Information for these operating instructions

Congratulations on the purchase of your new appliance.
You have clearly decided in favour of a quality product. These operating instruc-

tions are a part of this product. They contain important information in regard to
safety, use and disposal. Before using the product, familiarise yourself with all of
these operating and safety instructions. Use the product only as described and
only for the specifi ed areas of application. Retain these instructions for future
reference. In addition, pass these documents on, together with the product, to
any future owner.

Intended use

This appliance is intended as a portable light source for outdoor areas. This appli­ance is spraywater protected, but is not designed for direct use in the rain. This
appliance has four operating modes (halogen, LED operation, LED ambient light­ing and LED fl ashing light). This appliance is not intended for commercial use.

This appliance is not intended for any other use or for uses beyond those men­tioned. Claims of any kind for damage resulting from unintended use will not be
accepted. The operator alone bears liability.

Safety

In this chapter you will receive important safety information regarding the handling
of the appliance. This appliance complies with the statutory safety regulations.
Incorrect usage can lead to personal injury and property damage.

Basic Safety Instructions

For safe handling of the appliance observe the following safety information:

■ This appliance may be used by children aged 8 over and by persons with

reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and
knowledge, provided that they are under supervision or have been told how
to use of the appliance safely and are aware of the potential risks. Children
must not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance tasks must
not be carried out by children unless they are supervised.

■ Do not use optical instruments, such as for example a magnifying glass, to

look directly into the beam. There is a risk of receiving severe eye damage.

■ Before use, check the appliance for signs of visible external damage. Do not

put into operation an appliance that is damaged. There will be the risk of a
fatal electrical shock.

■ Arrange for repairs to the appliance to be carried out only by authorised

specialist companies or by the Customer Service Department. Incompetent
repairs can result in signifi cant risks for the user. In addition, warranty claims
become void.

■ Use only the supplied power adapter or the supplied car adapter to charge

this Cordless Handheld Spotlight.

■ The supplied power adapter must be connected only to a properly installed

mains power socket.

■ The mains power socket must be easily accessible, so that in the event of an

emergency the power adapter can be unplugged easily.

■ Ensure that the power adapter and car adapter do not come into contact

with liquids.

■ The power adapter and the car adapter may not be used outdoors, only in

indoor dry rooms.

■ The car adapter may only be connected to the car cigarette lighter or an

on-board power outlet supplying 12 V.

■ Always fi rst connect the Cordless Handheld Spotlight to the power adapter

or the car adapter, then connect the power adapter/car adapter into the
power supply.

■ In the event of damage to the power adapter/car adapter, in order to avoid

hazards arrange for it/them to be exchanged by authorised personnel or the
Customer Service Department.

■ NEVER use the AC adapter/car adapter with a damaged power cable.

There will be the risk of a fatal electrical shock.

■ NEVER cover up the refl ector during operation. There is risk of overheating.

■ Maintain a suffi cient distance from the illuminated area (at least

0.5 m), otherwise there is a risk of fi re from the generated heat.

■ NEVER operate the appliance without its protective disc.

■ A broken protective disc must be replaced before further use.

There is a risk of personal injury.

Check the contents to ensure that they are complete and for signs of visible

► If the delivery is not complete or is damaged due to defective packaging or

through transportation, contact the Service Hotline (see chapter Service).

♦ Remove all components of the appliance and these operating instructions

from the carton.

♦ Remove all packing material.

WARNING

► Packaging material should not be used as a plaything by children. There is

a risk of suff ocation!

Disposal of the packaging

The packaging protects the appliance from transport damage. The packaging
materials are selected from the point of view of their environmental friendliness
and disposal technology and are therefore recyclable.

The recirculation of packaging materials into the material circuit saves on raw
material and reduces the amount of waste generated. Dispose of packaging
material that is no longer needed as per the regionally established regulations.

NOTICE

If possible preserve the appliance's original packaging during the warranty

period so that, in the event of a warranty claim, you can repackage the ap­pliance ideally for its return.

Handling and operation

In this chapter you receive important information for the handling and operation
of the appliance.

Charging the battery

This appliance is equipped with a low-maintenance and securely sealed lead­acid battery. To obtain an optimum service life for your battery, pay heed to the
following instructions:

■ Before the fi rst use, fully charge the battery over 24 hours using the supplied

mains power adapter

■ Avoid a deep discharging of the battery. In the event of decreasing bright-

ness, switch the appliance off and recharge the battery. Never operate the
appliance without it being under supervision.

■ Do not store the appliance uncharged, instead, recharge the battery imme-

diately after using the appliance. The battery will be damaged if it is placed
into storage in a discharged condition.

■ A battery discharges itself during prolonged storage. If the appliance is not

to be taken into use over an extended period, recharge the battery at least
every three months.

♦ Switch the Cordless Handheld Spotlight off completely (On/Off switch 6 + 7

at the position “0”).

