The LER enclosed or stand-alone oor rack offers solid structural support for
electronics. Includes rear door. Front door is optional (order separately).
Construction & Features
• Frame: Fully welded 16-ga. steel with 14-ga. base, reinforced at load-bear-
ing junctions for strength equivalent to 11-ga. steel. Overall height is 83.125”
(44U useable). Overall depth is 22” (19.34” useable).
• Front: Open front with beveled corners and vents above and below main
opening. Clearance from rails to outside frame (ush) is 1.75.” A surface-mount front door is available as an option (pg. 3).
• Rear: Includes recessed rear door with vents and key lock. Door can be
omitted by ordering Model No. LER-4422-LRD. Combination knockout panels above and below rear door include .5” for wireless antennas, .75-.5” and
1.5-1” for conduit. A blank project panel is located below rear door.
• Top: Features 7U opening with riveted rails, taped 10-32, which can be
closed with 2 black steel panels included as shipping stiffeners. Optional
19” accessories can also be mounted here. The top also features a 6”D rear
plane with 3 combination knockouts for conduit (2-1”), 2 for conduit (1.5-1”)
plus room to use a Greenlee style punch for 4” conduit. Four .5” knockouts
for BNC style wireless antennas.
• Open Base: 14-ga. steel frame with full size opening facilitates oor entry
of cables. The base has provisions to readily accept mounting an optional
mobile or stationary platform base or leg levelers (pg. 3), as well as anchor
bolts (not included). Includes grounding stud in one corner.
• Welded Side Panels: Vents at top and bottom are designed to accept op-
tional fan kits (pg. 3)
• Adjustable Rails: Includes 1 pr. front mounting rails tapped 10-32 with
printed rack unit increments for quick set-up. Rails are fully adjustable and
can be set anywhere along side rail supports. Rear rails are optional (pg. 3).
• Cable Management: Combination knockouts above and below rear door.
• Thermal Management: Vents in sides, and rear door are made to accept
optional fan kits (pg. 3)
• Load Capacity: 3150 lbs.
• Compliance: EIA/TIA/RoHS compliant, UL2416 Listed
• Finish: Black wrinkle powder epoxy
• Hardware: Pilot Point screws with captive washers.

A&E Specifications
The EIA/TIA/RoHS compliant, stand-alone oor rack shall be Lowell Model No.
LER-4422. Overall measurements shall be 83.125”H x 22”D x 23.06”W with
panel space of 44 rack units. Load capacity shall be 3150 lbs. The rack shall
include a recessed rear door with vents and key lock, welded side panels with
vents, top with 7U opening and combination knockouts, open base with grounding stud, one pair adjustable front mounting rails with printed RU increments,
combination knockouts above and below rear door, and provisions to mount an
optional surface-mount front door or rear rails (ordered separately). The rack
shall be manufactured in the U.S.A. with certied U.S. steel and have a black
wrinkle powder epoxy nish. It shall be UL Listed to UL2416.
