Sealed Combustion for Manufactured Homes

Lochinvar’s Manufactured Home Residential Gas Water Heater draws all
combustion air from outside through a dedicated air intake. All by-products
of combustion are vented directly outside, omitting the need for a
draft diverter. Complies with HUD Standard for manufactured home.

Standard Features

• Flammable Vapor Ignition Resistant Compliant – The corrosion

resistant chamber redirects air through a flame arrestor plate to prevent
flame rollout and flammable vapor ignition. A resettable thermal switch
shuts down the burner and pilot operation in the event of a flammable
vapor ignition and also protects against lint, dust and oil buildup by
shutting down when it detects significant air restriction.

• Non-CFC Foam Insulation - Superior material formulation provides

uniform tank coverage with a thick blanket of insulating foam. This
non-CFC polyurethane closed cell foam minimizes standby losses
and maximizes heat retention.

• Natural Gas to LP Gas Conversion Kit – Conversion orifice kit for

natural gas to LP gas supplied with unit.

• Adjustable Thermostat – Automatic temperature selection at your

fingertips. This accurate control provides an easy way to reset water
temperature for best economy. An automatic over-heat safety device is
standard.

• Glass-Lined Steel Tank – The durable glass lining is fused to the tank

at 1600°F to assure lasting protection against rust and corrosion while
providing clean, clear hot water. 300 psi test pressure provides 150 psi
working pressure.

• Low NOx Burner – Patented design reduces NOx emissions by up to

33% and complies with less than 40 ng/j of low NOx.

• Piezo Ignitor – Provides easy pilot ignition with the push of a button.

• Tank Saver Anode – A large diameter, high capacity anode inhibits

corrosion of the tank interior for long, trouble-free service.

• Heat Trap – The heat trap protects from heat loss through the water piping

• Temperature & Pressure Relief Valve - Factory installed.

installed with one of the approved Roof Jack Kits listed on the
table. This kit is ordered separately and must be installed per
the installation instructions. Specify roof jack kit size when

Roof Jack Kits

Air Inlet Kit – An optional Air Inlet kit is available for
Direct Vent models installed over open subfloor spaces. The
kit allows for horizontal air intake piping up to 30 feet with
Schedule 40 PVC pipe.