♦ Connect the low voltage plug of the mains power adapter 15/car adapter 14

to the charging socket

♦ Insert the plug of the mains power adapter 15 into a mains power socket

resp. the car adapter 14 into the cigarette lighter/on-board power outlet of
a vehicle.

♦ The charging process begins and the red charge status indicator 11

lights up. When the battery is fully charged, the green charge status indica­tor

10 lights up additionally.

NOTICE

The charging time is approximately 15 hours, but with a very discharged

battery it may extend for about 1 to 2 hours.

► Bear in mind that when charging via the car adapter, energy is extracted

from the car battery. Accordingly, when possible charge the appliance
only with the engine running, so that the readiness status of the vehicle
battery remains constant.

Switching on and off / Selecting the operating mode

This appliance has four operating modes (halogen, LED operation, LED ambient
lighting and LED fl ashing light), which can be adjusted by means of the On/Off
switch 6 + 7.

♦ Place the On/Off switch 6 at the position “I” to switch the LED ambient

lighting on.

♦ Place the On/Off switch 6 at the position “II” to switch the LED fl ashing

light on.

♦ Place the On/Off switch 6 at the position “0”, to switch the LED ambient

lighting resp. LED fl ashing light off .

♦ Place the On/Off switch 7 at the position “I” to switch the halogen spotlight

on.

♦ Place the On/Off switch 7 at the position “II”, to switch the LED spotlight on.
♦ Place the On/Off switch 7 at the position “0”, to switch the halogen resp.

LED spotlight off .

Adjusting the carrying handle and the stand

You have the possibility to adjust the carrying handle 4 into the pistol position
or into the lantern position.

♦ To do this, press the button 3 on the handle 4 and at the same time turn

the handle 4 into the upper or lower position until it engages. The pistol
position is used to illuminate distant objects; the lantern position is well suited
for area searching.

In addition, you also have the option of positioning the Cordless Handheld Spot-

light in an upright position by means of the adjustable stand
can be aligned through the 5 locking positions. The eyelet on the stand can be
used to suspend the appliance.

♦ Pull the stand 8 into one of the fi ve locking positions and set the appliance up.

Maintenance

Replacing the halogen bulb

These LEDs are not replaceable and do not have to be serviced. Only the halogen
bulb can be replaced.

WARNING

The bulb and the refl ector become very hot during use. There is a risk of being
burnt!

► Allow the appliance to cool down completely before changing the bulb.

TAKE NOTE

Do not touch the bulb with your bare fi ngers, use a lint-free soft cloth.

♦ Switch the appliance off with the On/Off switch 6 + 7.
♦ Ensure that the mains power adapter 15 resp. car adapter 14 is not plugged

into the charging socket 12.

♦ Loosen the retaining ring of the spotlight by turning it slightly clockwise

and then removing it from the appliance.

♦ Remove the cable and the retaining clip from the bracket .
♦ Remove the bulb from its socket and carefully loosen the plug connector

of the connecting cable.

♦ Insert a new bulb of the same type (see technical data) into the socket

and reattach the connection cable with the plug connector

♦ Secure the bulb with the retaining clip and fasten them as per the cable

with the screw and the nut on the bracket .

♦ Replace the retaining ring of the spotlight on the appliance so that the

restraints of the ring engage and grip into the recesses of the housing. Lock
the retaining ring by turning it slightly anti-clockwise.

Cleaning

DANGER

Risk of potentially fatal electrical current!

► Disconnect the mains power adapter 15 from the mains power socket resp.

the car adapter 14 from the cigarette lighter before you start cleaning.

► Ensure that moisture cannot permeate into the appliance during cleaning.

TAKE NOTE

Possible damage to the appliance.

► Do not use aggressive or abrasive cleaning agents, as these can damage

the upper surfaces.

♦ Clean the housing of the appliance only with a lightly moistened cloth and

a mild detergent.

Disposal

Disposal of the appliance

Do NOT dispose of the appliance in your normal domestic waste.

This product is subject to the provisions of European Directive
2012/19/EU (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment).

Dispose of the appliance through an approved disposal centre or at your com-

munity waste facility. Pay heed to the currently applicable regulations. In case of
doubt, consult your local disposal facility.

NOTICE

Before disposing of the appliance it is essential to fi rst remove the battery.

Disposal of batteries

Used batteries/cells may not be disposed of in household waste. Every consumer
is statutorily obliged to dispose of batteries or cells at a collecting point in his
town/district or at a retail company. This obligation is intended to ensure that bat­teries/cells are disposed of in an environmentally friendly manner. Only dispose
of batteries when they are fully discharged.

and other relevant provisions, this appliance complies
with the guidelines of the Electromagnetic Compatibility
Directive 2004/108/EC as well as the Directive for Low
Voltage appliances 2006/95/EC.

