peróxido 25 puede emplearse también para la detección de ácido pe-
racético, así como otros hidroperóxidos orgánicos e inorgánicos libres. Para la de-
tección de hidroperóxidos en disolventes orgánicos, la almohadilla reactiva deberá
humedecerse con 1 gota de agua después de que la solución problema se ha eva-
porado o secado.

Instrucciones de uso:

1. Sumerja la tira reactiva en la muestra por 1 s.

2. Agite un poco para eliminar el exceso de líquido.

3. Espere 15 s.

4. Compare con la escala de colores. En presencia de peróxido de hidrógeno, la

almohadilla adquirirá una coloración azul.

Interferencias:

Si la solución problema tiene un valor pH de 2–12, la reacción se producirá sin inter-
ferencias. Las soluciones fuertemente ácidas deberán tamponarse con acetato de
sodio, y las soluciones alcalinas con ácido cítrico hasta que alcancen un pH de 5–7.
Sólo las sustancias fuertemente oxidantes causan interferencias en el test.

Eliminación:

Las tiras reactivas usadas pueden eliminarse como residuos domésticos normales.

Almacenamiento:

Protéjanse las tiras de la luz solar y de la humedad. Guárdese el envase en un lugar
fresco y seco, a una temperatura no superior a +30 °C.
Estando almacenadas correctamente, las tiras reactivas pueden usarse hasta la fe-
cha de vencimiento que consta en el envase.

Remarques générales :

Prélever seulement le nombre de languettes test nécessaires. Refermer la boîte im­médiatement après. Eviter de toucher la zone de test.

Remarque spécifi que au test :

détermination des hydroperoxydes dans les solvants organiques, il convient d’humidi­fi er la zone de test avec une goutte d’eau après évaporation ou séchage du solvant.

Mode d’emploi :

1. Immerger la languette test pendant 1 s dans l’échantillon.

2. Eliminer l’excédent de liquide en secouant la languette.

3. Attendre 15 s.

4. Comparer la couleur de la zone test avec l’échelle colorimétrique. En présence

de peroxyde d’hydrogène, le papier réactif prend une teinte bleue, plus ou moins

foncée.

Interférences :

Dans la gamme de pH de 2 à 12, la réaction ne dépend pas du pH de la solution à

analyser. Les solutions fortement acides doivent être tamponnées avec de l’acétate
de sodium, les solutions alcalines amenées à un pH de 5 à 7 avec de l’acide citrique.

Seuls des oxydants puissants peuvent perturber le test.

Elimination :

Les languettes tests peuvent être mélangées aux ordures ménagères ordinaires.

Conservation et stabilité :

Ne pas exposer les languettes test à la lumière du soleil ni à l’humidité. Conserver

la boîte dans un endroit frais et sec (température de stockage maximale : +30 °C).
Dans la mesure ou les consignes énoncées sont respectées, les languettes test se

conservent jusquʼà la date de péremption imprimée sur l’emballage.

Il presente test non contiene sostanze pericolose con obbligo di etichettatura.

Indicazioni generali:

Estrarre dalla confezione soltanto il numero di strisce analitiche necessario per la mi-
sura. Dopo il prelievo, richiudere bene e immediatamente la confezione. Non toccare
con le dita i settori di carta reattiva sulla striscia.

Indicazioni supplementari:

QUANTOFIX

®

Perossido 25 è idoneo per la rilevazione di acido peracetico e di altri

perossidi di idrogeno organici ed inorganici liberi. Per la rilevazione di perossidi di idro-

geno in solventi organici, dopo l’evaporazione e l’essicazione del solvente inumidire
con una goccia d’acqua il settore di carta reattiva.

Istruzioni per l’uso:

1. Immergere la striscia analitica per 1 s nel campione.

2. Scuotere la striscia per eliminare il liquido in eccesso.

3. Attendere 15 s.

4. Confrontare il settore di carta reattiva con la scala cromatica. In presenza di peros-

sido d’idrogeno il settore di carta reattiva prende una colorazione blu.

Interferenze:

In presenza di un pH pari a 2–12, la reazione dipende dal valore pH della soluzione
analitica. Soluzioni fortemente acide devono venire tamponate con sodio acetato; so-
luzioni alcaline devono essere invece regolate su un pH pari a 5–7 utilizzando acido

citrico. Il risultato del test viene infl uenzato dalla presenza di forti ossidanti.

Smaltimento:

Smaltire le strisce analitiche utilizzate assieme agli altri rifi uti domestici.

Magazzinaggio e conservabilità:

Proteggere le strisce analitiche dall’esposizione diretta ai raggi del sole nonché dall’u-

midità. Conservare la confezione in un luogo fresco e asciutto (La temperatura di
magazzinaggio non deve essere superiore ai +30 °C).

In casa di magazzinaggio corretto, le strisce analitiche sono utilizzabili fi no alla data di

scadenza riportata sulla confezione.

Algemene richtlijnen:

Neem telkens slechts het benodigde aantal teststrips uit de verpakking. Het blikje
daarna onmiddellijk weer goed afsluiten. Testvelden niet aanraken.

