Move ‘em out!
• Get your Girl’s Set moving. Press the DIR/direction control button on your
CAB-1 remote or Lionel transformer. This sequences the Lionel reverse unit to the
next operating state.
• Adjust track voltage until your Girl’s Set moves at your desired
speed. To increase speed, increase track voltage. To decrease speed, reduce voltage. To stop the locomotive, turn-off track power.
• See page 5 for information on locking your Girl’s Set in a single
operating state.
Place your Girl’s Set on Lionel or Lionel-compatible
O gauge track.
• Attach the drawbar as illustrated in Figure 1 below.

Power up your Girl’s Set locomotive with your transformer.
• Your Girl’s Set locomotive is designed to operate on 8-18 volts
alternating current. Virtually all Lionel and Lionel-compatible alternating-
current transformers are suitable.
• Do not power your Girl’s Set locomotive with direct current (DC).
Damage to sensitive electronic components may occur.
To prevent damage to the smoke unit, be sure to add 4-8 drops of
smoke fluid to your locomotive’s stack before you power it up.
