The equipment and cables must not be splashed by water. Do not place any recipients containing (such as vases or beverages) onto or next to the devices!
No fire sources (such as candles) should be placed onto or next to the device!
The wall outlet must be within easy reach and next to the place of use. Only use the supplied
power adapter. Do not place heavy objects on the cable or power supply. Position the cable so that it cannot obstruct or catch anyone. Always make sure there is sufficient ventilation of the power adapter.
Before stormy weather when there is the danger of lighting, disconnect the device from the power supply.
Never open the casing of the device, of the power adapter or other accessories: there are no serviceable parts! If the casing is opened, your life is in danger due to electric shock. Do not
use the device if the casing is damaged. If this happens, it must first be examined by a
technical expert. If you notice any smoke, unusual noise or strange smells, switch off the
device immediately and pull the plug from the power supply. Contact customer service. It is
very dangerous to continue using this device under these conditions. Disconnect the power
supply immediately if liquid gets into the device and seek the help of customer service or a technical expert.

The iTunes App stor e will open automat ically to the iDock Speaker Applicatio n. Follow the on-screen ins truction to install the application. Once inst alled, you can start to use the GSIPDS1001 with the App

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Setting the clock and date manually
1.Press 12/24hr at the rear of the unit to choose 12/24 hr setting.
2.When 12 hr setting is chosen, AM/PM appears in the display along with the time.
3.Press TIM, thehourstarts to flash in the display.
4.Press SET +/- to adjust thehour.
5.Press ENTER to confirm thehoursetting,“minutestarts to flash.
6.Press repeatedly SET+/- and ENTER to set the minute.
7.Press and hold TIME, theyyyystarts to flash in the display. Press SET+ / - to set the year and ENTER to exist.
8.Set themm”,“dd”like Step 7 to set the month and day respectively. Press ENTER to exist.
Note: When iPhone is docked with App activated, the time and date settings in App will override the original settings in the unit.
Setting the Clock and Date by APP
1.Initiate the iDockSpeaker App in the iPhone/ iPod Touch
2.PRESS Loca te Me t o update the tim e/ date informati on automaticall y
3.Once set, dock the iPhone into the unit with the App on.
4.Current time, date is synchronized and displayed into the unit automatically.
Tip s:Go to the setting page in the App to select 12/24 hour made,and turn on/off of the time flash colon.

1.Press a nd Ho ld ALAR M, Alarm 1 “hour' f lashes in the un it.
2.Press S ET +/- to adjust a ndhour”.
3.Press E NTER to confir m thehoursetting, “m inutestarts t o fla sh.
4.Press r epe atedly SE T + / - and ENTER to s et th e minute. Wake-to sourc e BUZ/ I P/ FMstarts to fla sh
5.Wake-t o source: BUZ/IP/ FM (Buz zer/ i Pod/FM) flashes i n the u nit by pressin g SET+/- to a dju st. Pres s ENTER to co nfirm setting.
6.When Alarm 1 is s et, press AL A RM again to set Al arm 2. Or pres s 2 tim es ALAR M to enter the Ala rm 2 setting.
7.Repea t the s tep 2-5 to set the A larm 2.

Setting the Alarm by APP
1.Initiate the iDockSpeaker App in the iPhone.
2.Go to the alarm setting in the iDockSpeaker App to select alarm 1 and alarm 2 setting.
3.The iDockSpeaker App allow you to set the wake up song from iPhone playlist. If no wake up
song is selected in the alarm setting, the App will shuffle a song from the playlist.
4.Once set, dock the iPhone into the unit with the App on.
5.Alarm setting is set and displayed into the unit automatically.
Note: When App is activated and the unit is in standby mode, App wake up song is the only wake-to source.

