Herzlichen Glückwunsch zum Kauf Ihres neuen Gerätes.
Sie haben sich damit für ein hochwertiges Produkt
entschieden. Die Bedienungsanleitung ist Bestandteil
dieses Produkts. Sie enthält wichtige Hinweise für Sicherheit, Gebrauch und Entsorgung. Machen Sie sich
vor der Benutzung des Produkts mit allen Bedien- und
Sicherheitshinweisen vertraut. Benutzen Sie das Produkt nur wie beschrieben und für die angegebenen
Einsatzbereiche. Bewahren Sie diese Anleitung gut
auf. Händigen Sie alle Unterlagen bei Weitergabe
des Produkts an Dritte mit aus.
Bestimmungsgemäße Verwendung
Dieses Gerät dient als Lesehilfe im privaten Hausgebrauch. Verwenden Sie das Gerät nur im Innenbereich. Dieses Gerät ist nicht zur Raumbeleuchtung
im Haushalt geeignet. Dieses Gerät ist nicht für den
gewerblichen Einsatz bestimmt.
Eine andere oder darüber hinausgehende Benutzung
gilt als nicht bestimmungsgemäß. Ansprüche jeglicher
Art wegen Schäden aus nicht bestimmungsgemäßer
Verwendung sind ausgeschlossen. Das Risiko trägt
allein der Betreiber.

WARNUNG! VERLETZUNGSGEFAHR!
■ Kontrollieren Sie das Gerät vor der Verwendung
auf äußere sichtbare Schäden. Nehmen Sie ein
beschädigtes Gerät nicht in Betrieb.
■ Blicken Sie nicht direkt in den Lichtstrahl und
benutzen Sie keine optischen Instrumente wie z.B.
ein Vergrößerungsglas, um direkt in den Lichtstrahl
zu schauen. Es besteht die Gefahr von Augenschäden.

■ Dieses Gerät kann von Kindern ab 8 Jahren und
darüber sowie von Personen mit verringerten
physischen, sensorischen oder mentalen Fähigkeiten oder Mangel an Erfahrung und Wissen
benutzt werden, wenn sie beaufsichtigt oder
bezüglich des sicheren Gebrauchs des Gerätes
unterwiesen wurden und die daraus resultierenden
Gefahren verstehen. Kinder dürfen nicht mit dem
Gerät spielen. Reinigung und Benutzer-Wartung
dürfen nicht von Kindern ohne Beaufsichtigung
durchgeführt werden.
ACHTUNG! SACHSCHADEN
■ Nehmen Sie keine eigenmächtigen Umbauten
oder Veränderungen an dem Gerät vor.
■ Eine Reparatur des Gerätes während der
Garantiezeit darf nur von einem vom Hersteller
autorisierten Kundendienst vorgenommen werden,
sonst besteht bei nachfolgenden Schäden kein
Garantieanspruch mehr.
■ Betreiben Sie das Gerät nicht in der Nähe von
off enen Flammen.
■ Platzieren Sie das Gerät nicht an Orten, die direk-
ter Sonnenstrahlung ausgesetzt sind. Anderenfalls
kann es überhitzen und irreparabel beschädigt
werden.
■ Schützen Sie das Gerät vor Feuchtigkeit und dem
Eindringen von Flüssigkeiten. Tauchen Sie das
Gerät niemals unter Wasser und stellen Sie keine
mit Flüssigkeit gefüllten Gegenstände (z.B. Vasen)
auf das Gerät.
GEFAHREN DURCH DEN EINSATZ VON
BATTERIEN
■ Werfen Sie die Batterien nicht ins Feuer.
■ Schließen Sie die Batterien nicht kurz.
■ Versuchen Sie nicht die Batterien wieder aufzula-
den.
■ Überprüfen Sie regelmäßig die Batterien. Ausge-
tretene Batteriesäure kann dauerhafte Schäden
am Gerät verursachen.
■ Batterien für Kinder unzugänglich aufbewahren.
Bei Verschlucken umgehend einen Arzt aufsuchen.
■ Entnehmen Sie die Batterien aus dem Gerät, wenn
Sie es längere Zeit nicht benutzen.
■ Im Umgang mit einer beschädigten oder ausgelau-
fenen Batterie besondere Vorsicht walten lassen.
Schutzhandschuhe tragen.
Inbetriebnahme
Vor dem ersten Verwenden der Tischlupe müssen Sie
den Isolationsstreifen aus dem Batteriefach heraus
ziehen.
Betrieb
Setzen Sie die Tischlupe auf einen Text bzw. ein
Objekt, das Sie sich vergrößert anschauen möchten.
Die maximale 5-fache Vergrößerung ergibt sich für
Objekte am Boden der Tischlupe.
Drücken Sie auf den silbernen Außenring der Tischlupe, um das Zusatzlicht ein- oder auszuschalten. Das
Licht schaltet sich nach 10 Minuten automatisch aus.
Batterien wechseln
Wenn die Beleuchtung der Tischlupe nicht mehr zuverlässig funktioniert, müssen Sie die Batterien wechseln.
Öff nen Sie dazu das Batteriefach an der Innenseite
der Tischlupe, indem Sie die Abdeckung in Pfeilrichtung schieben und hochklappen.
Legen Sie zwei Batterien vom Typ CR 2016 in das
Batteriefach ein. Achten Sie darauf, dass beide
Batterien mit der gleichen Ausrichtung von Plus- (+)
und Minus-Pol (-) eingesetzt werden. Der Plus-Pol zeigt
dabei zu Ihnen.

