Thank you for purchasing the Macally AmpTune, stereo speaker and
charger for iphone and iPod. The Macally AmpTune works with Apple
iPhone or iPod with 30-pin Dock Conenctor and any audio device with

3.5 mm audio jack.

Note: The Play/Pause, Previous Track and Next Track buttons work under
the music mode of iPod only.

How to u se the AmpTune

1a. Connect the power adaptor from the DC jack on the back of the

AmpTune to the wall power outlet; or,

1b. Install 4 AA batteries (not included) in the battery compartment

located on the bottom of the AmpTune.*

2. Press the power button to turn on the AmpTune.

3. Slide the speakers to the sides to expose the 30-pin Dock Connector
ports.

4a. Place your iPhone or iPod in the AmpTune; the iPhone or iPod touch

can be placed vertically or horizontally, all other iPod models should
be placed vertically only.

4b.Connect other MP3 players to the 3.5 mm audio jack on the back of

the AmpTune by using the audio cable (included).

5. Slide both speakers towards the center to hold your iPhone or iPod
in place.

* Note: The charging function is disabled during battery use. Average
battery usage time is around 6 hours play time.

Warranty

Macally Peripherals warrants that this product will be free from defects in title, materials and
manufacturing workmanship for two (2) years from the date of the purchase. If the product
is found to be defective then, as your sole remedy and as the manufacturer’s only obligation,
Macally will repair or replace the product. This warranty is exclusive and is limited to the Macally
AmpTune. This warranty shall not apply to products that have been subjected to abuse, misuse,
abnormal electrical or environmental conditions, or any condition other than wha t can be
considered normal use.

The liability of Macally Peripherals arising from this warranty and sale shall be limited to a refund
of the purchase price. In no event shall Macally Peripherals be liable for costs of procurement of
substitute products or services, or for any lost profits, or for any consequential, incidental, direct
or indirect damages, however caused and on any theory of liability, arising from this warranty
and sale. These limitations shall apply notwithstanding any failure of essential purpose of any
limited remedy.

Environmental Information for Customers in the European Union

European Directive 2002/96/EC requires that the equipment bearing this symbol
on the product and/or its packaging must not be disposed of with unsorted
municipal waste. The symbol indicates that this product should be disposed of
separately from regular household waste streams. It is your responsibility to
dispose of this and other electric and electronic equipment via designated collec-

tion facilities app ointed by the government or local authorities. Correct disposal
and recycling will help prevent potential negative consequences to the environment and human

Hinweis: Die Tasten Abspielen/Pause, Vor und Zurück, funktionieren
während des Abspielens lediglich mit iPod.

Benutzung des AmpTune

1a. Schliessen Sie das Netzgerät hinten an der Spannungs versorgungs-

buchse des AmpTune und eine Netzsteckdose an, oder

1b. Legen Sie 4 Batterien Typ AA (nicht inbegriffen) in das Batteriefach

anderUnterseitedesAmpTuneein.*

2. Drücken Sie den Einschaltkopf um den AmpTune zu aktivieren.

3. Schieben Sie die Lautsprecher seitlich auseinander um den 30-poli-

gen iPod Dockinganschluss freizulegen.

4a. Legen Sie Ihr iPhone oder iPod in den AmpTune ein; der iPhone oder

iPod touch kann waagerecht oder senkrecht eingesteckt werden,
alle anderen iPod Modelle sollten senkrecht stehen.

4b. Schliessen Sie andere MP3-Geräte mit dem beiliegenden

Audiokabel am 3,5 mm Klinkensteckeranschluss an der Hinterseite
des AmpTune an.

5. Schieben Sie beide Lautsprecher zusammen um den iPhone oder

iPod festzuhalten.

* Hinweis: Die Ladefunktion ist während des Batteriebetriebes ab geschal­tet. Die durchschnittliche Lebensdauer der Batterien beträgt 6 Stunden.

Gewährleistung

Macally Peripherals garantiert daß dieses Produkt frei von Rechtsmängeln ist, und gewährleistet
eine G arantie von zwei (2) Jahre für Material- und Fertigungsfehler ab Kaufdatum. Sollte das
Produkt jedoch Mängel aufweisen, so besteht der Anspruch des Käufers und die Verpflichtung
des Herstellers lediglich in der Reparatur oder im Ersatz des Produkts durch Macally. Diese
Gewährleistung gilt ausschließlich für dem AmpTune. Sie gilt nicht für den Fall, daß der Defekt des
Produkts durch Anwendungsfehler, Mißbrauch, anormale elektrische oder Umweltbedingungen
bzw. Bedingungen entstand, die nicht als normaler Gebrauch gelten.

Die Verantwortung von Macally Peripherals aufgrund dieser Garantie ist auf den Wert des
von Ihnen verauslagten Kaufpreises begrenzt. In keinem Falle haftet Macally Peripherals für
Vertretungskosten, Kosten für den Produktersatz oder Serviceleistungen wie auch verloren gegan­genen Gewinn oder andere folgerichtige zufällige, direkte oder indirekte Schäden wie auch immer
verursacht und in welcher Haftungstheorie enthalten, die ihre Grundlage in dieser Garantie bzw.
diesem Kauf haben. Diese Beschränkungen sind auch dann anzuwenden, wenn die essenziellen
Ziele einer beschränkten Besserung nicht erreicht werden.

Die Europäische Richtlinie 2002/96/EC verlangt, da ss technische Ausrüstung,

die direkt am Gerät und/oder an der Verpackung mit diesem Symbol versehen
