SAFETY PRECAUTIONS AND WARNINGS

As the user of this product, you are solely responsible for operating in a manner that does not endanger yourself and others or result in damage to the product or property of others.

This model is controlled by a radio signal subject to interference from many sources outside your control. This interference can cause momentary loss of control, so it is advisable to always keep a safe distance in all directions around your model as this margin will help avoid collisions or injury.

• Never operate your model with low transmitter batteries.

• Always operate your model in open spaces away from full-size vehicles, traffic and people.

• Never operate the model in the street or in populated areas for any reason.

• Carefully follow the directions and warnings for this and any optional support equipment (chargers, rechargeable battery packs, etc.) you use.

• Keep all chemicals, small parts and anything electrical out of the reach of children.

• Never lick or place any portion of the model in your mouth as it could cause serious injury or even death.

• Exercise caution when using tools and sharp instruments.

• Take care during maintenance as some parts may have sharp edges.

• Immediately after using your model, do NOT touch equipment such as the motor, electronic speed control and battery, because they generate high temperatures. You may burn yourself seriously touching them.

• Do not put fingers or any objects inside rotating and moving parts, as this may cause damage or serious injury.

• Always turn on your transmitter before you turn on the receiver in the car. Always turn off the receiver before turning your transmitter off.

• Keep the wheels of the model off the ground when checking the operation of the radio equipment.

WATER-RESISTANT VEHICLE WITH WATERPROOF ELECTRONICS

Your new Horizon Hobby vehicle has been designed and built with a combination of waterproof and water-resistant components to allow you to operate the product in many “wet conditions,” including puddles, creeks, wet grass, snow and even rain.

While the entire vehicle is highly water-resistant, it is not completely waterproof and your vehicle should NOT be treated like a submarine. The various electronic components used in the vehicle, such as the Electronic Speed Control (ESC), servo(s) and receiver are waterproof, however, most of the mechanical components are water-resistant and should not be submerged.

Metal parts, including the bearings, hinge pins, screws and nuts, as well as the contacts in the electrical cables, will be susceptible to corrosion if additional maintenance is not performed after running in wet conditions. To maximize the longterm performance of your vehicle and to keep the warranty intact, the procedures described in the “Wet Conditions Maintenance” section below must be performed regularly if you choose to run in wet conditions. If you are not willing to perform the additional care and maintenance required, then you should not operate the vehicle in those conditions.

CAUTION: Failure to exercise caution

while using this product and complying with the following precautions could result in product malfunction and/or void the warranty.

GENERAL PRECAUTIONS

• Read through the wet conditions maintenance

procedures and verify you have all the tools you need to properly maintain the vehicle.

• Not all batteries can be used in wet conditions.

Consult the battery manufacturer before use. Caution should be taken when using Li-Po batteries in wet conditions.

• Most transmitters are not water-resistant.

Consult your transmitter’s manual or the manufacturer before operation.

• Never operate the transmitter or vehicle where

lightning may be present.

• Do not operate your vehicle where it could

come in contact with salt water (ocean water or water on salt-covered roads), contaminated or polluted water. Salt water is very conductive and highly corrosive, so use caution.

• Even minimal water contact can reduce the

life of your motor if it has not been certified as water-resistant or waterproof. If the motor becomes excessively wet, apply very light

throttle until the water is mostly removed from the motor. Running a wet motor at high speeds may rapidly damage the motor.

• Driving in wet conditions can reduce the life of the motor. The additional resistance of operating in water causes excess strain. Alter the gear ratio by using a smaller pinion or larger spur gear. This will increase torque (and motor life) when running in mud, deeper puddles, or any wet conditions that will increase the load on the motor for an extended period of time.

WET CONDITIONS MAINTENANCE

• Drain any water that has collected in the tires by spinning them at high speed. With the body removed, place the vehicle upside down and pull full throttle for a few short bursts until the water has been removed.

CAUTION: Always keep hands, ﬁngers,

tools and any loose or hanging objects away from rotating parts when performing the above drying technique.

• Remove the battery pack(s) and dry the con-

tacts. If you have an air compressor or a can of

compressed air, blow out any water that may be inside the recessed connector housing.

• Remove the tires/wheels from the vehicle and gently rinse the mud and dirt off with a garden hose. Avoid rinsing the bearings and transmission.

NOTICE: Never use a pressure washer to clean your vehicle.

• Use an air compressor or a can of compressed air to dry the vehicle and help remove any water that may have gotten into small crevices or corners.

• Spray the bearings, drive train, fasteners and other metal parts with a water-displacing light oil. Do not spray the motor.

• Let the vehicle air dry before you store it. Water (and oil) may continue to drip for a few hours.

• Increase the frequency of disassembly, inspection and lubrication of the following:

» Front and rear axle hub assembly bearings » All transmission cases, gears and differentials. » Motor—clean with an aerosol motor cleaner

and re-oil the bushings with lightweight motor oil.

WARNING: Failure to exercise caution

while using this product and comply with the following warnings could result in product malfunction, electrical issues, excessive heat, FIRE, and ultimately injury and property damage.

• NEVER LEAVE CHARGING BATTERIES UNAT-

TENDED DURING USE.

• NEVER CHARGE BATTERIES OVERNIGHT.

• The power supply must deliver power at Safety

Extra Low Voltage (SELV).

• Never attempt to charge dead, damaged or wet

battery packs.

• Never attempt to charge a battery pack con-

taining different types of batteries.

• Never allow children under 14 years of age to

charge battery packs.

• Never charge batteries in extremely hot or cold

places or place in direct sunlight.

• Never charge a battery if the cable has been

pinched or shorted.

• Never connect the charger if the power cable

has been pinched or shorted.

• Never connect the charger to an automobile

12V battery while the vehicle is running.

• Never attempt to dismantle the charger or use a damaged charger.

• Never attach your charger to both an AC and a DC power source at the same time.

• Never connect the input jack (DC input) to AC power.

• Always use only rechargeable batteries designed for use with this type of charger in the correct programming mode.

• Always inspect the battery before charging.

• Always keep the battery away from any material that could be affected by heat.

• Always monitor the charging area and have a fire extinguisher available at all times.Always end the charging process if the battery becomes hot to the touch or starts to change form (swell) during the charge process.

• Always connect the charge cable to the charger first, then connect the battery to avoid short circuit between the charge leads. Reverse the sequence when disconnecting.

• Always connect the positive red leads (+) and negative black leads (–) correctly.

• Always disconnect the battery after charging, and let the charger cool between charges.

• Always charge in a well-ventilated area.

• Always terminate all processes and contact Horizon Hobby if the product malfunctions.

• Charge only rechargeable batteries. Charging non-rechargeable batteries may cause the batteries to burst, resulting in injury to persons and/or damage to property.

• The socket-outlet shall be installed near the equipment and shall be easily accessible.

CHARGE THE VEHICLE BATTERY

NOTICE: Inspect the battery to make sure it

is not damaged e.g., swollen, bent, broken or punctured. Charge only batteries that are cool to the touch and are not damaged.

Always charge the vehicle battery before driving.

1. Insert the charger into a USB port.

2. Connect the battery to the charger.

CHARGING (Solid Orange LED) MAX CHARGE (Solid Green LED)

Disconnect the battery from the charger immediately upon charging completion.

CAUTION: Only use chargers speciﬁcally

designed to charge the included Li-Po battery. Failure to do so could result in ﬁre,

causing injury or property damage.

WARNING: Never leave charger unat-

tended, exceed maximum charge rate, charge with non-approved batteries or charge batteries in the wrong mode. Failure to comply may result in excessive heat, ﬁre and serious injury.

CAUTION: Always ensure the battery you

are charging meets the speciﬁcations of this charger and that the charger settings are correct. Not doing so can result in excessive heat and other related product malfunctions, which can lead to user injury or property damage. Please contact Horizon Hobby or an authorized retailer with compatibility questions.

CAUTION: Once charging is complete,

immediately remove the battery.Never leave a battery connected to the charger.

CAUTION: Never exceed the recommend-

ed charge rate.

QUICK START

Please read the entire manual to gain a full understanding of the Losi® Micro-T, ﬁne-tuning the setup and performing maintenance.

1. Read the safety precautions found in this manual.

2. Charge a battery for the vehicle. Refer to the included charging warnings and instructions for battery charging information.

3. Install the AA batteries in the transmitter. Only use alkaline or rechargeable batteries.

4. Install the fully charged battery in the vehicle.

5. With the vehicle on a ﬂat surface, power ON the transmitter and then the vehicle. Before moving the vehicle, wait 5 seconds for the ESC/receiver to initialize. Always power the transmitter ON before the vehicle, and power it OFF after the vehicle has been powered OFF.

6. Check the steering and throttle control directions. Verify that the servos are moving in the correct direction.

7. Drive your vehicle.

8. Perform any necessary maintenance.

INSTALL THE TRANSMITTER BATTERIES

This transmitter requires 4 AA batteries.

1. Remove the battery cover from the transmitter.

2. Install the batteries as shown.

3. Install the battery cover.

CAUTION: NEVER remove the transmitter

batteries while the model is powered ON. Loss of model control, damage, or injury may occur.

CAUTION: Risk of explosion if battery is

replaced by an incorrect type. Dispose of used batteries according to national regulations.

TRANSMITTER FUNCTIONS

1. Steering Wheel Controls direction (left/right) of the model

2. Throttle Trigger Controls speed and direction (forward/brake/reverse) of the model

3. Power Button Turns the power on/o

4. Steering (ST-R) Servo Reversing Reverses the steering channel

5. Throttle Limit Limits throttle output to 50/75/100% Select 50% or 75% for less experienced drivers or when you are driving the vehicle in a small area

6. Indicator Lights

• Solid Red Light—Indicates radio connectiv- ity and adequate battery power

• Flashing Red Light—Indicates the battery voltage is critically low. Replace the batteries

7. Steering Rate Adjusts the steering end points

BINDING

Binding is the process of programming the receiver to recognize the GUID (Globally Unique Identiﬁer) code of a single speciﬁc transmitter. The transmit- ter and ESC/receiver are bound at the factory. If you need to rebind, follow the instructions below:

1. Connect a fully charged battery to the ESC/ receiver.

2. Power ON the ESC/receiver, holding the button for 3 seconds until the red light ﬂashes quickly.

3. Power ON the transmitter. The ESC/receiver’s red LED will turn solid when the bind is successful.

4. Power OFF the ESC/receiver to save the settings.

5. Power OFF the transmitter.

You must rebind when binding the receiver to a different transmitter.

NOTICE: Do not attempt to bind the transmitter and receiver if there are other compatible transmitters in bind mode within 400 feet. Doing so may result in unexpected binding.

DRIVING PRECAUTIONS

• Maintain sight of the vehicle at all times.

• Routinely inspect the vehicle for loose wheel

hardware.

• Routinely inspect the steering assembly for any

loose hardware. Driving the vehicle off-road can cause fasteners to loosen over time.

• Do not drive the vehicle in tall grass. Doing so

can damage the vehicle or electronics.

• Stop driving the vehicle when you notice a lack

of power. Driving the vehicle when the battery is discharged can cause the receiver to power off. If the receiver loses power, you will lose control of the vehicle. Damage due to an overdischarged Li-Po battery is not covered under warranty.

CAUTION: Do not discharge a Li-Po

battery below 3V per cell. Batteries discharged to a voltage lower than the lowest approved voltage may become damaged, resulting in loss of performance and potential ﬁre when batteries are charged.

• Do not apply forward or reverse throttle if the

vehicle is stuck. Applying throttle in this instance can damage the motor or ESC.

• After driving the vehicle, allow the electronics

to cool before driving the vehicle again.

IMPORTANT: Keep wires away from all moving parts.

PERFORMING A CONTROL DIRECTION TEST

Perform a control test with the vehicle wheels o the ground. If the wheels rotate after the vehicle is powered ON, adjust the ST Trim knob until they stop. To make the wheels move forward, pull the trigger. To reverse them, wait for the wheels to stop, then push the trigger. When moving forward, the wheels should maintain a straight line without any steering wheel input. If not, adjust the ST Trim knob, so the wheels maintain a straight line without having to turn the steering wheel.

BEFORE RUNNING THE VEHICLE

1. Check for free suspension movement. All suspension arms and steering components should move freely. Any binds will cause the vehicle to handle poorly.

2. Charge a battery pack. Always charge the battery pack as per the battery and/or charger manufacturers’ instructions.

3. Check the wheel nuts to ensure they are not loose.

4. Set the transmitter steering trim. Follow the instructions to set the steering trim/subtrim so that the vehicle drives straight with no input to the steering.

5. Perform a Control Direction Test.

IMPORTANT: Check for any binding in the drivetrain and conﬁrm that the vehicle moves freely.

INSTALLING THE BATTERY AND POWERING ON THE VEHICLE

IMPORTANT: The vehicle MUST remain on a ﬂat, level surface and

motionless for at least 5 seconds. IMPORTANT: Keep wires away from all moving parts.

1. Center the TH TRIM dial on the transmitter.

2. Remove the body, lifting it from the chassis.

3. Install a fully charged battery in the vehicle.

4. Secure the battery with the plastic battery restraint.

5. Power ON the transmitter.

6. Connect the battery to the ESC/receiver.

IMPORTANT: Secure the ESC wires so they do not interfere with the drive shaft.

7. Power ON the ESC/receiver.

8. Reinstall the body, securring it with the included hook and loop tab.

RUN TIME

The largest factor in run time is the capacity of the battery pack. A larger mAh rating increases the run time.

The condition of a battery pack is also an important factor in both run time and speed. The battery connectors may become hot during driving. Batteries will lose performance and capacity over time.

Driving the vehicle from a stop to full speed repeatedly will damage the batteries and electronics over time. Sudden acceleration will also lead to shorter run times.

POWERING OFF THE VEHICLE

1. Power OFF the ESC.

2. Power OFF the transmitter.

3. Remove and charge the batteries.

IMPORTANT: Keep wires away from all moving parts. After driving the vehicle, allow the electronics to cool before driving the vehicle again.

TO IMPROVE RUN TIMES

• Keep your vehicle clean and well maintained.

• Allow more airflow to the ESC and motor.

• Change the gearing to a lower ratio. A lower ratio decreases the operating temperature of the electronics. Use a smaller pinion gear or larger spur gear to lower the gear ratio.

• Use a battery pack with a higher mAh rating.

• Use the optimum charger to charge battery packs. Visit your local hobby dealer for more information.

TUNING, ADJUSTING AND MAINTAINING THE VEHICLE

• Examine your vehicle on a regular basis.

• Use a brush to remove dirt and dust.

• Look for damage to the suspension arms and other molded parts.