Reinigung
ACHTUNG! SACHSCHADEN
■ Stellen Sie sicher, dass bei der Reinigung keine
Feuchtigkeit in das Gerät eindringt, um eine irreparable Beschädigung des Gerätes zu vermeiden.
Reinigen Sie die Oberfl äche des Gerätes und das Vergrößerungsglas mit dem mitgelieferten Reinigungstuch.
Lagerung
Wenn Sie das Gerät längere Zeit nicht benutzen, entnehmen Sie die Batterien und lagern Sie es in der Aufbewahrungstasche an einem sauberen, trockenen Ort.
Entsorgung
Werfen Sie das Gerät keinesfalls in
den normalen Hausmüll. Dieses Produkt
unterliegt der europäischen Richtlinie
2012/19/EU WEEE (Waste Electrical and
Electronic Equipment).
Entsorgen Sie das Gerät über einen zugelassenen
Entsorgungsbetrieb oder über Ihre kommunale Entsorgungseinrichtung. Beachten Sie die aktuell geltenden
Vorschriften. Setzen Sie sich im Zweifelsfall mit Ihrer
Entsorgungseinrichtung in Verbindung.
Batterien entsorgen
Batterien dürfen nicht im Hausmüll entsorgt
werden. Jeder Verbraucher ist gesetzlich
verpfl ichtet, Batterien bei einer Sammelstelle
seiner Gemeinde/seines Stadtteils oder im Handel
abzugeben. Diese Verpfl ichtung dient dazu, dass
Batterien einer umweltschonenden Entsorgung
zugeführt werden können. Geben Sie Batterien nur im
entladenen Zustand zurück.
Garantie
Sie erhalten auf dieses Gerät 3 Jahre Garantie ab
Kaufdatum. Das Gerät wurde sorgfältig produziert
und vor Auslieferung gewissenhaft geprüft.
Bitte bewahren Sie den Kassenbon als Nachweis für
den Kauf auf. Bitte setzen Sie sich im Garantiefall
mit Ihrer Servicestelle telefonisch in Verbindung.
Nur so kann eine kostenlose Einsendung Ihrer Ware
gewährleistet werden. Die Garantieleistung gilt nur für
Material- oder Fabrikationsfehler, nicht aber für Transportschäden, Verschleißteile oder für Beschädigungen
an zerbrechlichen Teilen, z.B. Schalter oder Akkus. Das
Produkt ist nur für den privaten und nicht für den gewerblichen Gebrauch bestimmt. Bei missbräuchlicher
und unsachgemäßer Behandlung, Gewaltanwendung
und bei Eingriff en, die nicht von unserer autorisierten
Service-Niederlassung vorgenommen wurden, erlischt
die Garantie.
Ihre gesetzlichen Rechte werden durch diese Garantie
nicht eingeschränkt. Die Garantiezeit wird durch die
Gewährleistung nicht verlängert. Dies gilt auch für
ersetzte und reparierte Teile.
Eventuell schon beim Kauf vorhandene Schäden
und Mängel müssen sofort nach dem Auspacken
gemeldet werden, spätestens aber zwei Tage nach
Kaufdatum. Nach Ablauf der Garantiezeit anfallende
Reparaturen sind kostenpfl ichtig.

Intended use
This appliance is used as a reading aid for private
domestic use. The appliance is for internal use only.
This product is not suitable for lighting rooms in
houses. This appliance is not intended for commercial
applications.
It is not intended for any other use or for uses extending
beyond those stated. Claims of any kind for damage
arising as a result of non-intended use will not be
accepted. The operator alone bears liability.