Extra richtlijn:

QUANTOFIX
andere organische en vrije anorganische hydroperoxiden. Voor het aantonen van hy­droperoxiden in organische oplosmiddelen wordt het testveld na het verdampen of
indrogen van het oplosmiddel met een druppel water bevochtigd.

Gebruiksaanwijzing:

1. De teststrip 1 s in het monster onderdompelen.

2. Schud de overtollige vloeistof eraf.

3. 15 s wachten.

4. Vergelijk het testveld met de kleurenschaal. Als er waterstofperoxide voorhanden
is, verkleurt het testpapier blauw.

Storingen:

Binnen een pH-bereik van 2–12 is de reactie onafhankelijk van de pH-waarde van de
te controleren oplossing. Sterk zure oplossingen moeten met natriumacetaat worden
gebufferd, alkalische oplossingen moeten met citroenzuur op pH 5–7 worden inge­steld. De test wordt alleen door sterke oxidatiemiddelen gestoord.

Verwijdering:

Gebruikte teststrips in het huisvuil geven.

Opslagcondities:

Bescherm de teststrips tegen zonlicht en vochtigheid. Het blikje koel en droog bewa­ren (opslagtemperatuur niet hoger dan +30 °C).
Mits bewaard onder de juiste omstandigheden zijn de teststrips tot aan de opgedrukte
vervaldatum houdbaar.

Indicazioni di pericolo:

Il presente test non contiene sostanze pericolose con obbligo di etichettatura.

Indicazioni generali:

Estrarre dalla confezione soltanto il numero di strisce analitiche necessario per la mi­sura. Dopo il prelievo, richiudere bene e immediatamente la confezione. Non toccare
con le dita i settori di carta reattiva sulla striscia.

Indicazioni supplementari:

QUANTOFIX
perossidi di idrogeno organici ed inorganici liberi. Per la rilevazione di perossidi di idro-

geno in solventi organici, dopo l’evaporazione e l’essicazione del solvente inumidire
con una goccia d’acqua il settore di carta reattiva.

Istruzioni per l’uso:

1. Immergere la striscia analitica per 1 s nel campione.

2. Scuotere la striscia per eliminare il liquido in eccesso.

3. Attendere 15 s.

4. Confrontare il settore di carta reattiva con la scala cromatica. In presenza di peros-

sido d’idrogeno il settore di carta reattiva prende una colorazione blu.

Interferenze:

In presenza di un pH pari a 2–12, la reazione dipende dal valore pH della soluzione
analitica. Soluzioni fortemente acide devono venire tamponate con sodio acetato; so­luzioni alcaline devono essere invece regolate su un pH pari a 5–7 utilizzando acido

citrico. Il risultato del test viene infl uenzato dalla presenza di forti ossidanti.

Smaltimento:

Smaltire le strisce analitiche utilizzate assieme agli altri rifi uti domestici.

Magazzinaggio e conservabilità:

Proteggere le strisce analitiche dall’esposizione diretta ai raggi del sole nonché dall’u-

midità. Conservare la confezione in un luogo fresco e asciutto (La temperatura di
magazzinaggio non deve essere superiore ai +30 °C).

In casa di magazzinaggio corretto, le strisce analitiche sono utilizzabili fi no alla data di

scadenza riportata sulla confezione.

Wskazówki bezpieczeństwa:

Test nie zawiera substancji niebezpiecznych objętych obowiązkiem oznaczenia.

Wskazówki ogólne:

Należy zawsze pobierać tylko potrzebną ilość pasków testowych. Po pobraniu pasków
puszkę należy natychmiast szczelnie zamknąć. Nie dotykać pola testowego.

Wskazówka dodatkowa:

QUANTOFIX
kwasu nadoctowego organicznych i innych wolnych wodoronadtlenków organicznych

i nieorganicznych. Aby móc przeprowadzić test na obecność wodoronadtlenków w
rozpuszczalnikach organicznych należy po odparowaniu lub wyschnięciu rozpusz­czalnika zwilżyć pole testowe kroplą wody.

Sposób użycia:

1. Pasek testowy należy na jedną sekundę zanurzyć w próbce.

2. Wstrząsnąć paskiem w celu redukcji nadmiernej ilości cieczy.

3. Odczekać 15 sekund.

4. Pole testowe porównać z kolorową skalą. Jeśli próbka zawiera wodoronadtlenek,

papierek testowy zabarwi się na kolor niebieski.

Zakłócenia:

W przedziale pH 2–12 reakcja jest niezależna od testowanego roztworu. Roztwory o
silnej kwasowości należy zmieszać z octanem sodu, roztwory alkaliczne należy zmie­szać z kwasem cytrynowym o wartości pH 5–7. Silne środki utleniające mogą zakłócić
prawidłowe przeprowadzenie testu.

Usawanie:

Używany pasek testowy do odpadów komunalnych.

Warunki przechowywania:

Paski testowe należy chronić przed światłem słonecznym i wilgocią. Puszkę przecho­wywać w miejscu chłodnym i suchym (w temperaturze nie przekraczającej +30 °C).
Przy prawidłowym składowaniu laseczki testowe są przydatne do użytku do daty po-

danej na opakowaniu.