• Re-glue the tires to the wheels, if necessary.

• Use suitable tools to tighten fasteners.

• Make sure the camber and steering linkages are not bent. Replace any bent linkages.

• Remove the shocks and inspect them for damage. Rebuild the shocks if oil is leaking.

• Inspect electronics and batteries for exposed wires. Repair exposed wires with shrink-wrap or replace the wire.

• Make sure the ESC / receiver are secure on the chassis.

• Power on your transmitter. If the light is flashing, replace the batteries in the transmitter.

• Check the spur gear for wear.

If any problems other than those covered in the troubleshooting section arise, please call the appropriate electronics service department. They will be able to give the problem additional speciﬁc attention and provide instructions for the solution.

MAINTENANCE

If any questions other than those covered in the troubleshooting or maintenance sections arise, please call the appropriate Horizon product support department.

CLEANING

Performance can be hindered if dirt gets in any of the moving suspension parts. Use compressed air, a soft paintbrush, or a toothbrush to remove dust or dirt. Avoid using solvents or chemicals as they can actually wash dirt into the bearings or moving parts, as well as cause damage to the electronics.

SHOCK CLEANING

Rear

Front

Oil-ﬁlled shocks will require regular maintenance due to the oil breaking down or getting dirty. This maintenance should be performed after about every 3–5 hours of use, depending on the driving conditions.

• Remove the shock from the vehicle.

• Remove the shock cap from the shock body and dispose of fluid.

• Disassemble the shock. Clean thoroughly with a plastic- and electronic-safe degreaser (DYNE50001). Dry parts before assembly.

• Re-assemble the shock and refill the shock body with silicone fluid (22.5 weight recommended, TLR74003).

• Slowly move the shaft and piston up and down to remove air bubbles.

• Move the piston to the midway point of the body and install the shock cap.

• Wipe off any overflowing fluid.

• Re-install the shock on the vehicle.

RIDE HEIGHT ADJUSTMENT

Ride height is an adjustment that aects the way the vehicle jumps, turns and goes over bumps. Drop one end of the vehicle from approximately 6 inches (152 mm) in height onto a ﬂat surface. When dropping the front of the vehicle, after the vehicle settles, make sure the front arms are equal and parallel to the ﬂat surface. Do the same with the rear to make sure both arms are parallel with the ﬂat surface.

Lowering the front ride height increases steering, but decreases traction. Lowering the rear ride height increases traction, but decreases steering.

PROGRAMMING

RUNNING MODE SETTING

The system supports switching between F-B-R (Forward-Brake-Reverse) and F-R (Forward and Reverse) modes. The default is F-B-R mode.

1. With the ESC / receiver powered ON, press and hold the button for 3 seconds. The ESC indicator ﬂashes slowly at 1 second intervals.

2. Release the button. The system switches between F-B-R and F-R. The system then prompts the user according to the current operating mode.

• F-R Mode: The ESC indicator flashes twice, accompanied by the motor buzzing.

• F-B-R Mode: The ESC indicator flashes once, accompanied by the motor buzzing.

DRAG BRAKE/BRAKE LEVEL SETTING

1. With the ESC / receiver powered ON, press and hold the button for 6 seconds. The ESC indicator ﬂashes twice quickly, then turns OFF.

2. Release the button. The system enters the Drag Brake/Brake Level Setting mode.

POWERING ON / OFF

• To power ON the ESC / receiver, hold the button for 1 second. The LED stays ON.

• To power OFF the ESC / receiver, hold button for 1 second. The LED turns OFF.

Drag Brake is adjusted if in F-R Mode. Brake or Push Brake is adjusted if in F-B-R Mode.. The number of LED ﬂashes and motor sounds represents the current level of drag braking strength. There are 5 levels of braking strength (0%, 25%, 50%, 75%, 100%), which are adjustable in cycles. The default is level 1, brake strength 0%.

3. In the Drag Brake Level Setting mode, press the

button. The drag brake strength level increases by one level. NOTE: The number of ﬂashes represents the drag brake strength level.

4. To exit the Drag Brake Level Setting mode,

power OFF the ESC. Press and hold the button for 3 seconds. Wait for the ESC indicator light to go out, then release the button to close the system.

5. Power ON the ESC / receiver to use the new

drag brake setting.

CALIBRATION PROCEDURE

Use the SLT2 to adjust steering (ST/CH1) left/right travel endpoint and throttle (TH/CH2) forward/ backward travel endpoint.

1. Turn and hold the transmitter steering wheel to the right. At the same time, push and hold the throttle trigger forward. Press the transmitter power button. The red transmitter LED ﬂashes rapidly, indicating the EPA setting state.

2. Release the transmitter steering wheel and throttle trigger to neutral.

3. Turn and hold the transmitter steering wheel to the left. At the same time, turn the Steering Rate (SR) knob clockwise/counterclockwise to add/reduce the left steering endpoint.

4. Release the transmitter steering wheel to neutral.

5. Turn and hold the transmitter steering wheel to the right. At the same time, turn the Steering Rate (SR) knob clockwise/counterclockwise to add/reduce the right steering endpoint.

6. Release the transmitter steering wheel to neutral. NOTE: If you only want to adjust steering EPA, power OFF the transmitter and turn the Steering Rate (SR) knob clockwise to its max position. ST EPA will set OK. If you also want to adjust the throttle EPA, proceed to Step 7.

7. Verify the throttle limit switch is at 100%.

8. Pull and hold the transmitter throttle trigger to its max backward position. Turn the Steering Rate (SR) knob clockwise/counterclockwise to add/reduce the forward throttle endpoint.

9. Release the transmitter throttle trigger to neutral. Turn the Steering Rate (SR) knob clockwise to its max position.

10. Push and hold the transmitter throttle trigger to its max forward position. Turn the Steering Rate (SR) knob clockwise/counterclockwise to add/ reduce throttle.

11. Release the transmitter throttle trigger to nature position.

12. Power OFF the transmitter.

13. Turn the Steering Rate (SR) knob clockwise to its max position.

RESTORING FACTORY SETTINGS

To restore the factory settings:

1. Turn and hold the transmitter steering wheel to the left. At the same time, push and hold the throttle trigger forward. Press the transmitter power button. The red transmitter LED ﬂashes 4 times, indicating the factory setting is restored.

2. Release the transmitter steering wheel and throttle trigger. The red transmitter LED glows solid, indicating the factory setting restoration is complete.

What This Warranty Covers – Horizon Hobby,

LLC, (Horizon) warrants to the original purchaser that the product purchased (the “Product”) will be free from defects in materials and workmanship at the date of purchase.

What is Not Covered – This warranty is not transferable and does not cover (i) cosmetic damage, (ii) damage due to acts of God, accident, misuse, abuse, negligence, commercial use, or due to improper use, installation, operation or maintenance, (iii) modiﬁcation of or to any part of the Product, (iv) attempted service by anyone other than a Horizon Hobby authorized service center, (v) Product not purchased from an authorized Horizon dealer, or (vi) Product not compliant with applicable technical regulations or (vii) use that violates any applicable laws, rules, or regulations.

WASSERFESTES FAHRZEUG MIT SPRITZWASSERGESCHÜTZER ELEKTRONIK

Ihr neues Horizon Hobby Fahrzeug wurde mit einer Kombination von wasserfesten und spritzwassergeschützen Komponenten ausgestattet, die den Betrieb des Fahrzeuges unter nassen Bedingungen inklusive Pfützen, Bächen, nassem Gras, Schnee oder sogar Regen ermöglichen.

Obwohl das Fahrzeug sehr wasserfest ausgelegt ist, ist es nicht vollständig wasserdicht und sollte NICHT wie ein U-Boot behandelt werden. Die verschiedenen elektronischen Komponenten wie der elektronische Fahrtregler (ESC), die Servos und Empfänger sind wasserdicht, die meisten mechanischen Komponenten sind nur wasserbeständig und sollten daher nicht untergetaucht werden.

Metallteile, inklusive Lager, Bolzen Schrauben und Muttern wie auch die Kontakte in den elektrischen Kabeln sind für Korrosion anfällig wenn nicht zusätzliche Wartung nach jedem Betrieb in feuchter/nasser Umgebung erfolgt. Um die Langzeitleistung und die Garantie ihres Fahrzeuges zu erhalten, müssen Sie die Wartung wie in der Wartungsanleitung nach Fahrten in nasser Umgebung beschrieben durchführen. Sollten Sie diese zusätzliche Wartung nicht ausführen wollen, dürfen Sie ihr Fahrzeug unter diesen Bedingungen nicht betreiben.

ACHTUNG: Mangelnde Aufmerksamkeit

bei dem Gebrauch dieses Produktes in Verbindung mit den folgenden Sicherheitshinweisen könnte zu Fehlfunktionen und zum Verlust der Garantie führen.

ALLGEMEINE SICHERHEITSHINWEISE

• Bitte lesen Sie sich die Wartungsanleitung nach Fahrten in nasser Umgebung sorgfältig durch und stellen sicher, dass Sie alle Werkzeuge für eine Wartung des Fahrzeuges haben.

• Sie können nicht alle Akkutypen für Fahrten in nasser Umgebung nutzen. Fragen Sie dazu vor dem Einsatz den Hersteller des Akkus. Achtsamkeit und Vorsicht ist notwendig wenn Sie LiPo Akkus in feuchten Umgebungen einsetzen.

• Die meisten Sender sind nicht wasserfest. Sehen Sie bitte dazu vor Inbetriebnahme in der Bedienungsanleitung ihres Senders nach oder kontaktieren Sie den Hersteller.

• Nehmen Sie niemals den Sender bei Blitzen oder Gewitter in Betrieb.

• Betreiben Sie ihr Fahrzeug nicht an Orten wo es in Kontakt mit Salzwasser oder verschmutzten, belasteten Gewässern kommen kann. Salzwasser ist sehr leitend und stark korrosionsfördernd, sein Sie daher sehr achtsam.

• Schon geringer Wasserkontakt kann den Motor beschädigen wenn er nicht für den Betrieb in Wasser ausgelegt ist. Sollte der Motor nass geworden sein geben Sie etwas Gas bis die meiste Feuchtigkeit vom Motor entfernt ist. Lassen Sie einen nassen Motor auf hoher Geschwindigkeit laufen wird dieses den Motor sehr schnell beschädigen.

• Fahren in nasser Umgebung kann die Lebenszeit des Motors reduzieren, da dieses den Motor stark beansprucht. Verändern Sie die Untersetzung zu einem kleinerem Ritzel oder größeren Zahnrad. Dieses erhöht das Drehmoment (und verlängert die Motorlebensdauer) bei dem Betrieb in Matsch, tieferen Pfützen oder anderen Bedingungen, die die Last des Motors für einen längeren Zeitraum erhöhen.

WARTUNGSANLEITUNG NACH FAHRTEN IN NASSER UMGEBUNG

• Entfernen Sie Wasser in den Reifen durch Gas geben. Nehmen Sie die Karosserie ab, drehen das Fahrzeug auf den Kopf und geben ein paar Mal kurz Vollgas bis das Wasser aus dem Reifen entfernt ist.

ACHTUNG: Halten Sie immer die Hände,

Finger, Werkzeuge und andere lose oder hängende Objekte weg von drehenden Teilen wenn Sie diese Technik des Trocknens praktizieren.

• Entfernen Sie die Akkupacks und trocknen die

Kontakte. Sollten Sie einen Kompressor oder Druckluft zur Verfügung haben, blasen Sie damit das Wasser aus dem Motorgehäuse.

• Nehmen Sie die Reifen und Felgen vom Fah-

rzeug ab und spülen Sie vorsichtig mit einem

Gartenschlauch ab. Vermeiden Sie die Lager oder den Antrieb direkt zu spülen.

HINWEIS: Verwenden Sie keinen Hochdruckreiniger um das Fahrzeug zu reinigen.

• Reinigen Sie das Fahrzeug mit Druckluft aus einem Kompressor oder einer Druckluftflasche und entfernen so das Wasser aus den Spalten und Ecken.

• Sprühen Sie alle Lager, Befestigungen und andere Metallteile mit einem wasserverdrängendem Leichtöl oder Schmiermittel ein. Sprühen Sie nicht den Motor ein.

• Lassen Sie das Fahrzeug vor dem Einlagern vollständig trocknen. Das Abtropfen von Wasser (und Öl) kann durchaus ein paar Stunden dauern.

• Erhöhen Sie die Wartungsintervalle (Demontage, Inspektion und schmieren) von folgenden Komponenten:

» Vorder- und Hinterachse, Aufnahme und

Lager.

» Alle Antriebswellen Lager, Gehäuse, Getriebe

und Dierentiale.

» Motor: reinigen Sie den Motor mit einen

Aerosol Reiniger und ölen Sie dann die Lager mit leichtem Motoröl.

ALLGEMEINE WARNHINWEISE ZUM LADEN DER AKKUS

WARNUNG: Unaufmerksamkeit oder

falscher Gebrauch des Produktes in Zusammenhang mit den folgenden Warnungen kann zu Fehlfunktionen, elektrischen Störungen, große Hitzeentwicklung, FEUER, und tötlichen Verletzungen und Sachbeschädigungen führen.

• LASSEN SIE DAS NETZGERÄT, LADEGERÄT UND AKKU NIEMALS UNBEAUFSICHTIGT WÄHREND DES BETRIEBES.

• VERSUCHEN SIE NIEMALS TIEFENTLADENE, BESCHÄDIGTE ODER NASSE AKKUS ZU LADEN.

• Die Stromversorgung muss durch Schutzkleinspannung (Safety Extra Low Voltage SELV) erfolgen.

• Laden Sie niemals Akkupacks, die aus verschiedenen Zellentypen bestehen.

• Schließen Sie niemals das Ladegerät an eine 12 Volt Autobatterie bei laufenden Motor an.

• Versuchen Sie niemals das Ladegerät auseinander zu bauen oder ein beschädigtes Ladegerät in Betrieb zu nehmen.

• Schließen Sie nie das Ladegerät an an eine AC und eine DC Stromquelle gleichzeitig an.

• Schließen Sie niemals den DC Eingang an eine AC Stromquelle an.

• Benutzen Sie ausschließlich wiederaufl adbare Akkus die für das Laden mit diesem Ladegerät auch geeignet sind.

• Überprüfen Sie immer den Akku vor dem Laden.

• Halten Sie den Akku fern von Materialien die von Hitze beeinflußt werden können.

• Beobachten Sie immer den Ladevorgang und halten einen Feuerlöscher zu jeder Zeit bereit.

• Beenden Sie sofort den Ladevorgang wenn der Akku zu heiß zum Anfassen werden sollte, oder seine Form (anschwellen) verändert.

