The LINK 1166 analog YUV to digital converter provides an accurate means of converting analog component video to component serial digital (SMPTE 259M). The 1167 converts RGB to SDI. The 1166/67 takes advantage of the latest integrated circuit technology to offer outstanding performance.
The three 10-bit analog to digital converters feature 2x over-sampling. Pre-filtering to full CCIR-601 specifications is handled by a high-performance analog filter followed by a decimating digital filter. The analog front-end features gain, offset, and frequency compensation.
Both 525/60 and 625/50 standards are supported, by onboard jumper selection.

All set-up adjustments are located on the front edge of the module. The rear cell, model 1066 is supplied with the 1166 converter. Rear cell 1067 is supplied with the 1167.
The DigiFlex 1166/67 is designed to reside in LINK's 1000-Series frame. This frame can house up to 10 modules of various types of modules with dual power supplies. Digital, analog, video and audio can be mixed in any combination to achieve system flexibility.
A complete line of digital and analog products are available for the DigiFlex 1000 series frame.. The 1000 frame can be supplied +12 VDC externally to either power supply location. A ten-year warranty applies to all Link products.
