1. How do I get my System out of Demo Mode?
My system seems to be in Demo Mode - how do I get my unit back into Regular Mode?
To exit from Demo mode, Press the ENTER on the REMOTE CONTROL 10 times - this will stop Demo Mode. If the ENTER button is pressed 10 times in regular mode, the unit will enter Demo Mode.
2. Are the Cameras Waterproof?
Can I put the cameras outside my house or office?
This system comes with two different types of cameras - Three (3) Bullet Cameras (Model MC-117) and One (1) Dome Camera (MC-7125):
• The Bullet cameras are Weather Resistant (rated IP44) against dust and light water spray. These cameras are not designed to be directly exposed to water and should ideally be placed under an overhang or a protected area.
• The Dome camera is designed for indoor use only - this camera should NOT be placed outdoors.
3. What is the maximum distance between the System and the Cameras?
I would like to know what length of cable I can use with my System.
The maximum length of cable that can be used between the Camera and the Monitor is 300’ (91.5m) using High Performance DIN Cables.
4. How many cameras can I connect to this System?
I would like to know the maximum number of cameras I can use with this system.
Up to 4 Cameras can be connected to the Observation System. The Cameras can be viewed individually, or in Quad Mode (4 cameras in split screen view).
5. What types of Cameras can I use with my system?
I would like to know what type of Cameras I can use with this system.