• Schließen Sie erst das Ladekabel am Ladegerät an und dann den Akku, um ein verpolen der Anschlüsse zu vermeiden. Trennen Sie die Verbindung nach dem Laden in umgekehrter Reihenfolge.

• Schließen Sie immer die positiven roten (+) Anschlüsse und negativen schwarzen (–) Anschlüsse korrekt an.

• Trennen Sie nach dem Laden den Akku vom Ladegerät und lassen das Ladegerät zwischen den Ladevorgängen abkühlen.

• Laden Sie immer in gut belüfteten Bereichen.

• Beenden Sie bei Fehlfunktionen sofort alle Prozesse und kontaktieren Horizon Hobby.

WARNUNG: Lassen Sie niemals das

Ladegerät unbeaufsichtigt. Überschreiten Sie niemals den maximalen Ladestrom. Laden Sie niemals nicht-geeignete Akkus oder Akkus im falschen Mode. Falsch- oder Fehlbedienung kann zu großer Hitze, Feuer oder tödlichen Verletzungen führen.

FLUGZEUG-AKKU LADEN

ACHTUNG: Bitte stellen Sie immer sicher,

dass die verwendeten Akkus mit den Speziﬁkationen des Ladegerätes übereinstimmen und die Einstellungen des Ladegerät korrekt eingestellt sind. Ein Nichtbfefolgen kann zu großer Hitze und weiteren Fehlfunktionen führen, die zu Personen- oder Sachschäden führen können. Bitte kontaktieren Sie Horizon Hobby oder einen autorisierten Händler wenn Sie Fragen zur Akkukompatibilität haben.

HINWEIS: Prüfen Sie den Akku, um zu gewährleisten, dass dieser nicht beschädigt, also beispielsweise aufgequollen, verbogen, gebrochen oder durchstochen, ist. Laden Sie nur Akkus, die bei sich bei Berührung kühl anfühlen und nicht beschädigt sind.

Laden Sie den Fahrzeug-Akku vor der Fahrt immer auf.

1. Stecken Sie das Ladegerät in einen USBAnschluss.

2. Schließen Sie den Akku an das Ladegerät an.

LADEVORGANG (durchgängig orange LED) MAX. GELADEN (durchgängig grüne LED)

Trennen Sie den Akku vom Ladegerät, sobald der Ladevorgang abgeschlossen ist.

ACHTUNG: Verwenden Sie ausschließlich

speziell für die im Lieferumfang enthaltenen Li-Po-Akku vorgesehene Ladegeräte. Andernfalls könnte dies Brände, Verletzungen oder Sachschäden verursachen.

QUICK START

Bitte lesen Sie das Handbuch vollständig durch, um den Losi® Micro-T vollständig zu verstehen, die Einrichtung zu optimieren und Wartungsarbeiten durchzuführen.

1. Bitte lesen Sie die Sicherheitshinweise in dieser Bedienungsanleitung.

2. Laden Sie den Fahrzeugakku. Lesen Sie die Warnungen zum Akku laden und Anweisungen zum Laden der Akkus.

3. Setzen Sie die AA Batterien in den Sender ein. Verwenden Sie nur Alkaline Batterien oder wiederauﬂadbare Akkus.

4. Setzen Sie den vollständig geladenen Akku im Fahrzeug ein.

ACHTUNG: Überschreiten Sie niemals die

empfohlenen Ladestromwerte. ACHTUNG: Entfernen Sie den Akku

unverzüglich, sobald der Ladevorgang abgeschlossen ist. Lassen Sie niemals einen Akku am Ladegerät angeschlossen.

5. Fahrzeug auf eine ebene Fläche platzieren und zuerst den Sender und dann das Fahrzeug einschalten. Bevor Sie das Fahrzeug bewegen, warten Sie 5 Sekunden, bis der Geschwindigkeitsregler initialisiert ist. Immer den Sender vor dem Fahrzeug EINSCHALTEN und immer zuerst das Fahrzeug vor dem Sender AUSSCHALTEN.

6. Überprüfen Sie die Richtung von Lenkung und Gas. Überprüfen Sie ob die Servos in die richtige Richtung arbeiten.

7. Fahren Sie das Fahrzeug.

8. Führen Sie die erforderlichen Wartungsarbeiten durch.

EINSETZEN DER SENDERBATTEREIEN

Für den Betrieb sind 4 AA Batterien erforderlich

1. Nehmen Sie die Batterieklappe vom Sender ab.

2. Setzen Sie die Batterien wie abgebildet ein.

3. Setzen Sie die Batterieklappe wieder auf. ACHTUNG: Entfernen Sie die Sender-

Akkus niemals, während das Modell

eingeschaltet ist. Es kann ansonsten zu einem Kontrollverlust über das Modell, zu einer Beschädigung oder zu unbeabsichtigten Verletzungen kommen.

ACHTUNG: Es besteht Explosionsrisiko wenn die Akkus durch einen falschen Typ

ersetzt werden. Entsorgen Sie verbrauchte Batterien den Vorschriften entsprechend.

SENDERFUNKTIONEN

BINDEN

Das Binden ist der Vorgang, durch den der Empfänger darauf programmiert wird, den GUID-Code (Globally Unique Identiﬁer) eines einzelnen Senders zu erkennen. Der Sender und der Geschwin-

digkeitsregler/Empfänger sind werksseitig gebunden. Muss eine erneute Bindung durch-

geführt werden, so ist die nachfolgende Anleitung zu befolgen:

BINDEN

1. Einen voll aufgeladenen Akku mit dem Geschwindigkeitsregler/Empfänger verbinden.

2. Den Geschwindigkeitsregler/Empfänger einschalten und die Taste 3 Sekunden lang gedrückt halten, bis die rote Lampe schnell blinkt.

3. Den Sender einschalten. Die rote LED des Geschwindigkeitsreglers/Empfängers leuchtet beständig, wenn die Bindung erfolgreich war.

4. Den Geschwindigkeitsregler/Empfänger ausschalten, um die Einstellungen zu speichern.

5. Sender ausschalten.

Ein erneutes Binden muss durchgeführt werden, wenn der Empfänger an einen anderen Sender gebunden wird.

HINWEIS: Sender und Empfänger sollten nur dann gebunden werden, wenn sich im Umkreis von ca. 120m kein weiterer kompatibler Sender im Bindungsmodus beﬁndet. Andernfalls kann eine unerwünschte Bindung zu diesem Sender erfolgen.

SICHERHEITSHINWEISE BEIM FAHREN

• Halten Sie stets Blickkontakt zum Fahrzeug.

• Prüfen Sie das Fahrzeug auf lose Radteile.

• Prüfen Sie die Lenkbaugruppe auf lose Teile.

Wenn Sie das Fahrzeug im Gelände fahren, können sich Befestigungen mit der Zeit lockern.

• Fahren Sie das Fahrzeug nicht in hohem Gras.

Dadurch können das Fahrzeug oder die Elektronik beschädigt werden.

• Halten Sie das Fahrzeug an, wenn Sie bemerken,

dass der Antrieb nachlässt. Wenn Sie das Fahrzeug mit schwachem Akku fahren, kann sich der Empfänger ausschalten. Dann können Sie die Kontrolle über das Fahrzeug verlieren. Schäden durch einen tiefentladenen LiPo Akku sind nicht durch die Garantie gedeckt.

ACHTUNG: Entladen Sie einen Li-Po-Akku

nicht unter 3 V pro Zelle. Akkus, die unter die angegebene Mindestspannung tiefentladen werden, können beschädigt werden, was die Leistung beeinträchtigen und möglicherweise beim Laden einen Brand verursachen kann.

• Drücken Sie den Gashebel nicht nach vorn oder hinten, wenn das Fahrzeug feststeckt. Wenn Sie in der Situation Gas geben kann der Motor oder der Regler (ESC) beschädigt werden.

• Lassen Sie nach jeder Fahrt die Elektronik auf Umgebungstemperatur abkühlen, bevor Sie das nächste Akkupack verwenden.

WICHTIG: Halten Sie alle Kabel weg von allen beweglichen Teilen.

DURCHFÜHREN EINES STEUERTEST

Führen Sie den Funktionstest durch, ohne dass die Räder den Boden berühren. Sollten sich die Räder nach dem Einschalten drehen, justieren Sie die Gastrimmung mit TH Trim Knopf bis die Räder stoppen. Um die Räder nach vorne drehen zu lassen, ziehen Sie den Gashebel. Um rückwärts zu fahren warten Sie bis die Räder zum Stillstand gekommen sind und drücken dann den Hebel nach vorne. Bei der Vorwärtsfahrt sollte das Fahrzeug ohne Lenkeingabe geradeaus fahren. Falls nicht justieren Sie die Lenktrimmung mit dem ST Knopf bis das Fahrzeug geradeaus fährt.

BEVOR SIE IHR FAHRZEUG FAHREN

1. Überprüfen Sie die Aufhängung. Alle beweglichen Teile der Aufhängung müssen sich frei bewegen lassen. Jedes schwergängige Teil vermindert die Leistung.

2. Laden Sie den Akkupacks. Laden Sie den Akku stets nach den Vorgaben des Herstellers oder nach den Vorgaben des Ladegerätherstellers.

3. Radmuttern prüfen, um sicherzustellen, dass sie nicht locker sind.

4. Einstellen der Lenktrimmung am Sender. Folgen Sie den Anweisungen zum Einstellen der Trimmund Subtrimmfunktion, so dass das Fahrzeug ohne Steuereingabe geradeaus fährt.

5. Führen Sie einen Steuertest durch.

WICHTIG: Überprüfen Sie das Getriebe auf Klemmung und stellen Sie sicher, dass sich das Fahrzeug frei bewegt.

INSTALLIEREN SIE DEN AKKU UND SCHALTEN SIE DAS FAHRZEUG EIN

WICHTIG: Das Fahrzeug MUSS mindestens 5Sekunden lang aufeiner ﬂachen, ebenen Fläche

verbleiben. WICHTIG: Halten Sie Drähte von allen beweglichen Teilen fern.

1. Die Steuerung „TH Trim“ auf dem Sender zentrieren.

2. Das Gehäuse aus der Karosserie heben.

3. Einen vollständig geladenen Akku in das Fahrzeug einlegen.

4. Den Akku mit einem Akku-Halter sichern.

5. Den Sender einschalten.

6. Den Akku an den Geschwindigkeitsregler/Empfänger anschließen.

WICHTIG: Kabel des Geschwindigkeits-reglers so sichern, dass sie nicht mit der Antriebswelle in Berührung kommen.

7. Den Geschwindigkeitsregler/Empfänger einschalten.

8. Das Gehäuse wieder anbringen und mit der mitgelieferten Klettlasche sichern.

LAUFZEIT

Der größte Faktor bei der Fahrzeit ist die Kapazität des Akkupacks. Ein höherer mAh-Wert bedeutet eine längere Fahrzeit.

Der Zustand des Akkupacks ist ebenfalls ein wichtiger Faktor für Fahrzeit und Geschwindigkeit. Die Akkuanschlüsse können sich beim Fahren erhitzen. Akkus verlieren mit der Zeit an Leistung und Kapazität.

Wenn Sie das Fahrzeug wiederholt aus dem Stand auf die Höchstgeschwindigkeit beschleunigen, werden die Akkus und die Elektronik mit der Zeit beschädigt. Plötzliche Beschleunigung verkürzt außerdem die Fahrzeit.

AUSSCHALTEN DES FAHRZEUGS

1. Schalten Sie den Geschwindigkeitsregler aus.

2. Schalten Sie den Sender aus.

3. Nehmen Sie die LiPo-Akkus heraus und laden Sie sie.

WICHTIG: Kabel von allen beweglichen Teilen fernhalten. Lassen Sie die Elektronik nach dem Fahren des Fahrzeugs abkühlen, bevor Sie das Fahrzeug wieder fahren.

SO VERLÄNGERN SIE DIE LAUFZEIT

• Halten Sie Ihr Fahrzeug sauber und in gutem Wartungszustand.

• Erlauben Sie einen besseren Luftstrom zum Regler (ESC) und zum Motor.

• Wechseln Sie das Getriebe zu einem niedrigeren Übersetzungsverhältnis. Ein niedrigeres Übersetzungsverhältnis senkt die Betriebstemperatur der Elektronik. Verwenden Sie ein kleineres Ritzel oder ein größeres Stirnrad, um das Übersetzungsverhältnis zu senken.

• Verwenden Sie ein Akkupack mit einem höheren mAh-Wert.

• Verwenden Sie zum Laden ein geeignetes Ladegerät. Ihr Fachhändler berät Sie gerne.

TUNEN, EINSTELLEN UND WARTEN DES FAHRZEUGS

• Untersuchen Sie das Fahrzeug regelmäßig.

• Entfernen Sie Dreck und Staub mit einem Pinsel.

• Prüfen Sie es auf Schäden an den Querlenkern und anderen Formteilen.

• Kleben Sie bei Bedarf die Reifen wieder an den Rädern fest.

• Ziehen Sie Befestigungen mit geeigneten Werkzeugen fest.

• Kontrollieren Sie die Sturz- und Spurstangen auf Verbiegungen. Wechseln Sie verbogene Stangen aus.

• Entfernen Sie die Stoßdämpfer und prüfen Sie sie auf Schäden. Bauen Sie neue Stoßdämpfer ein, wenn Öl austritt.

• Prüfen Sie Elektronik und Akkus auf freiliegende Drähte. Reparieren Sie freiliegende Drähte mit Isolierung oder wechseln Sie die Kabel aus.

• Prüfen Sie, ob der ESC / der Empfänger sicher im Fahrwerk befestigt sind. Ersetzen Sie bei Bedarf das doppelseitige Klebeband.

• Schalten Sie den Sender ein. Ersetzen Sie die Akkus im Sender, wenn die Anzeige leuchtet.

• Prüfen Sie das Stirnrad auf Abnutzung.

WARTUNG

Wenn Fragen auftreten, die nicht in der Fehlersuchanleitung oder im Abschnitt zur Wartung abgedeckt sind, wenden Sie sich bitte an die betreende Horizon-Produktsupportabteilung.

STOSSDÄMPFER-REINIGUNG

Ölgefüllte Stoßdämpfer müssen regelmäßig gewartet werden, da sich das Öl zersetzt oder verschmutzt. Diese Wartung sollte je nach Fahrbedingungen etwa alle 3-5 Betriebsstunden durchgeführt werden.

• Den Stoßdämpfer vom Fahrzeug entfernen.

• Die Stoßdämpferkappe vom Stoßdämpfgergehäuse entfernen und die Flüssigkeit entsorgen.

• Dämpfer auseinandernehmen. Gründlich mit einem kunststoff- und elektroniksicheren Entfetter reinigen. (DYNE50001). Teile vor dem Zusammenbau trocknen.

