Ultra-Low NOx Power Vented Water Heaters
Lochinvar’s Ultra-Low NOx Power Vented models are available in
capacities of 40 & 50 gallons and feature a powered exhaust fan for sidewall
venting with PVC material.
Standard Features
• Flammable Vapor Ignition Resistant Compliant – The corrosion
resistant chamber redirects air through an arrestor plate to prevent flame
rollout and flammable vapor ignition. A resettable thermal switch shuts
down the burner and pilot operation in the event of a flammable vapor
ignition and also protects against lint, dust and oil buildup by shutting
down when it detects significant air restriction.
• Power Vented Exhaust System - The 120 VAC blower fan exhausts
the by-products of combustion directly to the outside of the building
through PVC or CPVC pipe, eliminating the need for conventional
chimneys or roof penetrations.
• Side Wall or Vertical Venting - can be vented horizontally
with 2”, 3” or 4” PVC, or CPVC vent pipe, depending on the
model.
• Ultra Low NOx Burner - The newly designed radiant burner system
along with a primary and secondary air distribution system reduces the
amount of NOx by controlling the air to gas ratio.
• Non-CFC Foam Insulation - Superior material formulation provides
uniform tank coverage with a thick blanket of insulating foam. This
non-CFC polyurethane closed cell foam minimizes standby losses and
maximizes heat retention.
• Energy Star Qualified - Meets Energy Star requirements and is eligible
for most utility rebate programs.
• Glass-Lined Steel Tank - The durable glass lining is fused to the tank
at 1600°F to assure lasting protection against rust and corrosion while
providing clean, clear hot water. 300 psi test pressure provides 150 psi
working pressure.
• Tank Saver Anode - A large diameter, high capacity anode inhibits
corrosion of the tank interior for long, trouble-free service.
• Electronic Gas Control - The gas control features advanced electronics
and hot surface ignition for precise water temperature control with
indicator lights for simplified diagnostics.
• Heat Trap - The heat trap protects from heat loss through the
water piping.
• Temperature & Pressure Relief Valve - Factory installed.
