CAUTION!
This device has left our premises in perfect condition. In order to maintain this condition
and to ensure safe and reliable operation, it is necessary for the user to follow the safety
instructions and warning notes written in this manual.
Never use this device in a wet area or expose to water. Doing so may result in damage
to the unit or physical injury to the operator.
If power linking, do not connect more than 4 fixtures together as this will result in
blowing the fuse in the first light. More than 5 units can be powered off the same voltage
line with the use of an outlet strip by running the power cord from several units to the
power strip and then connecting no more than 4 additional units in series using the
power in, power outs of the lights. If a fuse should blow, replace it with the same exact
type. The Fuse is located in the power plug socket. Use a flat edge standard
screwdriver to gently lift the plastic tab with the picture of a fuse on it.
Do not open the lights or in any way alter the light or wires as this will void your
warrantee. If there is ever a problem with your unit, contact Lumin Lights and one of our
friendly staff will assist you with repairs or replacements.
.
IMPORTANT!
Do not throw out, destroy, rip, mark up, write on, cut or modify the box and packing materials. If you ever need to ship your unit back for repairs or replacement, the unit must be shipped back in the original box with all packing material and accessories. Failure to do so can result in damage to the unit during shipping and will void your warrantee. Any units being returned without all original packaging and accessories or whose packaging and accessories have been damaged, lost, modified or in any other way not in original sellable condition will be subject to a 20% restocking fee. SAVE YOUR BOXES OR AT LEAST A FEW OF THEM FOR
REPAIRS AND RETURNS.

To replace the battery:
1. Remove the 4 screws from the battery compartment door and remove the door which
will have the battery attached to it.
2. Remove the 2 screws that are in the middle of the battery compartment door on each
side to remove the hold down bracket.
3. Next unclip the battery wire connector and connect the new battery.
4. Replace the battery hold down bracket by using 2 screws and then place the battery
back into the fixture.
5. Finally, replace the 4 screws on the battery compartment door.
Note: These units use a Lithium Ion battery and to avoid having the batteries explode
from over charging, the unit employs trickle technology. The unit will charge the battery
up to 100% and then drain it down to 90% and then charge it back up to 100%. It will keep
repeating this cycle as long as the unit is plugged in and charging.

8. DMX Channel Mode:
The DMX channel mode means how many channels will the light operate in and what particular functions of the light will be controlled on each channel. This unit has either a 4 channel mode or a 7 channel mode. (Refer to the DMX chart for
channel assignments in each mode). To set the DMX Channel Mode: A. Press the MENU button repeatedly until CHND shows on the display, then

USING THE BUILT-IN WIRELESS DMX FEATURE:
This unit comes equipped with a built in wireless DMX transmitter/Receiver operating on the
2.4 GHz frequency band. To activate the wires DMX, simply turn on the switch at the top of the unit and the LED which is right next to the switch will light up and either flash Red (if the light is set in MASTER mode), flash Green (if the unit is in Slave mode and receiving a DMX
signal) or stay lit a steady color (if it is in Slave mode but is not receiving a DMX signal).
There is a small black button on top near the DMX on/off switch and DMX LED indicator. Pressing that button will change the frequency and thus the DMX universe that the unit can send or receive on. There are 7 different Frequencies/Universes that the unit can operate on
and each on is defined by a different color on the LED indicator.
NOTE: If you are controlling 2 units wirelessly in Master/Slave mode, both units must be on the same color/Frequency/Universe in order to be able to communicate with each other. The same holds true if you are using one of our wireless DMX stick or box transmitters from your
lighting board or computer to send DMX signals to these units.
