INTENDED USE — The 4" Wafer-Thin LED recessed downlight with remote driver box combines high
quality light output and efficiency while eliminating the pot light housing for competitive affordability. This
innovati ve wafer-slim Type IC desig n allows easy inst allation for new con struction o r remodel from b elow
the ceiling without the requirement of a pot light housing. The LED module maintains at least 70% light
output f or 36,000 hou rs. These L ED Wafer downlig hts are inten ded for clos ets, att ics, hallway s, bathrooms ,
kitchens, basements, soffits, entry ways, porches, garages, stairwells, corridors, nursing/retirement homes,
condos, elevators, apartments, and any other small areas.
CONSTRUCTION — IC rate d driver and fix ture - approve d for direct c ontact wit h insulation. Alu minum die
cast outer frame. Durable, powder coat paint to prevent rust. Round fixture with integral edge-lit LED's.
Plenum rated cable connector to connect from module to remote driver box. Isolated driver integrated
inside ste el remote box with fo ur 7/8" knocko uts with slots fo r pryout. Suita ble for pulling wire s with the
12 cubic-inch wiri ng compar tment to accom modate up to (8) 14 gauge insu lated conduc tors, or (6) 12 gauge
insulated conductors; making the Wafer LED Downlights much easier to wire in 2in/2out (plus ground)
daisy-chain applications and contrac tor friendly.

INSTALLATION — Ideal for shallow ceiling plenum; no housing required. Steel spring clip for easy
installation. 4" cut out template is provided to ensure a correct sized hole is cut into ceiling for proper
installa tion of the trim . Size of hole shoul d not exceed 4 1/4 inches fo r this produc t. Suitable fo r installatio n
in t-grid an d drop ceiling applic ations. 3" plenum sp ace required for in stallation of the r emote driver box.
OPTICS — Wafer-Thin downlight edge-lit LED technology uses light guided plate to distribute light.
Polycarb onate lens prov ides even illu mination thr oughout the s pace. Utilize s 2700K, 3000 K, 3500K, 40 00K,
and 5000 K color temperatur e LEDs.
ELECTRICAL — Connect directly to 120V power supply via provided UL recognized driver. High efficient
driver wi th power fac tor > 0.9. Ambient op erating tem peratur e: -40°F (- 40°C) to +104°F (+40° C). Dimming
down to 10% (See p age 2 for recom mended dimm ers). Standard inp ut wattag e is 9.6W, 70 lumens per watt .
Replaces 50W incandescent.
