Macally peripherals warr ants that t his produc t will be fre e from defects in title, materials and manufacturing
workmanship for one year from the date of purchase. If the product is found to be defective then, as your sole
remedy and as the manufacturer’s only obligation, Macally will re pair or replace the product. This warranty shall
not apply to products that have been subject to abuse, misuse, abnor mal elec trical or environmental conditions,
or any condition othe r than what can be considered as nor mal use.

Warranty Disclaimers

Macally Peripherals makes no other warranties, express, implied or otherwise, regarding the BTkey, and
specifically disclaims any warranty for merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. The exclusion of implied
warranties is not permitted in some states and the exclusions specified herein may not apply to you. This warranty
provides you with sp ecific legal rights. There may be other rights that you have which vary form s tate to state.

Limitation of Liability

The liability of Macally Peripherals arising from this warranty and sale shall be limited to a refund of
the purchase price. In no event shall Macally Per ipherals be liable for costs of procurement of substitute

produc ts or ser vices, or for any lost profits, or for any consequential, incidental, direct or indirect damages,
however caused and on any theory of liabilit y, arising from this warr anty and sale. These limitations shall apply

not withstanding any failure of essential purpose of any limited remedy. V1.1.

from us, or f rom any of our authorised resellers, that it will not contain defects which are a result of fault y

manufacturer workmanship or materials. This warranty subsists for 1 year from the date of purchase.

Subject to any rights you have under the Aus tralian Consumer Law, we will not be liable for defects which

are a result of damage or loss cause d by factor s beyond our control, any product which has not been
maintained according to any care or maintenance instructions provided with the product, any alter ations to a

produc t which are not performed by us, or d amage or defects caused to the product due to unusual or non-

recommended use. We will not be liable for any spe cial, indire ct, consequential or e conomic loss or damage

or loss of p rofits whatsoever suffered by you or any other person resultin g from any act or omission by us. Our
total liability in respect of this Warranty agains t Defects is limited to the replacement of the goods.

Any claim made under this war ranty must be made by returning the defec tive goods to us, at your expense. Please

provide details of th e defect and evidence of purchase to suppor [e-mail] and we will provide instructions
on how to obtain a replacement. If you do not have Internet access please telephone us for fur ther ins tructions.

This Warr anty against Defects is provided in addition to other rights and remedies that you may h ave at law.
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be exclude d under the A ustralian Consumer Law. You are

entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation for any reasonably foreseeable

loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of

acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
