The LINK 1170/1171 DigiFlex serial digital (SDI)
video distribution amplifier restores the incoming
signal to its proper amplitude. The signal is
reshaped with automatic equalization, re-sliced
and DC restored. Eight outputs are provided on a
removable rear cell. A module fault LED on the
front edge of the module indicates that the input
signal level is below a pre-set threshold. This
threshold may be adjusted to suit the users needs.
A second module fault LED is located on the rear
cell and is therefore visible from the back of the
equipment rack.
A rear I/O module must be selected for the specific
front signal module. The signal module and rear
I/O module, with the flexibility of the frame, place
virtually no limits on the versatility of the DigiFlex
1000 system.

Mounting Frame Options
The 1170 and 1171 accepts composite 143 Mb/s
and 177Mb/s, component 270Mb/s, and 16:9
aspect ratio 360Mb/s standards. The module is
transparent to the incoming signal data rate. The
1171 output level can be user adjusted between
600mV and 1100 mV. The 1170 has a fixed output
level of 800mV.
The 1000 series DigiFlex modules are compact
designs that allow eleven modules to mount in the
1000 frame or ten modules with a redundant
power supply. Any DigiFlex series modules will
operate in the 1000 frame in any configuration,
digital or analog, video or audio. The 1000 system
is well suited for small or large systems. The
product is backed by a ten-year warranty including
parts and labor.
