Instrucciones importantes de seguridad
• No use extensiones.
• No conecte otros aparatos en el
mismo contacto eléctrico.
• Sujete el conector por la clavija, no
por el cable.

• No coloque reguladores de voltaje,
cacerolas eléctricas, hornos de microondas ni ningún otro aparato sobre el congelador ni en su interior.
ADVERTENCIAS RELACIONADAS CON LA OPERACIÓN
• No trate de dar servicio usted mismo al congelador, tampoco trate de
desarmarlo. Todo trabajo de mantenimiento o reparación debe ser llevado a cabo por personal del centro
de servicio autorizado.
• No debe instalarse el aparato pegado a muros, debe dejarse un claro
libre para mantener una buena ventilación.
• Los claros entre las puertas del
aparato así como entre las puertas
y el cuerpo del congelador son pequeños. Para evitar machucones, no
coloque sus manos en estas áreas.
• Para evitar que su piel quede pegada a los artículos, no tome los paquetes de alimentos o los contenedores de alimentos mientras el aparato está trabajando; especialmente
los contenedores metálicos.
• Para evitar lesiones serias, NO permita que los niños ingresen al interior del aparato ni que trepen sobre
él. Podrían quedar atrapados en su
interior.
• No rocíe el aparato con ningún líquido ni lo lave usando agua. No
instale el congelador en un sitio húmedo, ni en un sitio en donde puede ser salpicado fácilmente con
agua, ya que esto afectará las propiedades de aislamiento eléctrico
del aparato.
• No coloque objetos pesados sobre
el congelador.

• Antes de limpiar el aparato o en
caso de un apagón, desconéctelo
del suministro de energía eléctrica.
Una vez desconectado del suministro de energía, no conecte el aparato antes de que hayan transcurrido
cinco minutos. Esto previene posibles daños al compresor debido a
arranques sucesivos.
• No introduzca artículos inflamables,
explosivos, volátiles y altamente corrosivos dentro del congelador. Esto
previene daños al producto y accidentes.
• No coloque artículos inflamables
cerca del congelador.
• Este producto es un congelador doméstico de alimentos y es apropiado para almacenar alimentos solamente. Este aparato NO debe usarse con otros propósitos como por
ejemplo el almacenamiento de sangre, medicamentos o productos biológicos.
• No almacene en el congelador botellas ni contenedores sellados
como por ejemplo cerveza y bebidas embotelladas. Los líquidos embotellados pueden estallar cuando
se congelan.

El refrigerante R600a así como la espuma de ciclopentano que se usan en

• La temperatura baja del congelador

Lámpara
La lámpara y/o el foco LED debe ser reemplazado por técnicos del centro de
servicio autorizado.
Ubicación del congelador
• Antes de usar el congelador, retire
todo el material de empaque incluyendo el acojinamiento inferior, las
almohadillas de espuma y cinta adhesiva. Retire la película protectora que se encuentra sobre las puertas y cuerpo del aparato.
• Coloque el congelador en un sitio
bien ventilado y en interiores. El
piso debe estar plano y lo suficientemente fuerte para soportar el
peso del aparato completamente
cargado.

• El sitio de instalación debe estar
alejado del calor y no debe recibir
los rayos directos del sol. Para evitar el óxido así como el deterioro
del sistema aislante, no coloque el
aparato en sitios húmedos ni mojados.
• Deben respetarse los claros mínimos que son 70 cm por encima del
aparato y 20 cm hacia los lados y
también hacia la parte trasera del
congelador. Esto facilita la apertura
de las puertas y permite la disipación del calor que genera el sistema
de refrigeración.
• Limpie el interior y exterior del
aparato usando un trapo húmedo.
Puede usar agua templada para humedecer el trapo y agregar un poco
de detergente líquido. Enjuague
usando un trapo humedecido en
agua limpia y sin detergente.
Arranque
• Permita que el aparato descanse en
su sitio final de instalación por 30
minutos antes de conectarlo al suministro de energía.
• Permita que el congelador trabaje
durante 2 a 3 horas antes de introducir alimentos frescos o congelados en el compartimiento. Durante
el verano, permita que el congelador trabaje por más de 4 horas antes de introducir los alimentos. Esto
se debe a que la temperatura ambiental será más alta.