The complete original declaration of conformity can be
obtained from the importer.

Warranty

You receive a 3-year warranty for this appliance as of the purchase date. This
appliance has been manufactured with care and meticulously examined before
delivery.

Please retain your receipt as proof of purchase. In the event of a warranty claim,
please make contact by telephone with our Service Department. Only in this way
can a post-free despatch for your goods be assured.

NOTICE

► The warranty covers only claims for material and manufacturing defects,

but not for transport damages, wearing parts or for damage to fragile
components, e.g. bulbs or switches.

The appliance is intended solely for private, not commercial, use. If this product
has been subjected to improper or inappropriate handling, abuse, or modifi ca­tions not carried out by one of our authorised sales and service outlets, the
warranty will be considered void.

Your statutory rights are not restricted in any way by this warranty. The warranty
period is not extended by repairs eff ected under warranty. This applies also to
replaced and repaired parts.

Damages or defects discovered after purchase are to be reported directly after
unpacking, at the latest two days after the purchase date.

On expiry of the warranty, all repairs carried out are subject to payment.

Χρήση σύμφωνη με τους κανονισμούς

Αυτή η συσκευή εξυπηρετεί ως φορητή πηγή φωτός σε εξωτερικούς χώρους.
Αυτή η συσκευή έχει προστασία έναντι ψεκαζόμενου νερού αλλά δεν έχει κατα­σκευαστεί για απευθείας χρήση στη βροχή. Η συσκευή διαθέτει 4 είδη λειτουργίας
(αλογόνου, λειτουργία LED, LED φωτισμού εσωτερικού χώρου, διαλείπων φανός
LED). Αυτή η συσκευή δεν προορίζεται για επαγγελματική χρήση.

Μία άλλη ή διαφορετική χρήση από τα ανωτέρω αναφερόμενα ισχύει ως μη
σύμφωνη με τους κανονισμούς. Απαιτήσεις οποιουδήποτε είδους έναντι φθορών

► Τηρείτε τις οδηγίες σε αυτή την υπόδειξη προειδοποίησης ώστε να αποφεύ-

γετε κίνδυνο θανάτου ή βαριών τραυματισμών ατόμων.

Ασφάλεια

Σε αυτό το κεφάλαιο λαμβάνετε σημαντικές υποδείξεις ασφάλειας για το χειρισμό
της συσκευής. Αυτή η συσκευή αντιστοιχεί στους προδιαγεγραμμένους κανόνες
ασφαλείας. Μια ακατάλληλη χρήση μπορεί να οδηγήσει σε σωματικές βλάβες
και σε εμπράγματες ζημιές.

Βασικές υποδείξεις ασφαλείας

Για μια ασφαλή μεταχείριση της συσκευής, τηρείτε τις υποδείξεις ασφαλείας:

■ Αυτή η συσκευή επιτρέπεται να χρησιμοποιείται από παιδιά άνω των 8 ετών

καθώς και από άτομα με περιορισμένες φυσικές, αισθητηριακές ή νοητικές
ικανότητες ή ελλείψεις από άποψη εμπειρίας και γνώσεων, εφόσον επιτηρούνται
ή έχουν ενημερωθεί αναφορικά με την ασφαλή χρήση της συσκευής και κατα­νοούν τους προκύπτοντες κινδύνους. Τα παιδιά δεν επιτρέπεται να παίζουν
με τη συσκευή. Ο καθαρισμός και η συντήρηση του χρήστη δεν επιτρέπεται να
διεξάγονται από παιδιά, χωρίς επιτήρηση.

■ Μη χρησιμοποιείτε οπτικά όργανα όπως π.χ. ένα μεγεθυντικό φακό, για να

δείτε απευθείας στην ακτίνα φωτός. Υπάρχει κίνδυνος βλάβης στα μάτια.

■ Πριν από τη χρήση ελέγχετε τη συσκευή ως προς εξωτερικές εμφανείς φθορές.

Μη θέτετε σε λειτουργία μια συσκευή με βλάβη. Υπάρχει κίνδυνος ηλεκτρο­πληξίας.

■ Επιτρέπετε τις επισκευές στη συσκευή μόνο από εξουσιοδοτημένα συνεργεία

ή από το τμήμα εξυπηρέτησης πελατών. Μέσω ακατάλληλων επισκευών μπορεί
να εμφανιστούν αυξημένοι κίνδυνοι για το χρήστη. Επίσης ακυρώνεται η
απαίτηση της εγγύησης.

■ Χρησιμοποιείτε μόνο το απεσταλμένο τροφοδοτικό ή τον απεσταλμένο αντά-

πτορα αυτοκινήτου για να φορτίσετε τον επαναφορτιζόμενο προβολέα.

■ Το τροφοδοτικό επιτρέπεται να συνδέεται αποκλειστικά σε μια σύμφωνα με

τις προδιαγραφές εγκατεστημένη πρίζα.