• Kolben die Mitte des Gehäuses bewegen und Stoßdämpferkappe montieren.

• Übergelaufene Flüssigkeit abwischen.

• Stoßdämpfer wieder in das Fahrzeug einbauen.

EINSTELLEN DER FAHRHÖHE

Die Fahrhöhe ist eine Einstellung, die sich auf die Art und Weise auswirkt, wie das Fahrzeug springt, wendet und über Unebenheiten fährt. Ein Ende des Fahrzeugs aus einer Höhe von ca. 152 mm (6 Zoll) auf eine ebene Fläche fallen lassen. Beim Absenken der Vorderseite des Fahrzeugs sicherstellen, dass die vorderen Arme nach dem Aufsetzen des Fahrzeugs gleichmäßig und parallel zur ebenen Fläche ausgerichtet sind. Machen Sie das Gleiche mit der Rückseite, um sicherzustellen, dass beide Arme parallel zur ebenen Fläche sind.

Eine Absenkung der vorderen Fahrhöhe verbessert die Lenkung, verringert aber die Traktion. Eine Absenkung der hinteren Fahrhöhe erhöht die Traktion, verringert aber die Lenkfähigkeit.

REINIGUNG

Die Leistung kann beeinträchtigt werden, wenn Schmutz in Teile der Aufhängung gerät. Entfernen Sie Staub oder Schmutz mit Druckluft, einem weichen Pinsel oder einer Zahnbürste. Meiden Sie Lösungsmittel oder Chemikalien, da diese den Schmutz in die Lager oder bewegliche Teile spülen und die Elektronik beschädigen können.

PROGRAMMIERUNG

EINSTELLUNG DES FAHRMODUS

Das System unterstützt den Wechsel zwischen den Modi F-B-R (Vorwärts-Bremse-Rückwärts) und F-R (Vorwärts und Rückwärts). Die Standardeinstellung ist der F-B-R-Modus (Vorwärts-Bremse-Rückwärts).

1. Drücken Sie bei eingeschaltetem Geschwin-

digkeitsregler/Empfänger die Taste und halten Sie sie 3 Sekunden lang gedrückt. Die Anzeige des Geschwindigkeitsreglers blinkt langsam im Abstand von 1 Sekunde.

2. Die Taste loslassen. Das System wechselt

zwischen den Modi F-B-R (Vorwärts-BremseRückwärts) und F-R (Vorwärts-Rückwärts). Das System gibt dem Benutzer dann Anweisungen entsprechend der aktuellen Betriebsart.

• F-R-Modus (Vorwärts-Rückwärts): Die Anzeige des Geschwindigkeitsreglers blinkt zweimal auf und der Motor summt.

• F-B-R-Modus (Vorwärts-Bremse-Rückwärts): Die Anzeige des Geschwindigkeitsreg-

SCHLEPPBREMSE / EINSTELLUNG DER BREMSKRAFT

1. Drücken Sie bei eingeschaltetem Geschwindigkeitsregler/Empfänger die Taste und halten Sie sie 6 Sekunden lang gedrückt. Die Anzeige des Geschwindigkeitsreglers blinkt zweimal schnell und erlischt dann.

EIN-/AUSSCHALTEN

• Um den Geschwindigkeitsregler/Empfänger einzuschalten, halten Sie die Taste 1 Sekunde lang gedrückt. Die LED leuchtet durchgängig.

• Um den Geschwindigkeitsregler/Empfänger auszuschalten, halten Sie die Taste 1 Sekunde lang gedrückt. Die LED erlischt.

2. Die Taste loslassen. Das System wechselt in den

Modus für die Schleppbremse und die Einstellung der Bremskraft. Die Schleppbremse wird im F-R-Modus (Vorwärts-Rückwärts) eingestellt. Die aktive Bremse wird im F-B-R-Modus (Vorwärts-Bremse-Rückwärts) eingestellt. Die Anzahl der blinkenden LEDs und die Motorgeräusche zeigen die aktuelle Stufe der Schleppbremse an. Es gibt 5 Stufen für die Bremskraft (0%, 25%, 50%, 75%, 100%), die in Zyklen einstellbar sind. Die Standardeinstellung ist Stufe 1, Bremskraft 0%.

3. Drücken Sie im Modus zur Einstellung der

Schleppbremse die Taste. Die Stärke der Schleppbremse wird um eine Stufe erhöht. HINWEIS: Die Anzahl der Blinksignale zeigt die Stufe der Schleppbremse an.

4. Um den Modus zur Einstellung der Schlepp-

bremse zu verlassen, schalten Sie den Geschwindigkeitsregler aus. Drücken Sie die Taste und halten Sie sie 3 Sekunden lang gedrückt. Warten Sie, bis die Anzeige des Geschwindigkeitsreglers erlischt und lassen Sie dann die Taste los, um das System zu schließen.

5. Schalten Sie den Geschwindigkeitsregler/Emp-

fänger ein, um die neue Einstellung der Schleppbremse zu verwenden.

UNTERSPANNUNGSSCHUTZ

Wenn die Batteriespannung niedriger als 6,4V ist, blinkt die LED langsam und die maximale Geschwindigkeit des Motors wird auf 50% begrenzt.

Wenn die Batteriespannung unter 6,0V liegt, blinkt die LED langsam und der Motor hört auf zu laufen.

KALIBRIERUNGSVERFAHREN

Die Endpunkte des Verfahrwegs der Steuerung nach rechts und links (ST/CH1) und der Gassteuerung nach vorne und hinten (TH/CH2) mithilfe des SLT2 einstellen.

1. Das Sendersteuerrad vollständig nach rechts drehen und halten. Gleichzeitig den Gasauslöser nach vorne drücken und halten. Den Ein-/ Ausschalter des Senders drücken. Die rote Sender-LED blinkt schnell und zeigt so den Endpunkt-Einstellstatus an.

2. Das Steuerrad und den Gasauslöser des Senders in die Neutralstellung loslassen.

3. Das Steuerrad ganz nach links drehen und halten. Gleichzeitig den Knopf für die Steuerrate (SR) im Uhrzeigersinn drehen, um den linken Steuerendpunkt zu erweitern. Für einen geringeren Steuerendpunkt den Knopf entgegen dem Uhrzeigersinn drehen.

4. Das Steuerrad des Senders in die Neutralstellung loslassen.

5. Das Sendersteuerrad vollständig nach rechts drehen und halten. Gleichzeitig den Knopf für die Steuerrate (SR) im Uhrzeigersinn drehen, um den rechten Steuerendpunkt zu erweitern. Für einen geringeren Steuerendpunkt den Knopf entgegen dem Uhrzeigersinn drehen.

6. Das Steuerrad des Senders in die Neutralstellung loslassen. HINWEIS: Wenn Sie nur die Endpunkte der Steuerung einstellen möchten, schalten Sie den Sender AUS und drehen Sie den Knopf für die Steuerrate (SR) bis zum Anschlag im Uhrzeigersinn. Der Endpunkt stellt sich auf OK. Wenn Sie auch den Endpunkt des Gasauslösers einstellen möchten, mit Schritt 7 fortfahren.

7. Prüfen Sie, ob der Gasbegrenzungsschalter auf 100 % gestellt ist.

8. Halten Sie den Gasauslöser des Senders ganz nach hinten gezogen. Den Knopf für die Steuerrate (SR) im Uhrzeigersinn drehen, um den Vollgas-Endpunkt zu erweitern. Für einen geringeren Vollgas-Endpunkt den Knopf entgegen dem Uhrzeigersinn drehen.

9. Den Gashebel des Senders in die Neutralstellung loslassen. Den Knopf für die Steuerrate (SR) im Uhrzeigersinn bis zum Anschlag drehen.

10. Halten Sie den Gasauslöser des Senders ganz nach vorne gedrückt. Den Knopf für die Steuerrate (SR) für mehr Gas im Uhrzeigersinn drehen. Für weniger Gas den Knopf entgegen dem Uhrzeigersinn drehen.

11. Den Gashebel des Senders in die Neutralstellung loslassen.

12. Den Sender AUSSCHALTEN.

13. Den Knopf für die Steuerrate (SR) im Uhrzeigersinn bis zum Anschlag drehen.

AUF WERKSEINSTELLUNGEN ZURÜCKSETZEN

Zum Zurücksetzen auf Werkseinstellungen:

1. Das Steuerrad ganz nach links drehen und halten. Gleichzeitig den Gasauslöser nach vorne drücken und halten. Den Ein-/Ausschalter des Senders drücken. Die rote Sender-LED blinkt viermal und zeigt so an, dass die Werkseinstellungen wiederhergestellt werden.

2. Das Steuerrad und den Gasauslöser des Senders loslassen. Die rote Sender-LED leuchtet durchgehend und zeigt so an, dass das Wiederherstellen der Werkseinstellungen abgeschlossen ist.

Warnung – Ein ferngesteuertes Modell ist kein

Spielzeug. Es kann, wenn es falsch eingesetzt wird, zu erheblichen Verletzungen bei Lebewesen und Beschädigungen an Sachgütern führen. Betreiben Sie Ihr RC-Modell nur auf freien Plätzen und beachten Sie alle Hinweise der Bedienungsanleitung des Modells wie auch der Fernsteuerung.

Garantiezeitraum – Exklusive Garantie Horizon Hobby LLC (Horizon) garantiert, dass dasgekaufte Produkt frei von Material- und Montagefehlern ist. Der Garantiezeitraum entspricht den gesetzlichen Bestimmung des Landes, in dem das Produkt erworben wurde. In Deutschland beträgt der Garantiezeitraum 6 Monate und der Gewährleistungszeitraum 18 Monate nach dem Garantiezeitraum.

Einschränkungen der Garantie – (a) Die Garantie wird nur dem Erstkäufer (Käufer) gewährt und kann nicht übertragen werden. Der Anspruch des Käufers besteht in der Reparatur oder dem Tausch im Rahmen dieser Garantie. Die Garantie erstreckt sich ausschließlich auf Produkte, die bei einem autorisierten Horizon Händler erworben wurden. Verkäufe an dritte werden von dieser Garantie nicht gedeckt. Garantieansprüche werden nur angenommen, wenn ein gültiger Kaufnachweis erbracht wird. Horizon behält sich das Recht vor, diese Garantiebestimmungen ohne Ankündigung zu ändern oder modiﬁzieren und widerruft dann bestehende Garantiebestimmungen.

(b) Horizon übernimmt keine Garantie für die Verkaufbarkeit des Produktes, die Fähigkeiten und die Fitness des Verbrauchers für einen bestimmten Einsatzzweck des Produktes. Der Käufer allein ist dafür verantwortlich, zu prüfen, ob das Produkt seinen Fähigkeiten und dem vorgesehenen Einsatzzweck entspricht.

(c) Ansprüche des Käufers Es liegt ausschließlich im Ermessen von Horizon, ob das Produkt, bei dem ein Garantiefall festgestellt wurde, repariert oder ausgetauscht wird. Dies sind die exklusiven Ansprüche des Käufers, wenn ein Defekt festgestellt wird.

Horizon behält sich vor, alle eingesetzten Komponenten zu prüfen, die in den Garantiefall einbezogen werden können. Die Entscheidung zur Reparatur oder zum Austausch liegt nur bei Horizon. Die Garantie schließt kosmetische Defekte oder Defekte, hervorgerufen durch höhere Gewalt, falsche Behandlung des Produktes, falscher Einsatz des Produktes, kommerziellen Einsatz oder Modiﬁkationen irgendwelcher Art aus.

Die Garantie schließt Schäden, die durch falschen Einbau, falsche Handhabung, Unfälle, Betrieb, Service oder Reparaturversuche, die nicht von Horizon ausgeführt wurden aus.

Ausgeschlossen sind auch Fälle die bedingt durch (vii) eine Nutzung sind, die gegen geltendes Recht, Gesetze oder Regularien verstoßen haben. Rücksendungen durch den Käufer direkt an Horizon oder eine seiner Landesvertretung bedürfen der Schriftform.

Schadensbeschränkung – Horizon ist nicht für direkte oder indirekte Folgeschäden, Einkommensausfälle oder kommerzielle Verluste, die in irgendeinem Zusammenhang mit dem Produkt stehen verantwortlich, unabhängig ab ein Anspruch im Zusammenhang mit einem Vertrag, der Garantie oder der Gewährleistung erhoben werden. Horizon wird darüber hinaus keine Ansprüche aus einem Garantiefall akzeptieren, die über den individuellen Wert des Produktes hinaus gehen. Horizon hat keinen Einﬂuss auf den Einbau, die Verwendung oder die Wartung des Produktes oder etwaiger Produktkombinationen, die vom Käufer gewählt werden. Wartung und Reparatur – Muss Ihr Produkt gewartet oder repariert werden, wenden Sie sich entweder an Ihren Fachhändler oder direkt an Horizon.

Rücksendungen / Reparaturen werden nur mit einer von Horizon vergebenen RMA Nummer bearbeitet. Diese Nummer erhalten Sie oder ihr Fachhändler vom technischen Service. Bei kostenpﬂichtigen Reparaturen werden mindestens 30 Minuten Werkstattzeit und die Rückversandkosten in Rechnung gestellt. Sollten wir nach 90 Tagen keine Einverständniserklärung zur Reparatur vorliegen haben, behalten wir uns vor, das Produkt zu vernichten oder anderweitig zu verwerten.

Ce modèle est contrôlé par un signal radio, qui peut être soumis à des interférences provenant de nombreuses sources hors de votre contrôle. Ces interférences peuvent provoquer une perte momentanée de contrôle. • Faites bien attention lors de l´utilisation d´outils et lors de l´utilisation d´instruments coupants.

• Faites bien attention lors du montage, certaines pièces peuvent avoir des bords coupants.

• Après avoir utilisé votre modèle, NE touchez PAS à certaines de ces pièces telles que le moteur, le contrôleur électronique de vitesse et la batterie, car elles peuvent encore se trouver à des températures élevées. Vous risquez de vous brûler gravement en cas de contact avec elles.

VÉHICULE RÉSISTANT À L’EAU ET ÉQUIPÉ D’UNE ÉLECTRONIQUE ÉTANCHE

Votre nouveau véhicule Horizon Hobby a été conçu et fabriqué en combinant des composants étanches et des composants résistants à l’eau vous permettant d’utiliser ce produit dans plusieurs “Conditions Humides” incluant les ﬂaques d’eau, les ruisseaux, l’herbe humide, la neige et même la pluie.

