Installation/Replacement
• To use the unit, you must install
batteries.
• Open battery cover as illustrated.
Install or replace two new batteries, making
sure the polarities (+ and -) on the battery
match the polarities on the case.
• Replace battery cover.
• If the Low Battery indicator “ “ appears on
the display, both batteries must be replaced.
• “AAA” alkaline batteries or equivalent are suitable for this blood pressure meter.
Attaching the Wrist Cuff
and Posture During
Measurement
• The blood pressure is measured at the wrist.
Therefore, rolling up the sleeve is no longer
necessary.
• Wrap the wrist cuff around your left wrist with
the display panel on the inside of the wrist.
• Pull the wrist cuff to fit wrist size and fasten
velcro.
Wrist circumference: 5.4-9in.
Rest left elbow on a table so that the cuff is at
heart level. Relax the lower arm across the table
and remain still.
Perform measurements in either a seated or
reclining posture with the left palm turned
upward. The hard carry case should be used as
an arm rest, with rubber grips facing down
against the table.