Instrucciones de mantenimiento
Limpieza
ADVERTENCIA: ANTES DE
LLEVAR A CABO CUALQUIER TRABAJO DE LIMPIEZA, DESCONECTE EL
APARATO DEL SUMINISTRO DE ENERGÍA.
1. Sacuda regularmente el área por
detrás del aparato y bajo él. Esto
mejora el enfriamiento así como el
consumo de energía.
2. El interior del congelador debe
limpiarse regularmente para evitar
la formación de olores. Se sugiere
usar una toalla suave o una esponja humedecida en una mezcla de
agua con un detergente neutro.
3. Para finalizar la limpieza, limpie el
aparato con un trapo humedecido
en agua limpia y después pase un
trapo suave y seco.
4. Antes de encender el aparato de
nuevo, deje abiertas las puertas
para que el interior se seque naturalmente.
• No enjuague con agua ya que podría dañar el sistema de aislamiento
eléctrico. Use un trapo seco y suave
para limpiar el panel de controles y
componentes eléctricos.
Deshielo
El congelador debe deshielarse manualmente.
1. Desconecte el aparato y abra la
puerta.
2. Retire los alimentos, cajones y
anaqueles antes de deshielar el
aparato.
3. Retire los tapones de los agujeros
de drenaje y coloque contenedores
para recibir el agua producto del
deshielo.
El hielo del interior se derretirá naturalmente. Limpie el agua producto
del deshielo usando un trapo seco y
suave. Una vez que el hielo se ha
suavizado, puede usar una espátula
especial para retirar el hielo.
Coloque los alimentos que retiró, en
un sitio frío.
• No use cepillos rígidos, bolas de
acero, cepillos de alambre, substancias abrasivas como pasta dental,
solventes orgánicos como alcohol,
acetona, aceites de frutas, etc.,
agua hirviendo, ácidos ni substancias alcalinas debido a que estas
substancias dañarán las superficies
interiores y exteriores del aparato.
ADVERTENCIA: NO DEBE
USARSE NINGÚN APARATO PARA ACELERAR EL
PROCESO DE DESHIELO.
NO DAÑE EL CIRCUITO DE
REFRIGERACIÓN.

En caso de un apagón, pueden preservarse los alimentos por un par de
horas aún durante el verano. Reduzca la frecuencia con la que abre las
puertas del aparato. No introduzca
más alimentos a temperatura ambiente en el aparato durante un apagón.
Si no va a usar el aparato por un periodo largo de tiempo, entonces desconecte el aparato del suministro de
energía. Deje las puertas abiertas
para evitar la formación de olores.
No voltee el aparato. Cuando lo mueva, asegúrese de no inclinarlo en un
ángulo mayor a 45º.
Antes de mover el aparato para una
mudanza, asegure las puertas.
Solución de problemas
Los siguientes problemas pueden resolverse fácilmente. Si no soluciona el
problema, entonces contacte al centro de servicio autorizado.

• El interior del aparato necesita limpieza.
El compresor trabaja ininterrumpidamente.
• Es normal que el compresor trabaje más tiempo durante el verano, cuando la temperatura ambiental es
más alta.
• No introduzca demasiados alimentos en el congelador al mismo tiempo.
• No introduzca alimentos calientes en el congelador.
• No abra las puertas del congelador con demasiada
frecuencia.
• Capa gruesa de hielo. El aparato necesita un deshielo.

Do not use electrical appliances in
the compartment.
OPERATION RELATED WARNINGS
• It is forbidden to damage the refrigerant lines. Repair and maintenance jobs of the refrigerator must
be carried out by professionals.
• The surrounding of the appliance
must not be obstructed while good
ventilation shall be maintained.
• The gaps between freezer doors
and between doors and freezer
body are small, do not to place your
hands in these areas to prevent
pinching your fingers.
• Do not pick foods or containers
from the freezing chamber when
the refrigerator is running, especially metal containers in order to
avoid frostbite.
• Do not allow children to enter or
climb the freezer to prevent that

children are injured by the falling

storage of food. According to national standards, household freezers

DISPOSAL RELATED WARNINGS

combustible materials. Discarded

keep food fresh for a long time and
it is mainly used to store frozen
foods and making ice.
• The freezer is suitable for storage
of meat, fish, shrimp, dumplings,
rice balls and other foods not to be
consumed in short term.
• Chunks of meat should preferably
be divided into small pieces for
easy access. Please note that food
shall be consumed within the shelf
time.

