Explanation of two Symbols
The lightning flash with arrowhead symbol, within an equilateral triangle, is intended to alert the user to
the presence of uninsulated “dangerous voltage” within the product’s enclosure that may be of
sufficient magnitude to constitute a risk of electric shock to persons.
The exclamation point within an equilateral triangle is intended to alert the user to the presence of
important operating and maintenance (servicing) instructions in the literature accompanying the
appliance.
THE GRAPHIC SYMBOLS WITH SUPPLEMENTAL MARKING ARE ON THE BOTTOM OF THE SYSTEM.
WARNING: To prevent fire or shock hazard, do not expose this appliance to rain, water, or wet locations. Do
not insert any metallic object through the ventilation grills.
IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
This wireless A/V equipment is provided with a polarized alternating-current line plug (a plug having one blade wider
than the other). This plug will fit into the power outlet only one way. This is a safety feature. If you are unable to insert
the plug fully into the outlet, try reversing the plug. If the plug still fails to fit, contact your electrician to replace your
obsolete outlet. Do not defeat the safety purpose of the polarized plug.

Introduction:
Congratulations on the purchase of the SG100 weatherproof video security camera. This camera is designed for indoor
use (such as in a hallway or room), or outdoor use (such as under an eaves trough or overhang). The camera easily
connects to any LOREX or SYLVANIA 2.4GHz wireless security system, allowing you to see and hear events at the
camera location. Please read the installation and operating instructions of this manual, and keep it for future reference.

• Built-in auto iris automatically adjusts camera to different lighting conditions

• Listen-in audio communication from camera
Preparing the camera for use with a LOREX/SYLVANIA wireless security system:
1. Mount the camera to a wall or other desired mounting surface
2. Connect the camera lead to the 12V adaptor
3. Plug the DC adaptor into an electrical outlet
Selecting a channel:
In order to view your wireless camera, the channel you select must correspond with an available channel on your
receiver. (The camera has been pre-set at channel 1.)
1. Fully loosen screw #1 and halfway loosen screw #2 (see diagram below).
2. Remove the small plastic cover from the camera casing while holding screw #2 in position.
3. Remove the rubber ring from inside the casing and locate the two-pin dip switch.

4. Use a small screw driver to adjust the dip switch pins to your desired channel. (See diagram.)

4. (a) For example, if you would like to set the camera to channel 2, move the upper dipswitch pin to the right
position and the lower pin to the left position. (See diagram.)
5. Before replacing the dip switch cover, check the camera picture on your TV/monitor to confirm if it is working
properly. Speak into the microphone to check the sound function as well.