Safety instructions
WARNING! RISK OF INJURY!
■ Before use, check the appliance for visible external
damage. Never operate an appliance that is
damaged.
■ Do not look directly into the beam of light, do not
use optical instruments such as a magnifying glass
to look directly into the beam of light. There is
a risk of severe eye damage.
■ This appliance may be used by children aged 8
over and by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience
and knowledge, provided that they are under

supervision or have been told how to use of the
appliance safely and are aware of the potential
risks. Children must not play with the appliance.
Cleaning and user maintenance tasks must not be
carried out by children unless they are supervised.
CAUTION! PROPERTY DAMAGE!
■ Do not make any unauthorised modifications or
alterations to the appliance.
■ Repairs to the appliance during the warranty period
may only be carried out by a customer service
department authorised by the manufacturer.
Otherwise no additional warranty claims can be
considered for subsequent damage.
■ Do not operate the appliance close to naked flames.
■ Do not place the appliance in locations that are
subject to direct sunlight as this could lead to overheating and cause irreparable damage.
■ Protect the appliance from moisture and liquid
penetration. Never submerge the appliance in
water and do not place objects filled with liquids
(such as vases) on the appliance.
HAZARDS CAUSED BY THE USE OF
BATTERIES
■ Do not throw the batteries into a fire.
■ Do not short-circuit the batteries.
■ Do not attempt to recharge the batteries.
■ Regularly check the condition of the batteries.
Leaking battery acid can cause permanent
damage to the appliance.
■ Store batteries in a place inaccessible to children.
If a battery should be swallowed, seek medical
attention IMMEDIATELY.
■ If you do not intend to use the appliance for
a long time, remove the batteries.
■ Special care should be taken when handling a
damaged or leaking battery. Wear protective
gloves.
Initial operation
Before using the table magnifier for the first time, you
will have to pull the plastic insulating strip out of the
battery compartment.
Operation
Place the table magnifier on a section of text or an
object that you want to view magnified. The maximum
5x magnification is achieved for objects on the base
of the table magnifier.
Press the silver outer ring on the table magnifier to
switch the additional light on or off. The light will
switch off automatically after 10 minutes.
Changing the batteries
If the table magnifier lighting is no longer functioning
reliably, you have to replace the batteries.
To do this, open the battery compartment on the inside
of the table magnifier by pressing the cover in the
direction of the arrow and raising it.
Insert two batteries of type CR 2032 into the battery
compartment. Ensure that both batteries are inserted
with the same alignment of positive (+) and negative
(-) terminals. The positive terminal should be facing you.

Cleaning
CAUTION! PROPERTY DAMAGE!
■ To avoid irreparable damage, ensure that no
moisture penetrates into the appliance whilst it is
being cleaned.
Clean the appliance surface and the magnifying
glass using the cleaning cloth supplied.
Storage
If you do not intend to use the appliance for a long
time, remove the batteries, place it in the storage bag
and store it in a clean, dry place.
Disposal
Do not dispose of the appliance in your
normal domestic waste. This product is
subject to the provisions of European
Directive 2012/19/EU WEEE (Waste Electrical
and Electronic Equipment).
Dispose of the appliance through an approved
disposal centre or at your community waste facility.
Please observe the currently applicable regulations.
Please contact your waste disposal centre should you
be in any doubt.
Disposing of the batteries
Do not dispose of the batteries in the domestic
waste. Every consumer is statutorily obliged to
dispose of used batteries at a collecting point
in his town /district or at a retail company. This obligation is intended to ensure that batteries are disposed
of in an environmentally responsible manner. Dispose
of batteries only when they are fully discharged.
Warranty
The warranty provided for this appliance is 3 years
from the date of purchase. This appliance has been
manufactured with care and inspected meticulously
prior to delivery.
Please retain your receipt as proof of purchase. In
the event of a warranty claim, please contact your
Customer Service Centre by telephone. This is the
only way to guarantee free return of your goods.
The warranty only covers claims for material and
manufacturing defects, not for transport damage,
wearing parts or for damage to fragile components
such as switches and batteries. This appliance is
intended solely for private use and not for commercial
purposes. The warranty is deemed void if this product
has been subjected to improper or inappropriate handling, abuse or modifications that were not carried
out by one of our authorised service centres.
Your statutory rights are not restricted in any way by
this warranty. The warranty period is not prolonged
by repairs made under the warranty. This also applies
to replaced and repaired parts.
Damage and defects present at the time of purchase
must be reported immediately after unpacking, or
no later than two days after the date of purchase.
Repairs made after expiry of the warranty period are
chargeable.
