Stereo Volume Control Attenuator (wall-plate or adhesive label)
Description
Lowell’s LVCS-series stereo volume controls are easy-to-install controls
that provide precise level adjustment of stereo speaker lines. Units are
50W and include choice of standard or Decora®-style wall plate, or an
adhesive label for custom applications. The volume controls mount within
a single gang E.O. box with a minimum depth requirement of 2.5". They
have easy-to-connect, phoenix-style plug-in screw termination strips for
pre-wire convenience with wire capacity up to 14-gauge. Attenuation is
3dB per step.
• Standard Wall Plate: one-piece plate in brushed stainless steel or
white plastic.
• Decora-style Wall Plate: two-piece plastic plate or stainless steel
with plastic sub-plate (black or white).
• Adhesive Label: instead of a plate, this model features an adhesive
dial scale with clear label area for custom applications.

• Rackmount Panels: Model D8P-ID-3 is a (3U) punched panel for in-
stallation of up to 8 Decora-style controls. Model LVC8P-ID-2 is a (2U)
punched panel for installation of up to 8 standard controls.
A & E Specifications
Volume control for stereo applications shall be Lowell Model________
with a power rating 50W and attenuation per step of 3dB. Plate style shall
be (standard one-piece stainless steel, one-piece plastic, Decora®-style
two-piece plastic, Decora-style two-piece stainless steel with plastic subplate, or rackmount with adhesive label). Plate color shall be _______
(brushed stainless, white, black, stainless/white, stainless/black). Controls
shall mount in an E.O. box with a minimum inside dimension of 1.875"W
x 3.00"H x 2.50"D.
