Tall and Short Models

Lochinvar’s residential electric water heaters are available in tall
models from 30 to 120 gallons and short models from 30 to 50
gallons. Various combinations of elements, wiring and voltages
can be furnished to meet most applications. Every unit features a
sophisticated design for high efficiency, low standby loss, high
first hour delivery and money saving performance. All water
heaters are triple tested during fabrication to ensure the highest
standards of quality and performance for a long service life.

Standard Features

• Non-CFC Foam Insulation - Superior material formulation

provides uniform tank coverage with a thick blanket of insulating
foam. This non-CFC polyurethane closed cell foam minimizes
standby losses and maximizes heat retention.

• Immersion Type Heating Elements - copper sheath design for

longer life in hard, aggressive water.

• Screw-In Element Mounting - for easy replacement

and service.

• Adjustable Thermostat - This accurate control provides an easy

way to reset water temperature for best economy. An automatic
over-heat safety device is standard.

• Glass-lined Steel Tank - The durable glass lining is fused to the

tank at 1600°F to assure lasting protection against rust and corrosion
while providing clean, clear hot water. 300 psi test pressure
provides 150 psi working pressure.

• Tank Saver Anode - A large diameter, high capacity anode inhibits

corrosion of the tank interior for long, trouble-free service.

• Heat Trap - The heat trap protects from heat loss through the water

piping.

• Temperature & Pressure Relief Valve - Factory installed.

• Brass Drain Valve

This water heater is suitable for water heating and space
heating. Toxic chemicals, such as those used for boiler water
treatment shall NEVER be introduced into this system. This
water heater may NEVER be connected to any existing heating
system or components previously used with non-potable water
heating appliances.