Listening to iP hone/iPod
1.Before docking the iPhone/ iPod on, plea se choose the correct cra dle to match your model of iPod/iPho ne if the wrong cradle is chosen th is might affect playback and ch arging.
2.PUSH OPEN th e docking tray and pull it all the way out, dock the iPhone/iPod into the unit with the co rrect cradle.
3.iPhone/iPod is docked, iPhone/iPod input sou rce will be set as priority sourc e. iPhone appea rs in the display.
4.If iPhone/iPod is in standby mode, press P OWER to turn on the iPhone/iPod
5.Choose the songs from the iPho ne/iPod to play; or press PLAY/PAUSE to play the mus ic.
6.Adjust the volume by pressin g VOLUME +/ - on top of the unit.
7.Press >> and << in the front panel to skip t rack.
Using the Alarm
1.When alarm is sounding, pre ss SNOOZE/DIMMER t o turn off the sound. Alarm sound s again after 10 m inutes
2.When alarm is sounding, pre ss ALARM RE SET to reset the alarm for th e next day.
3.Press ALARM to turn o n/off the alarm setting. Alarm icon disappears when a larm is turned off.
Listening to Radio
Tuning by the unit
1.Press INPUT to se lect the FM input mode, “FMappear s in the display.
2.Press and hold SET +/- to scan the FM stations.
3.Press SET +/- to adjust the steps of the stations.
4.Once station is selected, p ress and hold DISPLAY/ MEM ORY until P01 appears in the display .
5.Press SET +/- aga in to select the preset number, t hen press DISPL AY/MEMO RY to store.
6.To list en to the radio, press PR ESET to select a pres et station.
No te: To increase the reception sen sitivity, plea se extend the FM wire fully. No te: The FM frequency dis play is raised or lowered by a step of 0.1MHz. For example ,
frequency b etween 88.00 to 88.05MH z will be displayed as" 88.0MHz”.
Tuning by APP
1.Dock the iPhone/iPod into the dock, and lau nch the iDockSpeaker A PP on your iPhone/iPod Touch.
2.Choose the FM ticker in the APP , FM input appears on GSIPDS 1001 d isplay.
3.Press AUTO to scan the FM stations automatical ly, auto scanned stations wi ll be preset in the 20 memor y s tations.
4.Or turn the Station Scroll to se lect your desired station. Press S AVE to s tore the FM station in your desire d memor y location.
5.Press preset stations by M1-M20, and the u nit will be tuned and display the r elevant station.
Tips: Other than auto scan ning in App, you may also fin e tune the FM steps manually through the u nit or App. Both the unit and A pp display will show the tu ning status at the same time.

Using the Audio - in jack
You can play the MP3 player or portab le audio device through t he GSIPDS1001 via the Audio-i n jack.
1.Connect the AUDIO IN jack at t he back of the unit to the line out jac k or headphone jack of the exte rnal audio device using t he audio cable( incl uded)
2.Press INPUT to select “AUX” m ode. Display will show “AUX”
3.Play the music from the external audio d evice.
4.Adjust the volume by pressing VOLUME +/-
Using the Sleep m ode
Sleep mode let s you to sleep to your iPhone /iPod or radio, gradually lowering the volume until the unit shuts off at the selected time.
1.Press and ho ld SLEEP to set t he sleep timer. Press SE T+/- to adjust the sl eep time. Press E NTER to confirm the s etting
2.When Sleep ti me is set, “ZZZ” appears in the d isplay.
3.Press SLEEP to view the preset sleep time in the lower displ ay.
4.To stop listeni ng at any time, press the P OWER to turn unit off .
Viewing the DATE /Alar m 1 /Alar m 2 setting
1.When iPhone/iPod to uch is docked into the unit with APP open, weather infor mation appears in the low er display.
2.Press DISPL AY/M EMORY each to view the preset DATE, Alarm 1, A larm 2 in sequence. Press again t o back to the weather display.
3.When APPS is not in use, preset DATE w ill appear in the lower display b y default. Press DISPLAY/MEMORY each to view Alar m 1 , and Alarm 2 in sequence. Press again to back to the DATE display.
Using the DIMME R
During normal operation, press the S NOOZE/DIMMER to contro l the brightness of the LCD display. Press once to dim the displ ay, press a second time have no dis play and the press ag ain to bring up the full display.

TROUBLESHOOTING
In case of malfunction, please turn off the system immediately and check the unit according to following table. If the problem still pesists, please contact the retailer or the manufacturer.

Volume level too low
- Make sure your iPod is correctly docked in the GSIPDS1001 system
- Press "Volume" button on the panel and check the volume on the iPod/iPhone that is dock
- Make sure your iPod video or audio device is on, and a track is selected for playback
- Make sure your iPod is running with the most updated Apple software. For details visit. Http://www.apple.com/ipod/download
- Remove the iPod from the dock, wait for 5 seconds, and return it to the dock.Unplug the power cable for 1 minute, then plug it back to reset the system