■ Η πρίζα πρέπει να είναι εύκολα προσβάσιμη έτσι ώστε το τροφοδοτικό να

μπορεί να τραβηχτεί εύκολα σε επείγουσα ανάγκη.

■ Μην επιτρέπετε το τροφοδοτικό και ο αντάπτορας αυτοκινήτου να έρχονται

σε επαφή με υγρά.

■ Το τροφοδοτικό και ο αντάπτορας αυτοκινήτου δεν επιτρέπεται να χρησιμο-

ποιούνται σε εξωτερικό χώρο, αλλά μόνο σε κλειστούς και στεγνούς χώρους.

■ Ο αντάπτορας αυτοκινήτου επιτρέπεται να συνδέεται μόνο στον αναπτήρα

τσιγάρων του αυτοκινήτου ή σε υποδοχή του δικτύου διανομής στο όχημα
με 12 V.

■ Συνδέετε πάντα πρώτα τον επαναφορτιζόμενο προβολέα στο τροφοδοτικό

ή στον αντάπτορα αυτοκινήτου και μόνο στη συνέχεια το τροφοδοτικό /
τον αντάπτορα αυτοκινήτου στην παροχή ρεύματος.

■ Σε περίπτωση ζημιάς του τροφοδοτικού / του αντάπτορα αυτοκινήτου

επιτρέψτε μια αντικατάσταση από εξουσιοδοτημένο ειδικό προσωπικό ή από
το τμήμα εξυπηρέτησης πελατών, ώστε να αποφύγετε κινδύνους.

■ Ποτέ μη χρησιμοποιείτε το τροφοδοτικό / τον αντάπτορα αυτοκινήτου με μια

φθαρμένη γραμμή σύνδεσης. Υπάρχει κίνδυνος ηλεκτροπληξίας.

■ Ποτέ μην απομακρύνετε τον ανακλαστήρα κατά τη διάρκεια της λειτουργίας.

Υπάρχει κίνδυνος υπερθέρμανσης.

■ Κρατάτε επαρκή απόσταση προς την φωτισμένη επιφάνεια

(τουλάχιστο 0,5 μ.), διότι αλλιώς υπάρχει κίνδυνος πυρκαγιάς
μέσω της ανάπτυξης θερμότητας.

■ Ποτέ μη λειτουργείτε τη συσκευή χωρίς προστατευτικό γυαλί.

■ Ένα σπασμένο προστατευτικό γυαλί πρέπει να αντικαθίστα-

ται πριν από μια περαιτέρω χρήση. Υπάρχει κίνδυνος
τραυματισμού.

Απόρριψη της συσκευασίας

Η συσκευασία προστατεύει τη συσκευή από φθορές κατά τη μεταφορά. Τα υλικά
συσκευασίας έχουν επιλεγεί σύμφωνα με τους οικολογικούς παράγοντες και τους
παράγοντες της τεχνικής απόρριψης και για το λόγο αυτό είναι ανακυκλώσιμα.

Η επιστροφή της συσκευασίας στον κύκλο ροής υλικών εξοικονομεί πρώτες ύλες
και μειώνει την ποσότητα των απορριμμάτων. Απορρίπτετε τα υλικά συσκευασίας
που δεν χρησιμοποιούνται πλέον σύμφωνα με τις τοπικές ισχύουσες προδια­γραφές.

Χειρισμός και λειτουργία

Σε αυτό το κεφάλαιο λαμβάνετε σημαντικές υποδείξεις για το χειρισμό και τη
λειτουργία της συσκευής.

Φόρτιση του συσσωρευτή

Η συσκευή είναι εξοπλισμένη με έναν συσσωρευτή μολύβδου - τζελ, ο οποίος
δεν απαιτεί συντήρηση και παρέχει ασφάλεια έναντι διαρροής. Για μια βέλτιστη
διάρκεια ζωής του συσσωρευτή σας, προσέξτε τις ακόλουθες υποδείξεις:

■ Πριν από την πρώτη χρήση φορτίστε πλήρως το συσσωρευτή για 24 ώρες

με το τροφοδοτικό

■ Αποφεύγετε πλήρη αποφόρτιση του συσσωρευτή. Εάν η φωτεινότητα αρχίσει

να μειώνεται απενεργοποιήστε τη συσκευή και φορτίστε πάλι το συσσωρευτή.
Μη λειτουργείτε τη συσκευή ανεπιτήρητη.

■ Μην αποθηκεύετε τη συσκευή αφόρτιστη, αλλά φορτίζετε πάλι το συσσωρευτή

μετά τη χρήση. Η αποθήκευση σε αποφορτισμένη κατάσταση βλάπτει το
συσσωρευτή.

