The AU0008A USB 3.0 SATA Docking System comes with the next generation
Super Speed USB 3.0 interface (5 Gbps) which is 10 times faster than the USB
2.0 High Speed standard (480 Mbps). The product is ideal for high volume and
high speed data transfer applications such as CAD/CAM file storage, digital
multimedia file playback and capture, etc.
Unlike the enclosures available in the market today, AU0008A USB 3.0 SATA
adapter can be connected directly to a SATA mass storage device in many
popular form factors, such as 3.5” HDD, 2.5” HDD/SSD, and 5.25” optical
drive. When the adapter is put on the docking stand, it becomes a USB 3.0
SATA HDD docking station. The unique split design provides the best mobility
and SATA device compatibility, while keeping the installation procedure the
simplest.