Bien que le véhicule possède une grande résistance vis-à-vis de l’eau, il n’est pas entièrement étanche et votre véhicule ne doit PAS être utilisé comme un sous-marin. Les diérents composants électroniques installés sur le véhicule, comme le contrôleur de vitesse électronique (ESC), le ou les servo(s) et le récepteur sont étanches, cependant la plupart des composants mécaniques résistent aux projections d’eau mais ne doivent pas être immergés.

Les pièces métalliques comme les roulements, les axes de suspension, les vis et les écrous ainsi que les contacts des prises des câbles électriques sont exposés à l’oxydation si vous n’eectuez un entretien supplémentaire après avoir utilisé le produit dans des conditions humides. Pour conserver à long terme les performances de votre véhicule et conserver la garantie, les procédures décrites dans la section «Maintenance en conditions humides» doivent être régulièrement eectuées si vous roulez dans des conditions humides. Si vous ne souhaitez pas eectuer la maintenance supplémentaire requise, vous ne devez pas utiliser le véhicule dans ces conditions.

ATTENTION : Un défaut de soin durant

l’utilisation et un non-respect des consignes suivantes peut entraîner un dysfonctionnement du produit et/ou annuler la garantie.

PRÉCAUTIONS GÉNÉRALES

• Lisez avec attention les procédures de main-

tenance en conditions humides et vérifiez que vous possédez tous les outils nécessaires pour effectuer la maintenance du véhicule.

• Toutes les batteries ne peuvent être utilisées

en conditions humides. Consultez la documentation du fabricant de votre batterie avant utilisation. Des précautions doivent être appliquées quand vous utilisez des batteries Li-Po en conditions humides.

• La majorité des émetteurs ne résiste pas aux

projections d’eau. Consultez le manuel ou le fabricant de votre émetteur avant utilisation.

• N’utilisez jamais votre émetteur ou votre véhi-

cule sous un orage.

• N’utilisez JAMAIS votre véhicule où il pourrait

entrer en contact avec de l’eau salée (Eau de mer ou flaque d’eau sur une route salée), ou de l’eau polluée ou contaminée.

• Une petite quantité d’eau peut réduire la durée

de vie du moteur s’il n’est pas certifié étanche ou résistant aux projections d’eau. Si le moteur devient excessivement humide, appliquez légèrement les gaz pour évacuer le maximum d’eau du moteur. Faire tourner à un régime

élevé un moteur humide causerait son endommagement rapide.

• L’utilisation en conditions humides peut réduire la durée de vie du moteur. La résistance de l’eau cause des efforts plus importants. Adaptez le rapport de transmission en utilisant un pignon plus petit ou une couronne plus grande. Cela augmentera le couple (et la durée de vie du moteur) quand vous roulez dans la boue, dans les flaques profondes ou n’importe quelle autre condition humide, cela augmente la charge appliquée au moteur.

MAINTENANCE EN CONDITIONS HUMIDES

• Evacuez l’eau collectée par les pneus en les faisant tourner à haute vitesse. Retirez la carrosserie, retournez le véhicule et donnez des courts coups d’accélérateur plein gaz jusqu’à ce que l’eau soit retirée.

ATTENTION: Tenez toujours éloigné des parties en rotation, les mains, les doigts,

les outils ou autre objet lâches/pendants.

• Retirez la batterie et séchez ses contacts. Si vous possédez un compresseur d’air ou une bombe d’air compressé, chassez toute l’humidité qui se trouve dans la prise.

• Retirez les roues du véhicule et rincez-les à l’aide d’un arrosoir pour retirer la boue et la poussière. Evitez de rincer les roulements et la transmission.

REMARQUE : N’utilisez jamais un nettoyeur haute-pression pour nettoyer le véhicule.

• Utilisez un compresseur d’air ou une bombe d’air compressée pour sécher le véhicule et vous aider à retirer l’eau logée dans les renfoncements et les recoins.

• Vaporisez du lubrifiant ou de l’anti-humidité sur les roulements, les vis ou autres pièces métalliques. Ne pas en vaporiser sur le moteur.

• Laissez le véhicule sécher avant de le stocker. L’eau (et l’huile) peuvent continuer à s’écouler durant quelques heures.

• Augmentez la fréquence d’inspection, de démontage et de lubrification des éléments suivants :

» Les axes de roues et roulements des fusées

avant et arrière.

» Tous les boitiers de transmissions, pignons

et diérentiels.

» Le moteur—nettoyez-le à l’aide d’un aérosol

de nettoyant moteur et lubriﬁez les paliers à l’aide de lubriﬁant pour roulements.

AVERTISSEMENTS RELATIFS À LA CHARGE

AVERTISSEMENT : Une erreur d’attention

ou un non-respect des consignes durant l’utilisation de ce produit peut entraîner un dysfonctionnement, une surchaue, un INC. NDIE et dans le pire des cas, des blessures et des dégâts matériels.

• NE LAISSEZ JAMAIS UNE BATTERIE EN

CHARGE SANS SURVEILLANCE.

• NE CHARGEZ JAMAIS UNE BATTERIE DU-

RANT LA NUIT.

• L’alimentation électrique doit fournir une

alimentation de type SELV (Safety Extra Low Voltage - Très basse tension de sécurité).

• Ne tentez pas de charger des batteries endom-

magées ou humides.

• Ne chargez jamais une batterie contenant dif-

férents types d’éléments.

• Ne laissez jamais un enfant de moins de 14 ans

utiliser seul le chargeur.

• Ne chargez pas les batteries dans des lieux aux

températures extrêmes ou en plein soleil.

• Ne chargez pas une batterie dont les câbles

sont endommagés.

• Ne branchez pas le chargeur si son câble

d’alimentation est endommagé.

• Ne connectez jamais le chargeur à une batterie

voiture 12V lorsque le véhicule roule.

• Ne tentez jamais de démonter ou d’utiliser un chargeur endommagé.

• Ne reliez jamais votre chargeur simultanément aux câbles d’alimentation AC et DC.

• Ne connectez jamais la prise d’entrée (entrée DC) à une alimentation AC.

• Utilisez toujours uniquement les batteries conçues pour une utilisation avec ce type de chargeur dans le mode de charge approprié. Contrôlez toujours l’état de la batterie avant de la charger.

• Tenez toujours la batterie éloignée de tout matériau pouvant être affecté par la chaleur.

• Contrôlez toujours la température de la batterie durant la charge et avoir un extincteur à portée de main.

• Arrêtez toujours la charge si le chargeur ou la batterie deviennent très chauds ou que la batterie commence à se déformer.

• Connectez toujours les câbles de charge au chargeur en premier, puis connectez la batterie afin d’éviter un court-circuit entre les câbles. Inversez l’ordre des étapes pour déconnecter.

• Connectez toujours les câbles positifs rouges (+) et les câbles négatifs noirs (-) correctement.

• Débranchez toujours la batterie et le chargeur après la charge et les laisser refroidir entre les charges.

• Chargez toujours dans un endroit bien ventilé.

• Terminez toujours les processus et contactez le Service Technique Horizon Hobby si le produit fait objet de dysfonctionnements.

• Chargez uniquement des batteries rechargeables. La charge de piles non rechargeables peut causer un incendie, entrainant des blessures corporelles et/ou des dégâts matériels.

• La prise d’alimentation doit être à proximité des équipements et facilement accessible.

AVERTISSEMENT : Ne laissez jamais le

chargeur sans surveillance, ne dépassez jamais la capacité de charge maximale, ne chargez jamais des batteries non conçue pour ce chargeur. Un non respect de cette consigne peu entraîner une surchaue, un incendie avec risque de blessures corporelles.

ATTENTION : Vériﬁez toujours que les

caractéristiques de la batterie correspondent au chargeur. Un non respect de cette consigne peut entraîner une surchaue ou un dysfonctionnement du produit pouvant entraîner des dégâts matériels ou des blessures corporelles. Contactez votre revendeur ou Horizon Hobby si vous avez des questions concernant la compatibilité.

CHARGEMENT DE LA BATTERIE DE L’APPAREIL

REMARQUE: Inspectez la batterie pour vous

assurer qu’elle n’est pas endommagée, c’està-dire nongonﬂée, courbée, brisée ou perforée. Ne chargez que les batteries froides au toucher et nonendommagées.

La batterie doit toujours être chargée avant d’utiliser l’appareil.

1. Insérez le chargeur dans le portUSB.

2. Raccordez la batterie au chargeur.

ENCHARGE (DEL orange ﬁxe) CHARGEMAXIMALE (DEL verte ﬁxe)

Débranchez la batterie du chargeur immédiatement après la ﬁn de la charge.

ATTENTION: N’utilisez que des chargeurs

spécialement conçus pour charger la batterie Li-Po incluse. Le non-respect de ces instructions peut entraîner un incendie, des blessures ou des dégâts matériels.

ATTENTION: Ne dépassez jamais le taux de charge recommandé.

ATTENTION: Une fois que la charge est

terminée, retirez immédiatement la batterie.Ne laissez jamais une batterie connectée au chargeur.

DÉMARRAGE RAPIDE

Veuillez lire le manuel entièrement pour comprendre pleinement le Losi® Micro-T, aner la conﬁguration et eectuer la maintenance.

1. Lisez les consignes de sécurité présentes dans ce manuel.

2. Chargez une batterie pour votre véhicule. Référez-vous aux instructions et aux consignes de sécurité relatives à la charge de la batterie.

3. Installez les piles AA dans l’émetteur. Utilisez uniquement des piles alcalines ou des batteries rechargeables.

4. Installez la batterie entièrement chargée dans le véhicule.

5. Avec le véhicule sur une surface plate, allumez l’émetteur puis le véhicule. Avant de déplacer le véhicule, attendez 5secondes que le variateur ESC/récepteur s’initialisent. Mettez toujours l’émetteur sur ON (sous tension) avant le véhicule et sur OFF (hors tension) après la mise hors tension du véhicule.

6. Contrôlez la direction et les gaz. Vériﬁez qu’ils agissent dans la bonne direction.

7. Pilotez votre véhicule.

8. Eectuez la maintenance requise.

INSTALLATION DES PILES DE L’ÉMETTEUR

Cet émetteur nécessite 4 piles AA.

1. Retirez le couvercle du compartiment à piles.

2. Insérez les piles comme sur l’illustration.

3. Replacez le couvercle. ATTENTION : N’enlevez jamais les piles

de l’émetteur pendant que le modèle est

allumé. Cela peut provoquer la perte de contrôle du modèle et des dommages corporels ou matériels.

ATTENTION : Risque d’explosion si la batterie est remplacée par un type de

batterie non conforme. Éliminez les batteries usagées selon les régulations nationales.

FONCTIONS DE L’ÉMETTEUR

7. Taux de direction ajuste les points d’extrémité de la direction

8. Compensateur de direction ajuste le point central de la direction

AFFECTATION

L’aectation est le processus de programmation du récepteur qui vise à reconnaître le code GUID (identiﬁcateur global unique) d’un émetteur unique spéciﬁque. L’émetteur et le variateur ESC/ récepteur sont aectés en usine. Si vous devez les réaecter, suivez les instructions ci-dessous:

1. Connectez une batterie complètement chargée au variateur ESC/récepteur.

2. Mettez le variateur ESC/récepteur sous tension, en maintenant le bouton enfoncé pendant 3secondes jusqu’à ce que le voyant rouge clignote rapidement.

3. Allumez l’émetteur. La DEL rouge du variateur ESC/récepteur s’allume en continu pour indiquer le succès de l’aectation.

4. Éteignez le variateur ESC/récepteur pour enregistrer les paramètres.

5. Éteignez l’émetteur.

Vous devez réaecter le récepteur lorsque vous l’aectez à un émetteur diérent.

REMARQUE: N’essayez pas de lier l’émetteur et le récepteur si d’autres émetteurs compatibles sont en mode d’aectation à moins de 120m. Cette action pourrait entraîner une aectation imprévue.

PRÉCAUTIONS DE PILOTAGE

• Regardez toujours le modèle.

• Inspectez régulièrement le serrage des roues

du véhicule.

• Inspectez régulièrement les éléments de la

direction, le serrage des vis. Une conduite en tout-terrain peut causer le desserrage des fixations.

• Ne pilotez pas le véhicule dans de l’herbe haute.

Vous risqueriez d’endommager le véhicule ou l’électronique.

• Stoppez la conduite du véhicule quand vous

sentez une baisse de la puissance. Conduire le véhicule avec une batterie déchargée peut entraîner la mise hors tension du récepteur. Si le récepteur n’est plus alimenté, vous perdrez le contrôle de votre véhicule. Les dommages causés par une batterie Li-Po déchargée ne sont pas couverts par la garantie.

ATTENTION : Ne déchargez pas une

batterie Li-Po en dessous de 3V par élément. Les batteries qui sont déchargées en dessous de la tension minimale approuvée seront endommagées, résultant en une perte de performances et un risque potentiel d’incendie lors de la charge suivante.

• N’appliquez pas la marche avant ou arrière si le véhicule est bloqué. Vous risqueriez d’endommager le moteur ou le contrôleur.

• Après avoir piloté le véhicule, laissez l’électronique refroidir avant de piloter une nouvelle fois.

IMPORTANT: Maintenez les câbles à l'écart des pièces en mouvement.

TEST DE DIRECTION

Eectuez un test des commandes en plaçant les roues du véhicule hors du sol. Si les roues se mettent à tourner après la mise sous tension du véhicule, ajustez le potentiomètre ST Trim jusqu´à obtenir l´arrêt de la rotation des roues. Pressez la gâchette pour faire tourner les roues en avant. Pour inverser leur rotation, attendez que leur rotation s´arrête, puis poussez la gâchette. Quand les roues tournent en marche avant, elle doivent rester parfaitement droites sans devoir corriger l´angle à l´aide du volant. Si ce n´est pas le cas, ajustez le trim ST Trim pour obtenir un trajectoire rectiligne sans agir sur le volant.

AVANT DE FAIRE ROULER VOTRE VÉHICULE

1. Contrôlez le libre mouvement de la suspension. Tous les bras de suspension ainsi que les composants de direction doivent pivoter librement.

2. Chargez la batterie. Chargez toujours la batterie en respectant les consignes données par le fabricant de la batterie et du chargeur.

3. Vériﬁez que les écrous de roues ne sont pas desserrés.

4. Ajustez sur l’émetteur le trim de la direction. Suivez les instructions pour régler le trim/subtrim pour que le véhicule roule droit quand le volant n’est pas actionné.

5. Eectuez un test de direction.

IMPORTANT : Vériﬁez s’il y a un coincement dans la transmission et conﬁrmez que le véhicule se déplace librement.

INSTALLATION DE LA BATTERIE ET ALLUMAGE DU VÉHICULE

IMPORTANT: Le véhicule DOIT rester immobile sur une surface plane et

nivelée pendant au moins 5secondes. IMPORTANT: conservez les ﬁls à l’écart de toutes les pièces en mouvement.

