This product has been evaluated to determine their volume and energy
consumption.
This file authorizes the UL Energy Verification Mark. Another file, as
referenced below, authorizes the UL Listing Mark. It should be noted that
the Listing file and the Energy Verification file are independent and
compliance in one file does not indicate compliance in the other file. When
evaluating construction changes, additional consideration should be given to
how this change may effect compliance with UL 250 and the Listing file.
The nominal volume of Model BCD-90-E is 90 liters (3.2 cu. Ft.)
The unit has a fresh food compartment for storage of food at an average
temperature above 32 F (0 C) and a compartment designed for the freezing and
storage of frozen foods at temperatures of 8F (-13.3C) average or below.
The unit has partial automatic defrost. Anti-sweat heaters are not provided.
The unit employs a static condenser and a static evaporator. Freezer
compartment temperatures are adjustable by user operable controls.

CRF = dimensionless adjustment factor of 1.76 for Electric Refrigerator-Freezers (10 CFR, Part
430, Subpart B, App. A, Par. 6.1).

ENERGY USE:
Annual Energy Consumption calculated per 10 CFR, Part 430, Subpart B, App. A.
+ - This is the energy consumption declared by the manufacturer. When
*tested per 10 CFR, Part 430, Subpart B, App. A, for this model the energy consumption was
approximately 263 kW-hr/Year with compressor B43C5B ,257 kW-hr/Year with compressor L48C5L ,
188kW-hr/Year with compressor MG1070HY and 270kW-hr/Year with compressor TK48C5.
++ – The maximum allowable energy use (kW-hr/Year) is based on the equations found in 10 CFR,
Chapter 2, Subpart C, Section 430.32 for Type 12. Compact refrigerator-freezers—partial automatic
defrost. For this model the maximum allowable energy use is calculated from the equation 5.91AV +
335.8, where AV is the total adjusted volume of the unit expressed in cubic feet. For this model
the maximum allowable energy use is 359 kW-hr/Year.
