LIGHTS & POWER: (Note all lights fixtures to be wired in series)
1) Identify dry, non-plenum location for IPC. Determine location & orientation of IPC and Break-Out
Modules. Note: Vertical orientation of IPC is best for cooling. Make sure Analog zone inputs are
visible and accessible. See page 6 of IPC specifications for optional acceptable orientations.
2) Run wires from the Break-Out Module locations directly to the fixture locations.
3) Mount IPC to board w/ #8 screws or self-tapping screws or in an approved enclosure.Use approved
plenum enclosure if unit is located in plenum.
4) With typical 115Vac input, IPC consumes 2.7 amps. Standard 15 amp breaker can accommodate up
to 4 IPCs and a 20 amp breaker can accommodate up to 5 IPCs. If wiring only 4 or 5 IPCs, consider
powering from two separate circuits for redundancy.
Note: 115Vac = 2.7 Amps, 240 Vac = 1.1 A & 227 Vac = 1.0 A.
5) Provide service disconnect switch for IPCs if not in close proximity to electrical panel or as required
per code.
6) Provide line-voltage power to IPC and wire as specified on page 7 of IPC installation manual.
(Black to Line, White to Neutral & Green to Ground.)
7) Select Master control or up to 4 zones of analog control. See Analog switch option diagrams.
8) Wire class 2 IPC wires to Break-Out Modules. See Detail B4.09, B4.12, B6.09 or B6.12. (Black is
always Negative.)
9) Wire fixture home runs to the Break-Out Modules. See Detail B4.09, B4.12, B6.09 or B6.12.
(Black is always Negative.)
10) Wire fixtures in series. Wire only two fixtures per channel, typ. See Detail A1 for wiring fixtures in
series.
11) If not using Master zone control, track which fixtures are on which zones on a plan or chart.
Note: For complete and more technical installation instructions refer to the LumaStream Intelligent
Power Center Application and Installation Manual included with each unit.

source from housing. Flip open one lever on each Wire Lever
Nut to disconnect wires.
and insert strain relief (not supplied) into hole. Flip open
Wire Lever Nut. Connect Class 2 constant current source:
Connect +Ve to RED. Connect –Ve to BLACK, by inserting
stripped wire into Wire Lever Nut. Close lever. OBSERVE
CORRECT POLARITY. Failure to do so will damage LED light
source. Replace Junction Box cover.
2. Extend bar hangers to fit between joists. Bar hanger foot aligns
with bottom of joist. Hammer pre-installed nails into joists.
When installing in drywall, cut 4-1/2” hole. If necessary, adjust
fixture for ceiling thickness by loosening hex screws then retighten.