1. Centrez le cadran TH TRIM sur l’émetteur.

2. Retirez la carrosserie en la soulevant pour la détacher du châssis.

3. Installez une batterie complètement chargée dans le véhicule.

4. Fixez la batterie à l’aide du dispositif de retenue de la batterie en plastique.

5. Allumez l’émetteur.

6. Raccordez la batterie à l’ESC/récepteur.

IMPORTANT: Fixez les ﬁls du variateurESC aﬁn qu’ils ne gênent pas l’engrenage.

7. Mettez l’ESC/récepteur sous tension.

8. Réinstallez la carrosserie en la ﬁxant à l’aide de la bande velcro incluse.

AUTONOMIE

Le facteur le plus inﬂuant sur l’autonomie est la capacité de la batterie. Une capacité supérieure augmentera l’autonomie.

L’état de la batterie est aussi un facteur très important pour l’autonomie et la vitesse. Les prises de la batterie peuvent chauer durant l’utilisation. Les batteries perdent en performances et capacité au ﬁl du temps.

Passer le véhicule de l’arrêt à pleine vitesse de façon répétée ﬁnira par endommager la batterie et l’électronique. Les accélérations brutales réduisent l’autonomie.

POUR AMÉLIORER L’AUTONOMIE

MISE HORS TENSION DU VÉHICULE

1. Mettez le contrôleur hors tension.

2. Mettez l’émetteur hors tension.

3. Retirez et chargez les batteries.

IMPORTANT: Maintenez les ﬁls éloignés de toutes les pièces mobiles. Après avoir conduit le véhicule, laissez l’électronique refroidir avant de conduire à nouveau le véhicule.

• Ayez toujours un véhicule entretenu et propre.

• Optimisez le refroidissement du contrôleur et du moteur.

• Changez votre rapport de transmission pour une réduction plus importante. Une réduction plus importante diminuera la température de fonctionnement de l’électronique. Utilisez un pignon plus petit ou une couronne plus grande pour obtenir une réduction plus importante.

• Utilisez une batterie avec une capacité plus élevée.

• Utilisez le chargeur optimum pour effectuer la recharge des batteries (Consultez votre revendeur local pour des informations complémentaires).

MISE AU POINT, RÉGLAGE ET MAINTENANCE DU VÉHICULE

• Examinez régulièrement votre véhicule.

• Utilisez une brosse pour enlever saletés et poussières.

• Vérifiez si les bras de suspension et les autres parties moulées sontenbon état.

• Recollez les pneus aux roues, si nécessaire.

• Utilisez des outils appropriés pour effectuer les serrages.

• Vérifiez que les liaisons de cambrure et de direction ne sont pas faussées. Remplacez les liaisons endommagées.

• Retirez les amortisseurs et vérifiez s’ils sont abîmés. Remontez-les s’ilsperdent de l’huile.

• Inspectez l’électronique et les batteries pour vérifier si des câblages sont à nu. Réparez les câbles endommagés avec du film plastique, ouremplacez-les.

• Assurez-vous que le contrôleur électronique de vitesse / le récepteur sont bien fixés au châssis.

• Mettez l’émetteur en marche. Si la lumière clignote, remplacez les piles dans l’émetteur.

• Vérifiez si la couronne est usée.

MAINTENANCE

NETTOYAGE DE L’AMORTISSEUR

Les amortisseurs remplis d’huile nécessitent un entretien régulier en raison d’une rupture d’huile ou d’une huile sale. Cette maintenance doit être eectuée toutes les 3 à 5heures d’utilisation environ, en fonction des conditions de conduite.

• Retirez l’amortisseur du véhicule.

• Retirez le capuchon d’amortisseur du corps d’amortisseur et mettez le fluide au rebut.

• Démontez l’amortisseur. Nettoyez soigneusement avec un produit dégraissant sans danger pour le plastique et l’électronique (DYNE50001). Séchez les pièces avant de les remonter.

• Réassemblez l’amortisseur et introduisez dans le corps d’amortisseur du fluide de silicone (poids N° 22,5 recommandé, TLR74003).

• Déplacez lentement l’arbre et le piston vers le haut et vers le bas pour éliminer les bulles d’air.

• Déplacez le piston à mi-parcours du corps et installez le capuchon d’amortisseur.

• Essuyez l’excédent de fluide.

• Réinstallez l’amortisseur sur le véhicule.

AJUSTEMENT DE LA HAUTEUR DE CAISSE

La hauteur de caisse est un réglage qui aecte la façon dont le véhicule saute, tourne et passe sur les bosses. Faites tomber une extrémité du véhicule d’une hauteur d’environ 152mm (6pouces) sur une surface plane. Lorsque vous laissez tomber l’avant du véhicule, assurez-vous que les bras avant sont égaux et parallèles à la surface plane après que le véhicule se soit stabilisé. Faites de même avec l’arrière pour vous assurer que les deux bras sont parallèles à la surface plane.

L’abaissement de la hauteur de caisse avant augmente la direction, mais diminue la traction. L’abaissement de la hauteur de caisse arrière augmente la traction, mais diminue la direction.

NETTOYAGE

Les performances peuvent s’en ressentir si des saletés pénètrent dans les pièces de suspension mobiles. Utilisez de l’air comprimé, un pinceau doux ou une brosse à dents pour enlever la poussière et les saletés. Évitez d’utiliser des solvants ou des produits chimiques car ils peuvent pousser la saleté dans les roulements et les pièces mobiles, et endommager les composants électroniques.

PROGRAMMATION

RÉGLAGE DU MODE DE FONCTIONNEMENT

Le système permet de passer du mode F-B-R (Avant/Frein/Arrière) au mode F-R (Avant et arrière). Le mode par défaut est le mode F-B-R.

1. Lorsque le variateur ESC / récepteur est sous

tension, appuyez sur le bouton et maintenezle enfoncé pendant 3secondes. Le témoin du variateur ESC clignote lentement à intervalles d’1seconde.

2. Relâchez le bouton. Le système passe du mode

F-B-R au mode F-R. Le système invite ensuite l’utilisateur à choisir le mode de fonctionnement en cours.

• ModeF-R: le témoin du variateur ESC clignote deux fois et le moteur émet un bourdonnement.

• Mode F-B-R: le témoin du variateur ESC clignote une fois et le moteur émet un bourdonnement.

RÉGLAGE DU NIVEAU DE FREINAGE/ FORCE DE FREINAGE

1. Lorsque le variateur ESC / récepteur est sous tension, appuyez sur le bouton et maintenezle enfoncé pendant 6secondes. Le témoin du variateur ESC clignote deux fois rapidement, puis s’éteint.

MISE SOUS TENSION/HORS TENSION

• Pour mettre le variateur ESC / récepteur sous tension, appuyez sur le bouton pendant 1seconde. La DEL reste allumée.

• Pour mettre le variateur ESC / récepteur hors tension, appuyez sur le bouton pendant 1seconde. La DEL s’éteint.

2. Relâchez le bouton. Le système passe en mode de

réglage du niveau de freinage/force de freinage. La force de freinage est réglée en mode F-R (Avant et arrière). Le réglage du freinage ou du freinage par poussée s’eectue en mode F-B-R (Avant/Frein/Arrière). Le nombre de clignotements de la DEL et de sons du moteur représente le niveau actuel de force de freinage. Il existe 5 niveaux de force de freinage (0%, 25%, 50%, 75%, 100%), qui peuvent être réglés par cycles. La valeur par défaut est le niveau1, soit une force de freinage de 0%.

3. En mode de réglage du niveau de force de

freinage, appuyez sur le bouton. La force de freinage augmente d’un niveau. REMARQUE: Le nombre de clignotements représente le niveau de force de freinage.

4. Pour quitter le mode de réglage du niveau de

force de freinage, mettez le variateur ESC hors tension. Appuyez sur le bouton et maintenez-le enfoncé pendant 3secondes. Attendez que le témoin du variateur ESC s’éteigne, puis relâchez le bouton pour fermer le système.

5. Mettez le variateur ESC / récepteur sous ten-

sion pour utiliser le nouveau réglage de force de freinage.

PROTECTION BASSE TENSION

Lorsque la tension de la batterie est inférieure à 6,4V, la DEL clignote lentement et la vitesse maximale du moteur est limitée à 50%.

Lorsque la tension de la batterie est inférieure à 6,0V, la DEL clignote lentement et le moteur s’arrête.

PROCÉDURE D’ÉTALONNAGE

Utilisez le SLT2 pour régler le point d’extrémité de course gauche/droite de la direction (ST/CH1) et le point d’extrémité de course avant/arrière de l’accélérateur (TH/CH2).

1. Tournez et maintenez le volant de l’émetteur vers la droite. En même temps, appuyez sur la commande de l’accélérateur et maintenez-la enfoncée vers l’avant. Appuyez sur le bouton d’alimentation de l’émetteur. La DEL rouge de l’émetteur clignote rapidement, indiquant l’état de conﬁguration de l’ajustement des points d’extrémité (EPA).

2. Relâchez le volant de l’émetteur et la commande d’accélérateur pour les mettre en position neutre.

3. Tournez et maintenez le volant de l’émetteur vers la gauche. En même temps, tournez le bouton de taux de direction (SR) dans le sens des aiguilles d’une montre ou dans le sens inverse pour ajouter/réduire le point d’extrémité de direction à gauche.

4. Relâchez le volant de l’émetteur pour le mettre en position neutre.

5. Tournez et maintenez le volant de l’émetteur vers la droite. En même temps, tournez le bouton de taux de direction (SR) dans le sens des aiguilles d’une montre ou dans le sens inverse pour ajouter/réduire le point d’extrémité de direction à droite.

6. Relâchez le volant de l’émetteur pour le mettre en position neutre. REMARQUE: Si vous souhaitez uniquement régler l’EPA de direction, éteignez l’émetteur et tournez le bouton de taux de direction (SR) dans le sens des aiguilles d’une montre jusqu’à sa position maximale. L’EPA de direction se règle sur OK. Si vous souhaitez également régler l’EPA des gaz, passez à l’étape7.

7. Vériﬁez que le commutateur de limite des gaz est à 100%.

8. Tirez la commande d’accélérateur de l’émetteur et maintenez-la en position maximale vers l’arrière. Tournez le bouton de taux de direction (SR) dans le sens des aiguilles d’une montre ou dans le sens inverse pour ajouter/réduire le point d’extrémité des gaz vers l’avant.

9. Relâchez la commande d’accélérateur de l’émetteur pour la mettre en position neutre. Tournez le bouton de taux de direction (SR) dans le sens des aiguilles d’une montre jusqu’à sa position maximale.

10. Poussez la commande d’accélérateur de l’émetteur et maintenez-la en position maximale vers l’avant. Tournez le bouton de taux de direction (SR) dans le sens des aiguilles d’une montre ou dans le sens inverse pour augmenter/réduire les gaz.

11. Relâchez la commande d’accélérateur de l’émetteur pour la mettre en position neutre.

12. Éteignez l’émetteur.

13. Tournez le bouton de taux de direction (SR) dans le sens des aiguilles d’une montre jusqu’à sa position maximale.

RÉTABLISSEMENT DES PARAMÈTRES D’USINE

Pour rétablir les paramètres d’usine:

1. Tournez et maintenez le volant de l’émetteur vers la gauche. En même temps, appuyez sur la commande de l’accélérateur et maintenez-la enfoncée vers l’avant. Appuyez sur le bouton d’alimentation de l’émetteur. La DEL rouge de l’émetteur clignote 4 fois, indiquant que les paramètres d’usine sont rétablis.

2. Relâchez le volant de l’émetteur et la commande d’accélérateur. La DEL rouge de l’émetteur est ﬁxe, ce qui indique que le rétablissement des paramètres d’usine est terminé.

Durée de la garantie – Garantie exclusive – Hori-

zon Hobby, LLC (Horizon) garantit que le Produit acheté (le « Produit ») sera exempt de défauts matériels et de fabrication à sa date d´achat par l´Acheteur. La durée de garantie correspond aux dispositions légales du pays dans lequel le produit a été acquis. La durée de garantie est de 6 mois et la durée d´obligation de garantie de 18 mois à l´expiration de la période de garantie.

En l´absence d´un accord pour la réparation dans un délai de 90 jours, nous nous réservons la possibilité de détruire le produit ou de l´utiliser autrement.

ATTENTION: Nous n´eectuons de réparations payantes que pour les composants électroniques et les moteurs. Questo modello è controllato da un segnale radio potenzialmente soggetto a interferenze da molte fonti che non potete controllare. • Subito dopo l´uso NON toccate componenti del modello quali motore, variatore elettronico o la batteria, perchè si scaldano molto durante il funzionamento. Toccandoli potreste scottarvi.

• Non infilate le dita tra gli ingranaggi del modello o altre parti in rotazione o movimento, poichè questo può causare danni o infortuni gravi.

• Accendete sempre prima la trasmittente e poi la ricevente sul modello. Invece spegnete sempre prima la ricevente e poi la trasmittente.

• Sollevate le ruote del modello da terra quando controllate il corretto funzionamento dell´apparato radio.

VEICOLO RESISTENTE ALL’ACQUA CON ELETTRONICA IMPERMEABILE

Il vostro nuovo veicolo Horizon Hobby è stato progettato e costruito con una combinazione di componenti impermeabili e resistenti all’acqua, per consentirvi di utilizzare il prodotto in molte situazioni “umide,” incluse pozze, ruscelli, erba bagnata, neve e anche pioggia.

Sebbene tutto il veicolo sia altamente resistente all’acqua, tuttavia non è completamente impermeabile e NON si può trattare come fosse un sottomarino. I vari componenti elettronici usati sul veicolo, come il regolatore elettronico di velocità (ESC), i servi e il ricevitore, sono impermeabili, però molti dei componenti meccanici sono solo resistenti all’acqua e non si possono immergere.

Le parti metalliche, inclusi i cuscinetti, le cerniere, viti e dadi, come pure i contatti sui cavi elettrici, sono suscettibili di corrosione se non si fa una particolare manutenzione dopo l’uso sul bagnato. Per prolungare al massimo le prestazioni nel tempo e tenere valida la garanzia, le procedure descritte nella sezione “Manutenzione in condizioni umide,” si devono applicare regolarmente se si sceglie di correre sul bagnato. Se non siete disposti ad eseguire questa manutenzione aggiuntiva, allora dovete evitare di utilizzare il veicolo in queste condizioni.

ATTENZIONE: L’uso incauto di questo

prodotto o il mancato rispetto delle seguenti precauzioni può portare ad un malfunzionamento del prodotto e/o invalidare la garanzia.