■ Οι συσσωρευτές αποφορτίζονται σε περίπτωση αποθήκευσης για μεγάλο

χρονικό διάστημα. Εάν η συσκευή δεν χρησιμοποιείται για μεγάλο χρονικό
διάστημα, φορτίζετε πάλι το συσσωρευτή κάθε 3 μήνες.

♦ Απενεργοποιήστε πλήρως τον επαναφορτιζόμενο προβολέα (διακόπτης on/

off 6 + 7 στη θέση „0“).

♦ Συνδέστε τον αντάπτορα χαμηλής τάσης του τροφοδοτικού 15/ αντάπτορα

αυτοκινήτου
προβολέα.

♦ Βάλτε το τροφοδοτικό 15 σε μια πρίζα ή τον αντάπτορα αυτοκινήτου 14

στον αναπτήρα τσιγάρων/στην υποδοχή του δικτύου διανομής ενός αυτο­κινήτου.

Ο χρόνος φόρτισης ανέρχεται περ. σε 15 ώρες, μπορεί ωστόσο να διαρκέσει

1-2 ώρες περισσότερο εάν ο συσσωρευτής είναι πλήρως αποφορτισμένος.

► Λάβετε υπόψη ότι κατά τη διάρκεια της φόρτισης μέσω του αντάπτορα αυτο-

κινήτου, απορροφάται ενέργεια από τη μπαταρία του αυτοκινήτου. Γι' αυτό
φορτίζετε τη συσκευή εάν είναι δυνατό μόνο με εν λειτουργία κινητήρα, ώστε
να διατηρείται η κατάσταση ετοιμότητας της μπαταρίας του αυτοκινήτου.

Ενεργοποίηση και απενεργοποίηση / Επιλογή είδους
λειτουργίας

Η συσκευή διαθέτει 4 είδη λειτουργίας (αλογόνου, λειτουργία LED, LED
φωτισμού εσωτερικού χώρου, διαλείπων φανός LED), τα οποία μπορούν να
ρυθμιστούν μέσω του διακόπτη on/off

♦ Θέστε το διακόπτη on/off 6 στη θέση „I“, για να ενεργοποιήσετε τη λυχνία

εσωτερικού χώρου LED.

♦ Θέστε το διακόπτη on/off 6 στη θέση „II“, για να ενεργοποιήσετε τον

διαλείποντα φανό LED.

♦ Θέστε το διακόπτη on/off 6 στη θέση „0“, για να απενεργοποιήσετε τη

λυχνία εσωτερικού χώρου LED ή τον διαλείποντα φανό LED.

♦ Θέστε το διακόπτη on/off 7 στη θέση „I“, για να ενεργοποιήσετε τον

προβολέα αλογόνου.

♦ Θέστε το διακόπτη on/off 7 στη θέση „II“, για να ενεργοποιήσετε τον

προβολέα LED.

♦ Θέστε το διακόπτη on/off 7 στη θέση „0“, για να απενεργοποιήσετε τον

προβολέα αλογόνου ή LED.

Μετατόπιση της λαβής μεταφοράς και της βάσης

Έχετε τη δυνατότητα να μετατοπίσετε τη λαβή μεταφοράς 4 στη θέση πυρσού ή
φανού.

♦ Για αυτό πιέστε το κουμπί 3 στη λαβή μεταφοράς 4 και περιστρέψτε τότε

τη λαβή μεταφοράς 4 στην άνω ή κάτω θέση, έως ότου κουμπώσει. Η θέση
πυρσού εξυπηρετεί το φωτισμό αντικειμένων που βρίσκονται μακριά, η θέση
φανού ενδείκνυται εξαιρετικά για αναζήτηση.

Επίσης έχετε τη δυνατότητα να τοποθετήσετε όρθιο τον επαναφορτιζόμενο

προβολέα μέσω της ρυθμιζόμενης βάσης
μπορεί να ρυθμιστεί η ακτίνα φωτός. Η ωτίδα στη βάση μπορεί να χρησιμοποιείται
για την ανάρτηση της συσκευής.

♦ Τραβήξτε τη βάση 8 σε μια από τις 5 θέσεις ασφάλισης και τοποθετήστε

τη συσκευή.

Συντήρηση

Αντικατάσταση λυχνιών αλογόνου

Αυτά τα LED δεν αντικαθίστανται και δεν χρειάζονται συντήρηση. Μπορεί να
γίνει μόνο αντικατάσταση των λυχνιών αλογόνου.

ΠΡΟΕΙΔΟΠΟΙΗΣΗ

Η λυχνία και ο ανακλαστήρας αποκτούν πολύ υψηλή θερμοκρασία κατά τη
λειτουργία. Υπάρχει κίνδυνος εγκαύματος!

► Αφήστε τη συσκευή να κρυώσει προτού αλλάξετε λυχνία.