Locating the freezer
• Before using the freezer, remove all
packaging materials including bottom cushions, foam pads and tape
inside the freezer. Remove the protective film on the door and freezer
cabinet.
• Place the freezer on a well ventilated indoor place. The floor should
be flat and sturdy enough to support the weight of the freezer completely loaded.

Cleaning
CHEST FREEZER
WARNING: UNPLUG FROM
ELECTRIC POWER BEFORE
PERFORMING ANY CLEANING JOB.
1. Regularly dust behind the freezer
and under it to improve the cooling
effect and energy saving.
2. The interior of the freezer should
be cleaned regularly to avoid odor.
A soft towel or sponge dampened
in water and a non-corrosive neutral detergent are suggested for
cleaning.
3. The freezer of shall be finally
cleaned with clean water and a dry
soft cloth.
4. Open the door for natural drying
before the power is turned on.
• Do not use hard brushes, clean
steel balls, wire brushes, abrasives
such as toothpaste, organic solvents (such as alcohol, acetone, banana oil, etc.), boiling water, acid or
alkaline items to clean the freezer
considering that these may damage
the appliance exterior and interior
surfaces.
• Do not rinse with water so as not to
affect the electrical insulation properties. Please use a soft dry cloth
when cleaning temperature control
knob and electrical components.
Defrost
Freezer shall be manually defrosted.
1. Unplug the freezer and open the
freezer door.
2. Remove foods and drawers before
defrosting.
3. Open the drainage holes and place
a water container at the drainage
holes.
Indoor frost will naturally melt, wipe
the defrost water with a dry, soft
cloth. When the frost softens, an ice
scraper may be used.
Place the foods you removed from
the freezer into an insulated container or locker.
WARNING: DO NOT USE
ANY DEVICE TO ACCELERATE THE DEFROSTING
PROCESS. DO NOT DAMAGE THE REFRIGERANT
CIRCUIT.

CHEST FREEZER
In case of a power failure, foods can
be preserved for a couple of hours
even during summer. It is recommended to reduce the frequency of
opening door and do not put fresh
foods into the freezer.
Please unplug the freezer if left unused for a long time or for cleaning.
Keep the door open to avoid odors.
Do not turn upside, horizontally place
or vibrate the refrigerator, the carrying angle should not be greater than
45°.
Secure doors before moving the appliance.
Troubleshooting
The following issues can be handled by the user. Please call the after-sales
service department if the issue is not solved.

The freezer does
not operate
• Check that the appliance is plugged to power.
• Low voltage.
• Make sure the temperature control knob is in a
working setting.
• Power failure or tripped circuit.
Odor • Food producing strong odor should be tightly
wrapped.
• Rotten food.
• The interior of the appliance needs cleaning.
Long-term operation of compressor
• It is normal for the freezer to operate for longer
times during summer when the room temperature is
higher.
• Do not add to much food in the freezer at the same
time.
• Do not place warm food inside the freezer. Wait until
food packages are at room temperature.
• Freezer door opened for too long or too frequently.
• Thick frost layer (defrost is needed).

Normal operation conditions
• The freezer compartment may emit
heat during operation especially
during summer. This is caused by
the radiation of the condenser and
is normal.
• Condensation may be noticed on
the exterior surfaces of cabinet and
door seals, when the ambient hu-
midity is high. This is normal. Wipe
the condensation using a soft cloth.
• Airflow sound. Refrigerant circulating through the refrigerant lines will
produce gurgling and grunts. This is
normal and will not affect the cooling performance of the appliance.
• Buzzing sound. This will be gener-
ated by the compressor running,
specially when starting and turning
off.
• Clatter. The solenoid valve or electric switch valve will clatter which is
normal and does not affect opera-
tion of the freezer.
