FEATURES & SPECIFICATIONS
INTENDED USE — The 6" Wafer-Thin LED recessed downlight with remote driver box combines high
quality light output and efficiency while eliminating the pot light housing for competitive affordability. This
innovati ve wafer-slim Type IC desig n allows easy inst allation for new con struction o r remodel from b elow
the ceiling without the requirement of a pot light housing. The LED module maintains at least 70% light
output f or 36,000 hou rs. These L ED Wafer downlig hts are inten ded for clos ets, att ics, hallway s, bathrooms ,
kitchens, basements, soffits, entry ways, porches, garages, stairwells, corridors, nursing/retirement homes,
condos, elevators, apartments, and any other small areas.
CONSTRUCTION — Ideal for shallow ceiling plenum since a pot light housing is NOT required. IC rated
driver and fixture - approved for direc t contact with insulation. Aluminum die cast outer frame. Durable,
powder coat paint to prevent rust. Round fixture with integral edge-lit LED's. Steel spring clip for easy
installation. Plenum rated cable connector to connect from module to remote driver box. Isolated driver
integrat ed inside stee l remote box with f our 7/8" knockouts w ith slots for p ryout. Sui table for pulli ng wires
with the 12 cubic-inch wiring compartment to accommodate up to (8) 14 gauge insulated conductors, or
(6) 12 gauge insulated co nductors; m aking the Wafer LED D ownlights muc h easier to wire in 2in /2out (plus
ground) daisy-chain applications and contrac tor friendly.
PATENT PENDING.
INSTALLATION — Ideal for shallow ceiling plenum; no housing required. Steel spring clip for easy
installation. 6" cut out template is provided to ensure a correct sized hole is cut into ceiling for proper
installa tion of the tri m. Size of hole shou ld not exceed 6 1/4 inches f or this produ ct. Suitab le for install ation
in t-grid an d drop ceiling applic ations. 2" plenum sp ace required for i nstallation of th e remote driver box.
OPTICS — Wafer-Thin downlight edge-lit LED technology uses light guided plate to distribute light.
Polycarb onate lens pr ovides even il lumination t hroughou t the space. Uti lized 2700K, 30 00K, 3500 K, 4000 K,
and 5000 K color temperatur e LEDs.
ELECTRICAL — Connect directly to 120V power supply via provided UL recognized driver. High efficient
driver wi th power fac tor > 0.9. Ambient op erating tem peratur e: -40°F (- 40°C) to +104°F (+40° C). Dimming
down to 10% (See p age 2 for recomm ended dimmer s). Standard input wa ttage is 13W, 79 lumens per wa tt.
Replaces 75W in candescent for 8 65 lumens and 100W incan descent for 1020 lumens .
LISTINGS — CSA certified to US and Canadian safety standards. ENERGY STAR® certified product. Wet
locatio n. Air Tight certi fied in accordance wi th ASTM E283-2004. NOM Cer tified.
