Disconnect the modem end of the RJ-45 Ethernet connection to your PC. Connect this same
RJ-45 Ethernet cable to the LAN port on the back of your Linksys 2100 ATA/Router.
Plug the RJ-45 Ethernet cable from your DSL/Cable Modem into the WAN port on the back
of the Linksys 2100 ATA/Router. Connect your telephone to the port marked “PHONE 1” on
the rear of the Linksys 2100. Note: Optional second line requires additional service plan.
Connect the small round part of the enclosed power cable into the Power Connection of the ATA.
Plug the Power Supply into a wall outlet. Wait approximately 20 seconds for the Network LED
to stop ashing. Once it stops ashing, pick up the telephone. The Network LED should light up
when the phone is taken o hook, and you should have dial tone.
Place a test call by dialing any phone number. Your Network LED should be lit. If you are able
to complete your call, you have successfully installed your ATA device and service. If you get any
other result, please visit our website for additional support information.