PRECAUZIONI GENERALI

• Leggete attentamente le procedure di ma-

nutenzione del vostro veicolo in condizioni umide, per essere sicuri di avere tutte le attrezzature necessarie per questo scopo.

• Non tutte le batterie si possono usare in

condizioni di umidità. Consultate il costruttore delle batterie prima di utilizzarle. Bisogna avere cautela quando si usano le batterie Li-Po in condizioni di bagnato.

• Molti trasmettitori non sono resistenti

all’acqua. Consultate i relativi manuali o il costruttore prima dell’utilizzo.

• Non utilizzate mai il vostro trasmettitore o il

veicolo quando ci sono lampi.

• Non utilizzate il vostro veicolo quando c’è il

rischio che entri in contatto con acqua salata (acqua marina o acqua proveniente da una strada su cui sia stato sparso del sale), acqua contaminata o inquinata. L’acqua salata è molto conduttiva e altamente corrosiva, perciò bisogna usare molta cautela.

• Anche il minimo contatto con l’acqua potrebbe ridurre la vita del vostro motore se non è stato certificato come impermeabile o resistente all’acqua. Se dovesse essere troppo umido, accelerate poco finchè l’acqua non viene rimossa dal motore. Far girare forte un motore bagnato potrebbe danneggiarlo rapidamente.

• Guidare sul bagnato può ridurre la vita del motore. La resistenza aggiuntiva in queste condizioni causa uno sforzo eccessivo. Modificate il rapporto di riduzione diminuendo il pignone o aumentando la corona. Questo aumenta la coppia (e la vita del motore) quando si utilizza il veicolo nel fango, in pozzanghere profonde o qualsiasi altra situazione in cui l’umidità possa aumentare il carico del motore per lungo tempo.

MANUTENZIONE IN CONDIZIONI UMIDE

• Scaricare l’acqua raccolta negli pneumatici facendoli girare ad alta velocità. Togliere la carrozzeria e rovesciare il veicolo, poi dare alcune brevi accelerate finché l’acqua non viene rimossa.

ATTENZIONE: Durante l’operazione

precedente, tenere sempre lontano dalle parti rotanti mani, dita, attrezzi o altri oggetti liberi di muoversi.

• Togliere la batteria ed asciugarne i contatti.

Se avete un compressore o una bombola di

aria compressa, soffiate via l’eventuale acqua rimasta all’interno del connettore.

• Smontate le ruote/gomme dal veicolo e risciacquatele con attenzione per togliere il fango e la polvere usando un getto di acqua. Evitate di risciacquare i cuscinetti e la trasmissione.

AVVISO: Non usare acqua sotto pressione per pulire il vostro veicolo.

• Usate un compressore o una bombola di aria compressa per asciugare il veicolo e togliere i residui di acqua eventualmente rimasti nelle piccole fessure e negli angoli.

• Spruzzare un olio impermeabilizzante o un lubrificante su cuscinetti, elementi di fissaggio e altre parti metalliche. Non spruzzare sul motore.

• Lasciate che il veicolo si asciughi all’aria prima di riporlo. L’acqua (e l’olio) continuerà a sgocciolare per alcune ore.

• Smontate il veicolo più di frequente, ispezionando e lubrificando le parti seguenti:

» I cuscinetti dei mozzi sugli assi anteriore e

posteriore.

» Tutte le scatole di trasmissione, ingranaggi e

dierenziali.

» Pulite il motore con un adatto prodotto aero-

sol e rilubriﬁcate le boccole con olio leggero per motore.

AVVERTIMENTI PER LA CARICA

AVVERTENZA: Se non si utilizza questo

prodotto con attenzione e non si osservano le seguenti avvertenze potrebbero veriﬁcarsi malfunzionamenti del prodotto, problemi elettrici, eccessivo sviluppo di calore, incendi e, in deﬁnitiva, lesioni e danni materiali.

• NON LASCIARE MAI INCUSTODITE LE BAT-

TERIE IN CARICA DURANTE L’USO.

• NON CARICARE MAI LE BATTERIE DURANTE

LA NOTTE SENZA SUPERVISIONE.

• L’alimentazione elettrica deve fornire potenza a

bassissima tensione di sicurezza (SELV).

• Non tentare mai di caricare batterie fuori uso,

danneggiate o bagnate.

• Non tentare mai di caricare un pacco batteria

composto da batterie di tipo diverso.

• Non consentire ai minori di 14 anni di caricare i

pacchi batteria.

• Non caricare mai le batterie in luoghi estrema-

mente caldi o freddi o esposti alla luce diretta del sole.

• Non caricare mai una batteria se il cavo è schi-

acciato o in cortocircuito.

• Non collegare mai il caricabatterie se il cavo di

alimentazione è schiacciato o in cortocircuito.

• Non collegare mai il caricabatterie a una batteria di automobile da 12 V, mentre il veicolo è acceso.

• Non tentare mai di smontare il caricabatterie o di utilizzare un caricabatterie danneggiato.

• Non connettere mai il caricabatterie a una fonte di alimentazione C.A. e C.C. contemporaneamente.

• Non collegare mai la presa di ingresso (ingresso C.C.) alla corrente alternata.

• Utilizzare sempre batterie ricaricabili progettate per l’utilizzo con questo tipo di caricabatterie nella modalità di programmazione corretta.

• Controllare sempre la batteria prima di caricarla.

• Tenere sempre la batteria lontana da qualsiasi materiale che possa essere alterato dal calore.

• Controllare sempre la zona di ricarica e tenere in ogni momento un estintore a disposizione.

• Terminare sempre il processo di carica se le batterie scottano al tatto o iniziano a deformarsi (gonfiarsi) durante il procedimento di carica.

• Collegare sempre prima il cavo al caricabatterie, poi collegare la batteria per evitare

un cortocircuito fra i cavi del caricabatterie. Invertire la sequenza delle operazioni per la disconnessione.

• Collegare sempre correttamente il cavo positivo (+) al rosso e il negativo (–) al nero.

• Finita la carica scollegare sempre la batteria e lasciare raffreddare il caricabatterie tra una carica e l’altra.

• Caricare sempre in aree ben ventilate.

• Interrompere sempre qualsiasi processo e rivolgersi a Horizon Hobby se il prodotto funziona male.

• Caricare solo batterie ricaricabili. Le batterie non ricaricabili possono esplodere, causando lesioni personali e/o danni materiali.

• La presa di corrente deve essere installata vicino all’apparecchio, e deve essere facilmente accessibile.

CARICARE LA BATTERIA DI BORDO

AVVERTENZA: Non lasciare mai incusto-

dito il caricabatterie, non superare la corrente di carica massima, non eettuare la carica di batterie non approvate o caricare le batterie in modo sbagliato. Il mancato rispetto di queste disposizioni può comportare un calore eccessivo, incendi e lesioni gravi.

ATTENZIONE: veriﬁcare sempre che la

batteria sotto carica soddisﬁ le speciﬁche di questo caricabatterie e che le impostazioni del caricabatterie siano corrette. Non farlo potrebbe portare a un eccessivo calore e ad altre disfunzioni del prodotto, che potrebbero portare a lesioni per l’utente o a danni alla proprietà. Rivolgersi a Horizon Hobby o a un rivenditore autorizzato per domande sulla compatibilità.

AVVISO: controllare attentamente la batteria per assicurarsi che non sia danneggiata in alcun modo (es. rigonﬁamenti, piegature, rotture, fori). Caricare solo batterie che risultano fredde al tatto e che non sono danneggiate.

Caricare sempre la batteria del veicolo prima di guidare.

1. Inserire il caricabatterie nella porta USB.

2. Collegare la batteria al caricabatterie.

Scollegare la batteria dal caricabatterie una volta completata la carica.

ATTENZIONE: usare solo caricabatterie

speciﬁcamente progettati per le batterie Li-Po. L’inosservanza di tale indicazione può comportare incendi con conseguenti lesioni e danni.

AVVIO RAPIDO

Si prega di leggere completamente il manuale per comprendere appieno il Losi® Micro-T, ottimizzare la conﬁgurazione ed eseguire la manutenzione.

1. Leggere le precauzioni per la sicurezza che si trovano in questo manuale.

2. Caricare la batteria del veicolo. Fare riferimento alle avvertenze per la carica e a tutte le informazioni riguardanti la carica, comprese in questo manuale.

3. Installare nel trasmettitore le pile AA. Usare solo pile alcaline o batterie ricaricabili.

4. Montare sul veicolo la batteria completamente carica.

ATTENZIONE: non eccedere mai il tasso di carica raccomandato.

ATTENZIONE: Completata la ricarica,

rimuovere immediatamente la batteria. Non lasciare mai la batteria collegata al caricatore.

5. Sistemare il veicolo su una superﬁcie piana e accendere prima la trasmittente e poi il veicolo. Prima di spostare il veicolo, attendere 5 secondi per consentire l’inizializzazione all’ESC e al ricevitore AVS. Accendere sempre il trasmettitore prima del veicolo e spegnerlo dopo aver spento il veicolo.

6. Veriﬁcare che i comandi e i servi che li controllano si muovano nella giusta direzione.

7. Guidare il veicolo.

8. Eseguire tutte le manutenzioni necessarie.

INSTALLARE LE BATTERIE DELLA TRASMITTENTE

Per questo trasmittente servono 4 pile AA.

1. Togliere il coperchio del portapile della trasmittente.

2. Inserire le pile come illustrato.

3. Rimettere a posto il coperchio del portapile.

ATTENZIONE: non rimuovere MAI le

batterie dalla trasmittente se il modello è accesso. Farlo potrebbe causare perdita di controllo del modello, danni e lesioni.

ATTENZIONE: se le batterie vengono

sostituite con tipi non adatti, potrebbero esplodere. Le batterie si devono smaltire nel modo corretto secondo le disposizioni locali.

FUNZIONI DELLA TRASMITTENTE

1. Volantino controlla la direzione di marcia (sinis-

tra/destra) del modello

2. Acceleratore controlla velocità e direzione (avanti/freno/retromarcia) del modello

3. Pulsante di accensione accende/spegne l’alimentazione

4. Inversione servo dello sterzo (ST-R) inverte il canale dello sterzo

5. Limite acceleratore limita la potenza del motore al 50/75/100% Selezionare 50% o 75% per i piloti meno esperti e quando lo spazio disponibile è limitato

• Luce rossa fissa—connessione radio pre-

sente e carica della batteria adeguata

• Luce rossa lampeggiante—tensione batteria insufficiente. Sostituire le batterie.

BINDING

Il binding è la procedura di programmazione con la quale il ricevitore impara a riconoscere il codice identiﬁcativo universalmente univoco GUID (Globally Unique Identiﬁer) della trasmittente a cui viene associato. Trasmittente e ricevitore sono associati tra loro già in fabbrica. Se è necessario ripetere il binding, seguire le istruzioni riportate qui di seguito:

1. Collegare una batteria completamente carica all’ESC/ricevitore.

2. Accendere il regolatore/ricevitore, tenendo premuto il pulsante per 3 secondi ﬁnché la luce rossa non lampeggia rapidamente.

3. Accendere la trasmittente. Il LED rosso del ricevitore/ESC rimane acceso ﬁsso una volta terminato con successo il binding.

4. Spegnere l’ESC/ricevitore per salvare le impostazioni.

5. Spegnere la trasmittente.

È necessario ripetere il binding se il ricevitore viene associato ad altra trasmittente.

AVVISO: non provare a collegare trasmittente e ricevitore se in un raggio di 120 metri vi sono altre trasmittenti compatibili attive in modalità di binding. Vi è il rischio che il ricevitore si associ a una trasmittente che non è la propria.

PRECAUZIONI NELLA GUIDA

• Durante la guida mantenere sempre il veicolo

bene in vista.

• Periodicamente ispezionare bene il veicolo per

controllare eventuali viti allentate.

• Periodicamente ispezionare bene il gruppo

dello sterzo per verificare i giochi. La guida in fuori strada è fonte di colpi e vibrazioni.

• Non mandare il veicolo nell’erba alta, perché si

potrebbe danneggiare sia la parte meccanica che quella elettronica.

• Smettere di guidare quando si nota una diminuzi-

ESEGUIRE UN CONTROLLO DELLA DIREZIONE DEI COMANDI

Eseguire una veriﬁca con le ruote del veicolo sollevate dal suolo. Se le ruote girano appena dopo che il veicolo è stato acceso, regolare il ST TRIM ﬁnché si fermano. Per far muovere le ruote in avanti, tirare il grilletto. Per invertire il moto, attendere che le ruote si fermino, poi spingere il grilletto. Quando si muovono in avanti, le ruote dovrebbero mantenere una linea diritta senza intervenire sullo sterzo. In caso contrario, regolare lo ST TRIM per correggere.

PRIMA DI USARE IL VEICOLO

1. Veriﬁcare che tutto il sistema delle sospensioni si muova liberamente. Qualsiasi parte bloccata o frenata non permette al veicolo di dare le sue prestazioni migliori.

2. Caricare la batteria. Caricare sempre la batteria come dalle istruzioni allegate alla batteria o al caricabatterie.

3. Controllare che i dadi delle ruote non siano allentati.

4. Settare il trim dello sterzo. Seguire le istruzioni su come settare il trim/subtrim, in modo che il vostro veicolo viaggi dritto senza dover agire sul radiocomando.

5. Eseguire un controllo della direzione dei comandi.

IMPORTANTE: veriﬁcare la presenza di vincoli nella trasmissione e veriﬁcare che il veicolo si muova liberamente.

INSTALLARE LA BATTERIA E ACCENDERE IL VEICOLO

IMPORTANTE: il veicolo DEVE trovarsi su una superﬁcie piatta e a livello e

rimanere fermo per almeno 5 secondi. IMPORTANTE: tenere i ﬁli lontano dalle parti in movimento.

1. Centrare il quadrante TH TRIM sulla trasmittente.

2. Rimuovere la carrozzeria, sollevandola dal telaio.

3. Inserire una batteria a piena carica sul veicolo.

4. Fissare la batteria con una fascetta in plastica.

5. Accendere la trasmittente.

6. Collegare la batteria all’est/ricevitore.

IMPORTANTE: Fissare i ﬁli dell’ESC in modo che non interferiscano con l’albero di trasmissione.

7. Accendere l’ESC/ricevitore.

8. Reinstallare il corpo, ﬁssandolo con la linguetta a strappo inclusa.

TEMPO DI UTILIZZO

Il fattore più importante nel tempo di funzionamento è la capacità della batteria; più sono i mAh contenuti, maggiore sarà il tempo di utilizzo per ogni carica.

