Thank you for purchasing this Wireless N 3dBi High Gain USB Adapter! Before you
start to use this product, please check every item in the package. If any of them is
missing, please ask your dealer of purchase for a new package.

3. Network Card Installation
Please follow the following
instructions to install your new
USB wireless network card.
2). The following message will appear on
your computer, click ‘Cancel’.
3). Insert device driver
CDROM into the CD/DVD
ROM drive of your
computer, and execute
‘Setup.exe’ program.
Please read the end user
license agreement and
click ‘I accept the terms of
the license agreement’ and
‘Next’ to accept license
agreement.
5). You can choose the
configuration tool used to
configure the wireless
network card here. It’s
recommended to select
‘Ralink Configuration Tool’,
which provides fully access
to all functions of this
wireless network card. If
you prefer to use the
wireless configuration tool
provided by Windows XP or
Vista, please select
‘Microsoft Zero
Configuration Tool’ then
click ‘Next’.
6). Now you’ll see the
following message, please
click ‘Install’ to begin the
installation. If you see
‘Found New Hardware’
message again, please
ignore it and wait.
4. Connect to Wireless Access Point
Using Configuration Utility to Connect to Wireless Access Point:
1). After installation is complete, wireless configuration utility will be shown in the
desktop of your computer automatically. You will also see an icon at the lower-right
corner of your windows system. You can click the icon by right mouse key, and
select the configuration utility you want to use or switch the network card to AP
mode.
2). Configuration utility will scan for wireless access points and access to any
unencrypted wireless access point automatically. If you wish to connect to another
access point, select the access point and click ‘Connect’.
If the wireless access point you want to connect does not show here, please click
‘Rescan’.
NOTE: In Vista, the network card will not connect to any unencrypted wireless
access point automatically.
4). If the wireless access point is successfully connected, you’ll see a ► symbol
appears in front of the name of wireless device.
For advanced settings and other features of this USB wireless network card, please
refer to user manual enclosed in supplied CD-ROM.

3.0 Installation

3). If the wireless access point uses encryption, you have to input WEP key or WPA
preshared key. Please ask the owner of the wireless access point you want to
connect and input the correct key here, and then click ‘OK’. If the value you
inputted here is wrong, you will not be able to connect to wireless access point.

2.0 Packungsinhalt

2). Die folgende Nachricht können Sie mit
„Cancel“ schließen.
3). Legen Sie beiliegende CD
in Ihr CD-ROM-Laufwerk
und starten Sie das
„Setup.exe“ Programm.
Beachten Sie die
Nutzungsbedingungen,
bestätigen Sie diese mit „I
accept the terms of the
license agreement” und
„Next“ um fortzufahren.
5). An diesem Punkt können
Sie das zu verwendende
Tool zur Konfiguration
auswählen. Es wird
empfohlen, das „Ralink
Configuration Tool“ zu
verwenden, das Ihnen alle
Funktionen des WL0064 zur
Verfügung stellt. Wenn Sie
das Wireless Configuration
Tool von Windows XP/Vista

diese erneut ignorieren und
schließen.
4.0 WLAN Verbindung
Verwendung des „Ralink Configuration Tools“
1). Nach der Installation öffnet sich das „Ralink Configuration Tool“ automatisch.
Weiterhin wird ein Symbol in der System Tray angezeigt. Klicken Sie mit der
rechten Maustaste auf das Symbol um das Konfigurationstool auszuwählen oder
den WL0064 in den AP-Mode zu bringen.
2). Das Konfigurations Tool scannt automatisch nach WLAN Acces Points und
verbindet sich automatisch mit unverschlüsselten WLAN-Netzwerken (NICHT
unter Windows Vista).
Wenn Sie sich mit einem anderen WLAN verbinden möchten, wählen Sie Ihr
entsprechendes WLAN aus und bestätigen Sie mit „Connect“. Sollte Ihr WLAN
nicht angezeigt werden so klicken Sie „Rescan“.
4). Wenn Sie sich erfolgreich mit dem ausgewählten WLAN verbunden haben,
erscheint ein Symbol ► vor dem Namen des entsprechenden WLAN’s.

Bedienungsanleitung auf der CD.

2. Instalación de la tarjeta de red
Por favor, siga las siguientes
instrucciones para instalar su

1). Inserte la tarjeta de red
inalámbrica USB de un

2. Instalacja karty sieciowej

3. Podłączenie do bezprzewodowego punktu
dostępowego
Korzystanie z narzędzia konfiguracyjnego do połączenia z bezprzewodowym punktem
dostępowym:
1). Po zakończeniu instalacji narzędzie do konfiguracji połączeń bezprzewodowych
wyświetli się automatycznie w postaci ikony na pulpicie. Ponadto pojawi się ikona
w prawym dolnym rogu, na pasku zadań systemu Windows. Aby wybrać
wymaganą usługę lub przełączyć kartę sieciową na tryb AP należy kliknąć prawym
przyciskiem myszy na tę ikonę.
2). Narzędzie konfiguracyjne automatycznie przeskanuje system w poszukiwaniu
bezprzewodowych punktów dostępowych i automatycznie przeprowadzi próbę
połączenia się z dowolnym niezaszyfrowanym punktem dostępowym sieci
bezprzewodowej. Aby uzyskać połączenie z innym punktem dostępowym należy
wybrać punkt dostępowy i kliknąć „Connect” (Połącz).
Jeżeli wybrany przez użytkownika bezprzewodowy punkt dostępowy nie wyświetla
się, należy kliknąć na „Rescan” (Skanuj ponownie).
UWAGA: W środowisku operacyjnym Vista, niniejsza karta sieciowa nie połączy
się automatycznie z żadnym niezaszyfrowanym bezprzewodowym
punktem dostępowym.
3). Jeżeli bezprzewodowy punkt dostępowy używa szyfrowania, należy wpisać frazę
hasłową WEP lub klucz współdzielony WPA. Należy poprosić właściciela
wybranego bezprzewodowego punktu dostępowego o zgodę na połączenie i
wpisać prawidłową frazę hasłową/ klucz, a następnie kliknąć „OK”. Jeżeli wpisana
wartość okaże się nieprawidłowa, użytkownik nie uzyska połączenia z
bezprzewodowym punktem dostępowym.
4). Gdy punkt dostępowy sieci uzyska polaczenie, przed nazwą urządzenia
pracującego w sieci bezprzewodowej pojawi symbol ►
Informacje dotyczące zaawansowanych ustawień i innych cech niniejszej
bezprzewodowej karty sieciowej USB znajdują się w instrukcji obsługi na załączonym
CD-ROMie.