Μην αγγίζετε τη λυχνία με γυμνά χέρια αλλά χρησιμοποιείτε ένα πανί

♦ Απενεργοποιήστε τη συσκευή μέσω του διακόπτη on/off 6 + 7.
♦ Βεβαιώνεστε ότι δεν έχει συνδεθεί στην υποδοχή φόρτισης 12 κανένα τροφο-

δοτικό 15 ή αντάπτορας αυτοκινήτου 14.

♦ Λασκάρετε το δακτύλιο του προβολέα , περιστρέφοντας τον λίγο δεξιό-

στροφα και αφαιρέστε τον από τη συσκευή.

♦ Απομακρύνετε το καλώδιο και τα κλιπ συγκράτησης από τη συγκρά-

τηση

.

♦ Αφαιρέστε τη λυχνία από τη συγκράτηση και λασκάρετε προσεκτικά τη

σύνδεση του καλωδίου σύνδεσης.

♦ Τοποθετήστε μια νέα λυχνία του ίδιου τύπου (δείτε τις Τεχνικές πληροφορίες)

στη συγκράτηση και συνδέστε το καλώδιο σύνδεσης με τη σύνδεση .

♦ Ασφαλίστε τη λυχνία με το κλιπ συγκράτησης και στερεώστε πάλι το

καλώδιο με τη βίδα και το παξιμάδι στη συγκράτηση .

♦ Τοποθετήστε το δακτύλιο του προβολέα έτσι επάνω στη συσκευή ώστε

οι ασφαλίσεις του δακτυλίου να πιάνουν στις εσοχές του περιβλήματος.
Ασφαλίστε τον δακτύλιο, περιστρέφοντας τον λίγο αριστερόστροφα.

Καθαρισμός

ΚΙΝΔΥΝΟΣ

Κίνδυνος ζωής από ηλεκτρικό ρεύμα!

► Τραβήξτε το τροφοδοτικό 15 από την υποδοχή ή τον αντάπτορα αυτοκινή-

του 14 από τον αναπτήρα τσιγάρων, προτού ξεκινήσετε με τον καθαρισμό.

► Εξασφαλίζετε ότι κατά τον καθαρισμό δεν θα διεισδύει υγρασία μέσα στη

συσκευή.

► Μη χρησιμοποιείτε επιθετικά ή τριβικά καθαριστικά μέσα, διότι αυτά μπορεί

να προσβάλουν την επιφάνεια του περιβλήματος.

♦ Καθαρίζετε τη συσκευή αποκλειστικά με ένα ελαφρώς νωπό πανί και με ένα

ήπιο απορρυπαντικό.

Απόρριψη

Απόρριψη συσκευής

Σε καμία περίπτωση μην πετάξετε τη συσκευή στα φυσιολογικά

οικιακά απορρίμματα. Αυτό το προϊόν υπόκειται στην Ευρωπαϊκή
Οδηγία 2012/19/EU (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment
[Απόρριψη ηλεκτρικών και ηλεκτρονικών συσκευών]).

Απομακρύνετε τη συσκευή μέσω μιας εγκεκριμένης επιχείρησης απόρριψης

ή μέσω της κοινοτικής επιχείρησης απόρριψης. Να τηρείτε τους ισχύοντες
κανονισμούς. Επικοινωνήστε σε περίπτωση αμφιβολιών με την επιχείρηση
απομάκρυνσης.

ΥΠΟΔΕΙΞΗ

Πριν από την απόρριψη της συσκευής πρέπει να απομακρυνθεί οπωσδή-

Απόρριψη μπαταριών/ συσσωρευτών

Οι μπαταρίες/ συσσωρευτές δεν επιτρέπεται να απομακρύνονται μέσω των οικια­κών απορριμμάτων. Κάθε χρήστης είναι νομικά υποχρεωμένος να παραδίδει τις
μπαταρίες / τους συσσωρευτές σε ένα σημείο συγκέντρωσης της κοινότητας /

ανακοινώνονται αμέσως μετά την αποσυσκευασία, το αργότερο όμως δύο ημέρες
μετά την ημερομηνία αγοράς.

Μετά τη λήξη του χρόνου εγγύησης χρεώνονται οι εμφανιζόμενες επισκευές.

Dieses Gerät dient als tragbare Lichtquelle im Aussenbereich. Dieses Gerät ist
spritzwassergeschützt, aber nicht für den direkten Einsatz im Regen konstruiert.
Das Gerät verfügt über 4 Betriebsarten (Halogen-, LED-Betrieb, LED-Raumlicht
und LED-Blinklicht). Dieses Gerät ist nicht für den gewerblichen Einsatz bestimmt.

Eine andere oder darüber hinausgehende Benutzung gilt als nicht bestimmungs­gemäß. Ansprüche jeglicher Art wegen Schäden aus nicht bestimmungsgemäßer
Verwendung sind ausgeschlossen. Das Risiko trägt allein der Betreiber.

