Read attentively the safety instruction in this manual before the use, in order to guarantee a correct and safe usage of your unit. The non observance of the security instruction will invalidate the warranty. Lux declines every responsibility for damage to third parties or things caused by the non observance of the below listed security instruction. The electric security of this unit is granted only when connected
to an electric main having a socket and a differential switch complying with the law. It is compulsory to check these safety characteristics.
Do not insert or remove the plug from the socket with wet
hands.
Do not touch the unit with wet hands or feet when connected
to the main.
The electric contact data on the rating plate such as voltage,
frequency and maximal ampere must comply with the ones at the socket.
Installation, maintenance and repairs may only be undertaken
by authorised Lux personnel.
Keep the device in a dry place. Do not expose it to atmospheric
agents, humidity or heat sources.
Always switch off the unit and disconnect the plug from the
main before any maintenance or cleaning.
Do not use the device if the electric cord or the unit appear
to be damaged. Replace the electric cord by the authorized person from Lux only.
In case of damages or incorrect functioning of the unit switch
off and unplug immediately the unit and contact a Lux Service Centre.
Only use Lux ORIGINAL spare parts for the repair. This product has been developed for the domestic use.
Every use in professional segment, or improper use, or the non observance of the security instruction will invalidate the warranty
The constructor declines any responsibility for damages
caused to third persons or objects due to improper use of the unit, or repairs or service done by non authorised personnel.
This appliance is not to be used by children and persons with
reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge unless they are given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
Children should not play with the appliance. Cleaning and
user maintenance should not be done by children without strict supervision.
For a correct use and performance
The inlet water should always be at a temperature above 5°C
and below 40°C
Never use the unit in places exposed to frost. The inlet water pressure should always be between a min. of
1 bar and a max. of 3 bar. For higher inlet pressure install a pressure regulator.
The inlet water hardness should be of max 300mg/L. In case of
higher hardness install a water softener.
The inlet water TDS should be of max 2000 mg/L.. In case of well, tank or surface water, even with certicate of
potability, use an additional pre-lter outside the unit.
For a correct functioning, the membranes are preserved
in a bacteriostatic liquid. By the rst installation and after a membrane replacement, run the water for about 30 minutes before drinking it.
After a pause let the water ow for 30 seconds before using it,
this will have a better quality.
The UV lamp is activated when the unit is switched on therefore
it is necessary to let some water ow for one minute before the use. This is necessary for a correct bacteria removal.
The UV lamp has to be replaced only by authorized service
person from Lux. Users are not allowed to handle the UV Lamp
The appliance has to be connected to permanent water source In case of inactivity of the unit for periods between 7 and 25
days, let the water run for at least 15 minutes before using it. For longer periods it is necessary to remove the membrane for their preservation.
By ensuring this product is disposed of correctly, you will help prevent potential negative consequences for the environment and human health which could
otherwise be caused by inappropriate waste handling this product. This product cannot be treated as household waste. Instead it shall be handed over to a Lux service or collection point for the recycling of electrical and electronic equipment.
