Surface Box (for gang-size devices)
Description:
P1X-series surface backboxes are ideal for mounting a variety of
gang size devices like intercoms, wall plates and devices. Construction is 20-gauge steel with a durable white powder epoxy finish. All models are 4.625”H and 2.5”D.
Model P1X: fits standard 1-gang device including Lowell’s S1 and
A1 blank wall plates, MCP1-series wall plates with connectors,
and LVC-series volume controls. The box is 2.875” wide. Includes
4 knockouts and 2 U-clips.
Model P1X-2: fits standard 2-gang device including Lowell’s S2
and A2 blank wall plates, MCP-series wall plates with connectors,
and ANP-1 with volume control scale. The box is 4.625”W. Includes 5 knockouts and 4 U-clips.
Model P1X-3: fits Lowell 3-gang devices and has 5 knockouts.
Mounting centers are not standard for 3-gang devices. The box
is 6.437”W. Includes 4 U-clips.
