It is important for you to read this user instructions sheet before using this Lynx 310 BTE Hearing Amplifier.
All the instructions in this user’s manual should be followed when operating the device, you should read and
observe the warning statements, and be sure to keep this user instructions sheet for future reference.

To adjust yourselves to this Lynx 310 BTE Hearing Amplifier you may want to wear the device and try
listening to the radio or watching television, start conversations with the others; thru practice you will soon
be able to identify sounds and voices surrounding you with this Lynx 310 BTE Hearing Amplifier. When you
first start wearing the device you should concentrate particularly on those sounds and voices you want to hear,
practise with this Lynx 310 BTE Hearing Amplifier to pick them up from one to another. This Lynx 310 BTE
Hearing Amplifier is designed to fit either ear.

1. Turning on/off the device:

The ON/OFF switch is located on the lower-back of
the device casing as illustrated. Slide the switch to the
direction towards the battery door for turning the
device ON, vice-versa for turning the device OFF.
This Lynx 310 BTE Hearing Amplifier should be
turned off when not in use to maximize battery life.

Caution:

This BTE Hearing Amplifier is a delicate device can be damaged easily, must be handled with care.

3. Adjustable audio wire:

The audio wire is left/right adjustable in 145º to
accommodate difference ear shape of the wearer.

2. Volume control:

The amplified sound volume control of this Lynx 310
BTE Hearing Amplifier is continuously adjustable
located on the upper-back of the device casing. Turn
control knob to the direction towards the battery-door
for adjusting the amplified sound to its high-spec­trum, vice-versa to its low-spectrum; sound volume
should be regulated to its lowest spectrum prior to
wearing the device.

4. Battery installation:

The battery compartment of the device is located on
the back of the device casing with a battery door, to
open the battery door by lifting it with the battery
door handler. To install or replace the 1.5V AG13/
LR-44 Alkaline button cell battery for the Lynx 310
BTE Hearing Amplifier you must ensure the battery
polarity (+) flat-end facing the side of the device
casing that marked with a “circle +”.

The battery compartment may be jammed with the
battery when wrongly installed, resulting device
malfunctions. Contact your reseller if similar situation
occurred, do not attempt to repair the device by
yourselves, such move may cause un-repairable
damage to the device.

Use and Care:

To upkeep this Lynx 310 BTE Hearing Amplifier, daily
cleaning is of primary importance. You may want to
follow the steps below to maintain your device.

1. With a soft bristled brush, brush gently back and
forth across the receiver end to remove all the wax and
dirt that may have collected inside. This prevents wax
from building up.

2. Make sure the receiver end is cleared of debris &
dirt.

3. Wipe the case with damp cloth only. Do not use
liquid or aerosol cleaners to clean the device.

4. When not using store it safely in the container.

5. Wearing this Lynx 310 BTE Hearing Amplifier:

The illustrations below showing how the device is
properly worn by the wearer. This Lynx 310 BTE
Hearing Amplifier should be installed with an ear­tip to the receiver end of the device earpiece before
wearing. To wear the device without ear tip on it may
result weak amplified sound delivered for your
hearing; will cause the unwanted feedback.
In wearing the device, try to insert the ear tip towards
inside your ear canal, and to adjust the earpiece with
for comfort and better fit.

This Lynx 310 BTE Hearing Amplifier is a wearable electronic product of the personal sound amplification
products (PSAPs) intended to amplify environmental sound for the non-hearing impaired consumers, contrary
to compensate for hearing impairment. In accordance with the Guidance for Industry & FDA Staff ­Regulatory Requirements for Hearing Aid Devices and Personal Sound Amplification Products issued on
February 25, 2009, the product is subject to applicable provisions of the Radiation Control for Health and
Safety Act of 1968, under which FDA regulates electronic products that emit sonic vibrations, such as sound
amplification equipment. This BTE Hearing Amplifier conforms to the Code of Federal Regulations 21
CFR1000.15 [TITLE 21 VOLUME 8 REVISED AS OF APRIL 1 2010].