Grundlegende Sicherheitshinweise

Beachten Sie für einen sicheren Umgang mit dem Gerät die folgenden
Sicherheitshinweise:

■ Dieses Gerät kann von Kindern ab 8 Jahren und darüber sowie von Personen

mit verringerten physischen, sensorischen oder mentalen Fähigkeiten oder
Mangel an Erfahrung und Wissen benutzt werden, wenn sie beaufsichtigt oder
bezüglich des sicheren Gebrauchs des Gerätes unterwiesen wurden und die
daraus resultierenden Gefahren verstehen. Kinder dürfen nicht mit dem Gerät
spielen. Reinigung und Benutzer-Wartung dürfen nicht von Kindern ohne Beauf­sichtigung durchgeführt werden.

■ Benutzen Sie keine optischen Instrumente wie z.B. ein Vergrößerungsglas, um

direkt in den Lichtstrahl zu schauen. Es besteht die Gefahr von Augenschäden.

■ Kontrollieren Sie das Gerät vor der Verwendung auf äußere sichtbare Schäden.

Nehmen Sie ein beschädigtes Gerät nicht in Betrieb. Es besteht Stromschlaggefahr.

■ Lassen Sie Reparaturen am Gerät nur von autorisierten Fachbetrieben oder dem

Kundenservice durchführen. Durch unsachgemäße Reparaturen können erhebliche
Gefahren für den Benutzer entstehen. Zudem erlischt der Garantieanspruch.

■ Verwenden Sie nur das mitgelieferte Steckernetzteil oder den mitgelieferten

KFZ-Adapter, um den Akku-Handstrahler zu laden.

■ Das Steckernetzteil darf ausschließlich an eine vorschriftsmäßig installierte

Netzsteckdose angeschlossen werden.

■ Die Netzsteckdose muss leicht zugänglich sein, so dass das Steckernetzteil im

Notfall leicht abgezogen werden kann.

■ Lassen Sie das Steckernetzteil und den KFZ-Adapter nicht mit Flüssigkeiten in

Berührung kommen.

■ Das Steckernetzteil und der KFZ-Adapter dürfen nicht im Freien verwendet

werden, sondern nur in geschlossenen und trockenen Räumen.

■ Der KFZ-Adapter darf nur an den KFZ-Zigarettenanzünder bzw. Bordnetzsteck-

dose mit 12 V angeschlossen werden.

■ Schließen Sie immer zuerst den Akku-Handstrahler an das Steckernetzteil bzw.

an den KFZ-Adapter an, stecken Sie erst dann das Steckernetzteil /den KFZ­Adapter in die Stromversorgung.

■ Bei Beschädigung des Steckernetzteils / des KFZ-Adapters lassen Sie dieses

von autorisiertem Fachpersonal oder dem Kundenservice austauschen, um
Gefährdungen zu vermeiden.

■ Benutzen Sie das Steckernetzteil / den KFZ-Adapter niemals mit einer

beschädigten Anschlussleitung. Es besteht Stromschlaggefahr.

■ Decken Sie nie den Refl ektor während des Betriebs ab. Es besteht Überhitzungs-

gefahr.

■ Halten Sie ausreichend Abstand zur beleuchteten Fläche

(mindestens 0,5 m), da sonst durch die Wärmeentwicklung
Brandgefahr besteht.

■ Betreiben Sie das Gerät nie ohne Schutzscheibe.

■ Eine zerbrochene Schutzscheibe muss vor der weiteren

Benutzung ersetzt werden. Es besteht Verletzungsgefahr.

Entsorgung der Verpackung

Die Verpackung schützt das Gerät vor Transportschäden. Die Verpackungs­materialien sind nach umweltverträglichen und entsorgungstechnischen Gesichts­punkten ausgewählt und deshalb recyclebar.

Die Rückführung der Verpackung in den Materialkreislauf spart Rohstoff e und
verringert das Abfallaufkommen. Entsorgen Sie nicht mehr benötigte Verpackungs­materialien gemäß den örtlich geltenden Vorschriften.

Heben Sie wenn möglich die Originalverpackung während der Garantiezeit

Bedienung und Betrieb

In diesem Kapitel erhalten Sie wichtige Hinweise zur Bedienung und zum Betrieb
des Gerätes.

Laden des Akkus

Das Gerät ist mit einem wartungsarmen und auslaufsicheren Blei-Gel Akku
ausgestattet. Beachten Sie für eine optimale Lebensdauer Ihres Akkus folgende
Hinweise:

■ Laden Sie vor der ersten Verwendung den Akku 24 Stunden mit dem im

Lieferumfang enthaltenen Steckernetzteil

■ Vermeiden Sie eine Tiefentladung des Akkus. Schalten Sie deshalb das

Gerät bei nachlassender Helligkeit aus und laden Sie den Akku wieder auf.
Betreiben Sie das Gerät nicht unbeaufsichtigt.