Anche le condizioni di una batteria hanno inﬂuenza sia sulla durata che sulla velocità. I connettori della batteria potrebbero scaldarsi durante il funzionamento. Le batterie perdono le loro caratteristiche man mano che si usano.

Ripetute partenze da fermo con accelerazioni violenti, nel tempo possono danneggiare sia la batteria che i componenti elettronici. Le forti accelerazioni riducono anche il tempo di utilizzo per ogni singola ricarica.

SPEGNIMENTO DEL MODELLO

1. Spegnere l’ESC.

2. Spegnere la trasmittente.

3. Rimuovere e caricare le batterie.

IMPORTANTE: tenere i ﬁli lontani da tutte le parti in movimento. Dopo aver guidato il veicolo, lasciare rareddare l’elettronica prima di guidare nuovamente il veicolo.

PER MIGLIORARE LA DURATA DI FUNZIONAMENTO

• Mantenere il veicolo sempre pulito e con una frequente manutenzione.

• Favorire il flusso dell’aria sull’ESC e sul motore.

• Cambiare gli ingranaggi per avere una riduzione più alta e diminuire le temperature delle parti elettroniche. Quindi usare un pignone più piccolo o una corona più grande per aumentare la riduzione.

• Usare una batteria con maggiore capacità in mAh.

• Usare un caricabatterie adatto alla batteria usata (consultare il proprio rivenditore per maggiori informazioni).

REGOLAZIONI, MIGLIORAMENTI E MANUTENZIONE

• Controllare regolarmente le condizioni del veicolo.

• Rimuovere lo sporco e la polvere con uno spazzolino.

• Verificare l’assenza di danni ai bracci di sospensione e ad altri pezzi saldati.

• Incollare nuovamente gli pneumatici alle ruote, se necessario.

• Stringere gli elementi di fissaggio con gli utensili opportuni.

• Assicurarsi che i leveraggi dello sterzo e del camber non siano piegati. Sostituire le eventuali parti piegate.

• Rimuovere gli ammortizzatori e verificare l’assenza di danni. Ricostruire gli ammortizzatori in caso di perdita d’olio.

• Verificare l’assenza di cavi scoperti nella parti elettroniche e nelle batterie. Riparare i cavi scoperti con guaina retrattile o sostituirli.

• Assicurarsi che l’ESC / il ricevitore siano fissati saldamente allo chassis. Sostituire il nastro biadesivo, se necessario.

• Accendere le trasmettitore. Se la luce lampeggia, sostituire le pile nel trasmettitore.

• Verificare che l’ingranaggio cilindrico non sia usurato.

MANUTENZIONE

In caso di domande non trattate nelle sezioni relative alla risoluzione dei problemi e alla manutenzione, contattare il reparto di assistenza ai prodotti Horizon di competenza.

PULIZIA AMMORTIZZATORI

Gli ammortizzatori a olio richiedono una manutenzione regolare a causa della rottura o dello sporco dell'olio. Questa manutenzione deve essere eseguita ogni 3-5 ore di utilizzo, a seconda delle condizioni di guida.

• Rimuovere l’ammortizzatore dal modello.

• Rimuovere il tappo dell'ammortizzatore dal corpo dell'ammortizzatore e smaltire il liquido.

• Smontare l’ammortizzatore. Pulire accuratamente con sgrassatore adatto per plastica e componenti elettronici (DYNE50001). Asciugare le parti prima del montaggio.

• Riassemblare l'ammortizzatore e riempire il corpo dell'ammortizzatore con il liquido siliconico (peso consigliato 22,5, TLR74003).

• Muovere lentamente l'albero e il pistone verso l'alto e verso il basso per eliminare le bolle d'aria.

• Portare il pistone a metà del corpo e installare il tappo dell'ammortizzatore.

• Asciugare il liquido che trabocca.

• Rimontare l'ammortizzatore sul veicolo.

REGOLAZIONE ALTEZZA DI MARCIA

L'altezza di marcia è una regolazione che inﬂuisce sul modo in cui il veicolo salta, gira e supera le asperità. Lasciare cadere un’estremità del veicolo da un'altezza di circa 6 pollici (152 mm) su una superﬁcie piana. Quando si lascia cadere la parte anteriore del veicolo, dopo che il veicolo si è assestato, assicurarsi che i bracci anteriori siano uguali e paralleli alla superﬁcie piana. Procedere allo stesso modo con la parte posteriore per assicurarsi che entrambi i bracci siano paralleli alla superﬁcie piana.

L'abbassamento dell'altezza di marcia anteriore aumenta la sterzata, ma diminuisce la trazione. L'abbassamento dell'altezza di marcia posteriore aumenta la trazione, ma riduce la sterzata.

PULIZIA

La presenza di sporco sulle parti in movimento delle sospensioni può comportare un peggioramento delle prestazioni. Per rimuovere lo sporco ela polvere, utilizzare aria compressa, un pennello morbido o uno spazzolino da denti. Evitare l’uso di solventi o detergenti chimici, che possono portare lo sporco all’interno dei cuscinetti e delle parti in movimento, nonché danneggiare le parti elettroniche.

PROGRAMMAZIONE

IMPOSTAZIONE DELLA MODALITÀ DI MARCIA

Il sistema supporta il passaggio tra le modalità F-BR (Forward-Brake-Reverse) e F-R (Forward-Reverse). L’impostazione predeﬁnita è la modalità F-B-R.

1. Con l’ESC/ricevitore acceso, tenere premuto il

pulsante per 3 secondi. L’indicatore ESC lampeggia lentamente a intervalli di 1 secondo.

2. Rilasciare il pulsante. Il sistema passa da F-B-R

a F-R. Il sistema avvisa quindi l’utente in base alla modalità di marcia corrente.

• Modalità F-R: l’indicatore ESC lampeggia due volte, accompagnato dal ronzio del motore.

• Modalità F-B-R: l’indicatore ESC lampeggia una volta, accompagnato dal ronzio del motore.

IMPOSTAZIONE DEL DRAG BRAKE/ LIVELLO FRENO

1. Con l’ESC/ricevitore acceso, tenere premuto il pulsante per 6 secondi. L’indicatore ESC lampeggia due volte velocemente, quindi si spegne.

2. Rilasciare il pulsante. Il sistema entra in modalità di impostazione del livello del drag brake.

ACCENSIONE / SPEGNIMENTO

• Per accendere l’ESC/ricevitore, tenere premuto il pulsante per 1 secondo. Il LED rimane acceso.

• Per spegnere l’ESC/ricevitore, tenere premuto il pulsante per 1 secondo. Il LED si spegne.

Il freno di trascinamento viene regolato in modalità F-R. Il freno o il freno a spinta vengono regolati se in modalità F-B-R.. Il numero di lampeggi del LED e di suoni emessi dal motore rappresenta la forza frenante impostata per il drag brake. Il drag brake ha 5 impostazioni per la forza frenante (0%, 25%, 50%, 75%, 100%), regolabili in cicli. L’impostazione predeﬁnita è il livello 1, equivalente a una forza frenante dello 0%.

3. Nella modalità di impostazione del livello del

drag brake, premere il pulsante . Il livello di forza frenante aumenta di un livello. NOTA: il numero di lampeggi rappresenta il livello di forza frenante del drag brake.

4. Per uscire dalla modalità di impostazione del

livello del drag brake, spegnere l’ESC. Tenere premuto il pulsante per 3 secondi. Attendere che la spia ESC si spenga, quindi rilasciare il pulsante per chiudere il sistema.

5. Accendere l’ESC/ricevitore per utilizzare la nuo-

va impostazione del drag brake.

PROCEDURA DI CALIBRAZIONE

Utilizzare l'SLT2 per regolare il punto di ﬁne corsa sinistro/destro dello sterzo (ST/CH1) e il punto di ﬁne corsa avanti/indietro dell'acceleratore (TH/CH2).

1. Girare e tenere premuto il volante del trasmettitore verso destra. Contemporaneamente, spingere e tenere premuto il grilletto dell'acceleratore in avanti. Premere il pulsante di accensione della trasmettente. Il LED rosso del trasmettitore lampeggia rapidamente, indicando lo stato dell'impostazione EPA.

2. Rilasciare il volante del trasmettitore e il grilletto dell'acceleratore in posizione neutra.

3. Girare e mantenere la ruota sterzante della trasmittente tutto a sinistra. Contemporaneamente, ruotare la manopola del tasso di sterzata (SR) in senso orario/antiorario per aggiungere/ ridurre il punto ﬁnale di sterzata a sinistra.

4. Rilasciare il volante del trasmettitore in posizione neutra.

5. Girare e tenere premuto il volante del trasmettitore verso destra. Contemporaneamente, ruotare la manopola della velocità di sterzata (SR) in senso orario/antiorario per aggiungere/ ridurre il punto ﬁnale di sterzata destro.

6. Rilasciare il volante del trasmettitore in posizione neutra. NOTA: Se si desidera solo regolare l'EPA dello sterzo, spegnere il trasmettitore e ruotare la manopola della velocità di sterzo (SR) in senso orario ﬁno alla posizione massima. ST EPA darà il risultato OK. Se si desidera regolare anche l'EPA dell'acceleratore, procedere al passaggio 7.

7. Veriﬁcare che il ﬁnecorsa dell'acceleratore sia al 100%.

8. Tirare e tenere premuto il grilletto dell'acceleratore del trasmettitore nella posizione più arretrata possibile. Ruotare la manopola del tasso di sterzata (SR) in senso orario/antiorario per aumentare/diminuire il punto ﬁnale dell'acceleratore in avanti.

9. Rilasciare il grilletto dell’acceleratore della trasmittente in posizione neutra. Ruotare la manopola del tasso di sterzata (SR) in senso orario ﬁno alla posizione massima.

10. Premere e tenere premuto il grilletto dell'acceleratore della trasmetttente nella posizione più avanzata possibile. Ruotare la manopola del tasso di sterzata (SR) in senso orario/antiorario per aumentare/diminuire l'acceleratore.

11. Rilasciare il grilletto dell'acceleratore della trasmettente nella posizione naturale.

12. Spegnere la trasmittente.

13. Ruotare la manopola del tasso di sterzata (SR) in senso orario ﬁno alla posizione massima.

RIPRISTINO DELLE IMPOSTAZIONI DI FABBRICA

Per ripristinare le impostazioni di fabbrica:

1. Girare e mantenere la ruota sterzante della trasmittente tutto a sinistra. Contemporaneamente, spingere e tenere premuto il grilletto dell'acceleratore in avanti. Premere il pulsante di accensione della trasmettente. Il LED rosso del trasmettitore lampeggia 4 volte, indicando che le impostazioni di fabbrica sono state ripristinate.

2. Rilasciare la ruota sterzante della trasmettente e il grilletto dell'acceleratore. Il LED rosso della trasmettente si illumina in modo ﬁsso, indicando che il ripristino delle impostazioni di fabbrica è stato completato.

Periodo di garanzia – Garanzia esclusiva - Horizon Hobby, LLC (Horizon) garantisce che il prodotto acquistato (il “Prodotto”) sarà privo di difetti relativi ai materiali e di eventuali errori di montaggio alla data di acquisto. Il periodo di garanzia è conforme alle disposizioni legali del paese nel quale il prodotto è stato acquistato. Tale periodo di garanzia ammonta a 6 mesi e si estende ad altri 18 mesi dopo tale termine.

Limiti della garanzia – (a) La garanzia è limitata all´acquirente originale (Acquirente) e non è cedibile a terzi. L´acquirente ha il diritto a far riparare o a far sostituire la merce durante il periodo di questa garanzia. La garanzia copre solo quei prodotti acquistati presso un rivenditore autorizzato Horizon. Altre transazioni di terze parti non sono coperte da questa garanzia. La prova di acquisto è necessaria per far valere il diritto di garanzia. Inoltre, Horizon si riserva il diritto di cambiare o modiﬁcare i termini di questa garanzia senza alcun preavviso e di escludere tutte le altre garanzie già esistenti.

Limiti di danno – Horizon non si riterrà responsabile per danni speciali, diretti, indiretti o

consequenziali; perdita di proﬁtto o di produzione; perdita commerciale connessa al prodotto, indipendentemente dal fatto che la richiesta si basa su un contratto o sulla garanzia. Inoltre la responsabilità di Horizon non supera mai in nessun caso il prezzo di acquisto del prodotto per il quale si chiede la responsabilità. Domande, assistenza e riparazioni – Il vostro negozio locale e/o luogo di acquisto non possono fornire garanzie di assistenza o riparazione senza previo colloquio con Horizon. Questo vale anche per le riparazioni in garanzia. Quindi in tale casi bisogna interpellare un rivenditore, che si metterà in contatto subito con Horizon per prendere una decisione che vi possa aiutare nel più breve tempo possibile.

Manutenzione e riparazione – Se il prodotto deve essere ispezionato o riparato, si prega di rivolgersi ad un rivenditore specializzato o direttamente ad Horizon. Il prodotto deve essere imballato con cura. Bisogna far notare che i box originali solitamente non sono adatti per eettuare una spedizione senza subire alcun danno. Bisogna eettuare una spedizione via corriere che fornisce una tracciabilità e un´assicurazione, in quanto Horizon non si assume alcuna responsabilità in relazione

alla spedizione del prodotto. Inserire il prodotto in una busta assieme ad una descrizione dettagliata degli errori e ad una lista di tutti i singoli componenti spediti. Inoltre abbiamo bisogno di un indirizzo completo, di un numero di telefono per chiedere ulteriori domande e di un indirizzo e-mail.

Garanzia a riparazione – Le richieste in garanzia verranno elaborate solo se è presente una prova d´acquisto in originale proveniente da un rivenditore specializzato autorizzato, nella quale è ben visibile la data di acquisto. Se la garanzia viene confermata, allora il prodotto verrà riparato o sostituito. Questa decisione spetta esclusivamente a Horizon Hobby.

Riparazioni a pagamento – Se bisogna eettuare una riparazione a pagamento, eettueremo un preventivo che verrà inoltrato al vostro

rivenditore. La riparazione verrà eettuata dopo l´autorizzazione da parte del vostro rivenditore. La somma per la riparazione dovrà essere pagata al vostro rivenditore. Le riparazioni a pagamento avranno un costo minimo di 30 minuti di lavoro e in fattura includeranno le spese di restituzione. Qualsiasi riparazione non pagata e non richiesta entro 90 giorni verrà considerata abbandonata e verrà gestita di conseguenza.

ATTENZIONE: Le riparazioni a pagamento sono disponibili solo sull´elettronica e sui motori. Le riparazioni a livello meccanico, soprattutto per gli elicotteri e le vetture RC, sono molto costose e devono essere eettuate autonomamente dall´acquirente.
