Y
our auxiliary tender is equipped with a
magnetic coupler at the front of the tender which can be operated using a Lionel
remote-control track section, available separately. Additionally, by coupling a piece of
rolling stock with a magnetic coupler to the
tender’s rear ElectroCoupler, you can also
uncouple at the rear of the tender by using
the remote control track section. Place the
“disc” of the tender’s front coupler or the
“disc” of the rolling stock’s coupler over the
center coil of the remote control track section
and press UNCOUPLE on the controller. The
magnetic field pulls the disc downward and
the coupler opens.
The ElectroCoupler will NOT open
manually or by using a remote-
control track section.