■ Lagern Sie das Gerät nicht unaufgeladen, sondern laden Sie den Akku nach

der Benutzung wieder auf. Die Lagerung im entladenen Zustand schadet
dem Akku.

■ Akkus entladen sich bei längerer Lagerung. Wenn das Gerät längere Zeit

nicht verwendet wird, laden Sie den Akku alle 3 Monate wieder auf.

♦ Schalten Sie den Akku-Handstrahler vollständig aus (Ein-/Ausschalter 6 +

in Position „0“).

♦ Schließen Sie den Niedervoltstecker des Steckernetzteils 15/ KFZ-Adapters

an die Ladebuchse 12 des Akku-Handscheinwerfers an.

♦ Stecken Sie das Steckernetzteil 15 in eine Netzsteckdose bzw. den KFZ-

Adapter 14 in den Zigarettenanzünder/Bordnetzsteckdose eines KFZs.

♦ Der Ladevorgang beginnt und die rote Ladezustandsanzeige 11

leuchtet auf. Ist der Akku voll geladen leuchtet zusätzlich die grüne Ladezu­standsanzeige

HINWEIS

Die Ladezeit beträgt ca. 15 Stunden, kann sich jedoch bei einem ganz

entladenem Akku um ca. 1-2 Stunden verlängern.

► Bedenken Sie, dass während des Ladens mittels KFZ-Adapter der Fahr-

zeugbatterie Energie entzogen wird. Laden Sie daher das Gerät wenn
möglich nur bei laufendem Motor, damit der Bereitschaftszustand der
Fahrzeugbatterie erhalten bleibt.

Ein- und Ausschalten / Betriebsart wählen

Das Gerät verfügt über 4 Betriebsarten (Halogen-, LED-Betrieb, LED-Raumlicht und
LED-Blinklicht), die mittels der Ein-/Ausschalter 6 + 7 eingestellt werden können.

♦ Schalten Sie den Ein-/Ausschalter 6 in die Position „I“, um das LED-Raum-

licht einzuschalten.

♦ Schalten Sie den Ein-/Ausschalter 6 in die Position „II“, um das

LED-Blinklicht einzuschalten.

♦ Schalten Sie den Ein-/Ausschalter 6 in die Position „0“, um das LED-Raum-

licht bzw. das LED-Blinklicht auszuschalten.

♦ Schalten Sie den Ein-/Ausschalter 7 in die Position „I“, um den Halogen-

Scheinwerfer einzuschalten.

♦ Schalten Sie den Ein-/Ausschalter 7 in die Position „II“, um den LED-Schein-

werfer einzuschalten.

♦ Schalten Sie den Ein-/Ausschalter 7 in die Position „0“, um den Halogen-

bzw. den LED-Scheinwerfer auszuschalten.

Verstellen des Tragegriff s und des Ständers

Sie haben die Möglichkeit den Tragegriff 4 in die Pistolenposition oder in die
Laternenposition zu verstellen.

♦ Drücken Sie hierzu den Knopf 3 am Tragegriff 4 und drehen Sie dabei

den Tragegriff 4 in die obere oder untere Position, bis er einrastet.
Der Pistolenposition dient dazu, weit entfernte Objekte zu beleuchten;
die Laternenposition ist zum Suchen gut geeignet.

Des Weiteren haben Sie die Möglichkeit, den Akku-Handstrahler mittels des

verstellbaren Ständers

♦ Ziehen Sie den Ständer 8 in eine der 5 Einrastpositionen und stellen Sie

♦ Lösen Sie den Ring des Scheinwerfers , indem Sie ihn ein Stück im Uhrzeiger-

sinn drehen und nehmen Sie ihn vom Gerät ab.

♦ Entfernen Sie das Kabel und die Halteklammer von der Halterung .
♦ Nehmen Sie das Leuchtmittel aus der Halterung und lösen Sie vorsichtig

die Steckverbindung des Anschlusskabels.

♦ Setzen Sie ein neues Leuchtmittel des gleichen Typs (siehe Technische Daten)

in die Halterung und verbinden Sie das Anschlusskabel mit der Steckver­bindung .

♦ Sichern Sie das Leuchtmittel mit der Halteklammer und befestigen Sie

wieder das Kabel mit der Schraube und der Mutter an der Halterung .

♦ Setzen Sie den Ring des Scheinwerfers so auf das Gerät, dass die Arretierun-

gen des Ringes in die Aussparungen des Gehäuses greifen. Verriegeln Sie den
Ring, indem Sie ihn ein Stück gegen den Uhrzeigersinn drehen.

► Ziehen Sie das Steckernetzteil 15 aus der Steckdose bzw. den KFZ-Adap-

ter 14 aus dem Zigarettenanzünder, bevor Sie mit der Reinigung beginnen.
