The most economical cost-efficient rack in its class, the
LFR provides solid support for electronics with added
flexibility for rear-mounted equipment and accessories.
Construction & Features
• Frame: Fully welded 16-ga. steel with 14-ga. base,
reinforced at load-bearing junctions. Overall height is
83.125”. Useable depth is 24.25”.
• Front: Open front with beveled corners and vents
above and below main opening. Clearance from rails
to outside frame (flush) is 1.75.” A surface-mount front
door is available as an option (pg. 3).
• Rear Door: Includes recessed rear door with vents
and key lock.
• Open Top: The 7U opening includes rails tapped 10-32
and can be closed using the two solid steel panels included as shipping stiffeners. Optional 19”W accessories can also be mounted here.
• Open Base: Includes grounding stud and center open-
ing for cable entry. Readily accepts optional mobile
base, stationary base, leg levelers, or anchor bolts (not
included).
• Welded Side Panels: Vents at top and bottom.
• Mounting Rails: Includes 1 pr. fixed position front
mounting rails tapped 10-32 with printed rack unit increments for quick set-up. Rear brackets accommodate
optional rear rails (adjustable).
• Cable Management: Combination knockouts above
and below rear door.
• Thermal Management: Vents on rack top, side panels
and rear door will accept optional single fan kit or rear
door fan panel. (pg. 3)
• UL Listed (UL2416): Load capacity 2000 lbs.
• Compliance: EIA/TIA compliant
• Finish: Black wrinkle powder epoxy
• Hardware Pilot Point screws with captive washers.

A&E Specifications
The stand alone floor rack shall be Lowell Model No.
LFR-4427. Overall measurements shall be 83.125”H x
27”D x 23.06”W with panel space of 44 rack units. Load
capacity shall be 2000 lbs. The rack shall include a recessed rear door with vents and key lock, welded side
panels with vents, 7U top opening that can be closed with
the included shipping stiffener panels, open base with
grounding stud, one pair fixed-position front mounting
rails with printed RU increments, combination knockouts
above and below rear door, and provisions to mount optional rear rails or optional surface-mount front door. The
rack shall be manufactured in the U.S.A. with certified
U.S. steel and have a black wrinkle powder epoxy finish.
