General characteristics for NFPA handle
The GMX61 NFPA lever handle complies with the requirements of the North American NFPA79 standard. This standard requires that the switch disconnector can be operated without accessories or tools whether the door is closed or open. In case of operation with an open door, a device is integrated into the GMX61 NFPA handle to prevent it from being activated unless a voluntary action is taken to unlock it.
