potbelly stove inside this deserted freight depot have ignited a fire. See smoke pour from the

cracks and windows, and flames flicker on the rooftop. A great smoky addition to your layout.

Wiring your Burning Hobo Depot

Y

our Burning Hobo Depot operates best at 11-16 volts (AC). You may choose to power

this accessory with a separate accessory power supply or through track power with a
Lionel Lockon (available separately, 6-62900) or a FasTrack Accessory Power Wire (available
separately,
6-12053). Because the track receives higher voltages on Command layouts, use track power
only on conventional (non-Command) layouts. To make the proper connections, the ends of
the wires must be stripped back 1/8” to 1/4”.

Only an adult should perform this task. We recommend using a pair of wire
strippers. Always use care when stripping wires.

Simply connect the bare ends of the wires from the power supply or track to the thumbscrew
terminals on the side of the accessory. Loosen the thumbscrew, insert the bare end of the wire
into the hole in the post, and tighten the screw to secure the connection.

Do not power the Burning Hobo Depot with more than 16 volts. Damage to the
accessory may occur.
