Getting Started
The SHS System comes with the following components:
• 1 x 7” LCD Monitor
• 2 x Weather resistant Color Day/Night* IR Cameras with Stand
• 2 x 60’ Extension Cables
• 1 x AV Cable
• 2 x Phone Jack RCA Cables
• 1 x Monitor Stand
• 1 x Wall Mounting Bracket
• 1 x Power Adapter

Connect the short phone jack
RCA Cable to the bottom of the
monitor.

Connect one end of the power adaptor to the
power outlet and the other end to the monitor
* IR illumination range up to 13ft. (4M) under ideal conditions. Objects at
or beyond this range may be partially or completely obscured depending on
the camera application. Picture changes from Color to B&W under low light
conditions.

A. Connect Cameras
Before you install the camera, carefully plan where and how you will position the camera, and where you will route the cables.
Connect the DIN female end of the supplied 60’

extension cables to the cameras.
NOTE: Confirm that the arrows on the DIN Camera Cable and the
DIN Extension cable are aligned when connecting the cable. If the
pins in the DIN Cable are bent, the Camera will NOT function.

Connect the other end of the extension cables to
the short phone jack RCA Cables.

OPTIONAL STEP
Connect the phone jack end of the Audio/Video Cable to the A/V Output at the
bottom of the monitor. Connect the other end (Video - Yellow, Audio - White)
to your TV/VCR or Monitor (not included).

Turn ON the monitor by pressing the Power ON/Off button located on the side of the monitor.
Channel Display LED Indicator:
• Select the channel you wish to watch by pressing the channel selection button on the monitor. A permanent
green light will appear in the relevant channel (1 or 2).
• Press the channel selection again to switch to the second channel.
• Press one more time for an auto switching mode. Green light will flash.
