Thank you for purchasing the LINDY Charger/Discharger. This
intelligent battery charger supports AA, AAA and 9V Ni-Cd and Ni­MH rechargeable batteries. It allows any combination of up to four
AA/AAA batteries to be charged. A 9V port is provided for charging
9V batteries. A discharge function eliminates the ‘memory-effect’ of
Ni-CD batteries (AA & AAA only).

Instructions:

 Plug the AC adapter into the charger; you will hear a tune play

for 5 seconds

 You can turn off the music by pressing button I or II during the

initial 5 seconds – this will disable the music feature until the
power is unplugged and plugged in again

 Place the batteries in the charger – each LED will glow red to

indicate the charging process

 You can discharge batteries by pressing the relevant channel

button – its LED will blink yellow

 Press the channel button again to return to charging mode
 When the batteries are discharged, the charger will

automatically switch into charging mode

 When charging is complete the LED turns from red to green and

the charger will play a tune! Switch off the music by pressing
button I or II

 Charging of 9V batteries takes up to 14 hours to complete
 If a battery is dead or shorted the LED will glow yellow, an

alarm will sound and the charging process will stop.

LED Indicators:

YELLOW Charger alarm light

LEFT/RIGHT GREEN Both batteries in the left/right channels are charged

LEFT/RIGHT RED FLASHING The first battery in the left/right channel is charged

LEFT/RIGHT GREEN FLASHING The second battery in the left/right channel is charged

Caution:

 It is normal for this unit to get warm when in use
 For use with Ni-MH and NI-Cd batteries only! DO NOT attempt

to charge any other battery types

 If a non-rechargeable or dry cell battery is installed a red LED

will flash four times and the charging process will stop.

 Please keep this charger out of the reach of children
 Do not expose the unit to rain or moisture
 Do not use in a confined space
 Keep the contacts clean
 Do not dismantle the charger

Herzlichen Glückwunsch zum Kauf Ihres LINDY Ladegerätes. Dieses
Ladegerät kann für NiCD- und NiMH-Akkumulatoren der Typen AA,
AAA und 9V-Block verwendet werden. Es ermöglicht das Laden jede
Kombination von bis zu vier AA- oder AAA-Akkus. Zum Lader von
9V-Blockakkus steht ein 9V-Anschlußss zur Verfügung. Die
Entladefunktion dient der Minimierung des Memoryeffektes bei Ni­Cd-Akkus (nur für die Größen AA/AAA)

Anleitung:

• Verbinden Sie das Ladegerät mit dem Netzteil, sie hören nun
eine kurze Melodie, diese kann durch Drücken einer der
beiden Tasten I oder II abgestellt werden.

• Setzen Sie die Akkus ind das Ladegerät ein, die jeweilige
LED leuchtet nun rot und zeigt so den Ladevorgang an.

• Zum Umschalten eines Kanales in den Entlademodus
drücken Sie die jewilige Taste I oder II. Die zugehörige LED
blinkt nun gelb. Zum Zurückschalten in den Lademodus
muss die Taste nochmals gedrückt werden.

• Wenn der Entladevorgang abgeschlossen ist, schaltet das
Gerät den Kanal automatisch in den Lademodus um.

• Wenn der Ladevorgang abgeschlossen ist, leuchtet die LED
grün und das Gerät spiel teine kurze Melodie (kann durch
Drücken einer de beiden Tasten I oder II abgestellt werden)

• Das Laden von 9V-Blockakkumulatoren dauert bis zu 14h.

• Wenn ein Akku defekt oder kurzgeschlossen ist, leuchtet die

jeweilige LED dauerhaft, ein Alarmton wird erzeugt und der
Ladevorgang wird abgebrochen.

Bedeutung der LED-Anzeige:

Gelb Alarm, Akku defekt oder kurzgeschlossen

Rot Ladevorgang läuft

Gelb blinkend Entladevorgang läuft

Links/Rechts grün Beide Akkus in linken/rechten Kanal sind geladen

Links/Rechts rot blinkend Akku Nr. 1 im linken/rechten Kanal ist geladen

Links/Rechts grün blinkend Akku Nr. 2 im linke/rechten Kanal ist geladen

Achtung:

 Das Gerät wird sich im Betrieb leicht erwärmen, dies ist normal.
 Nur zur Verwendung mit Ni-MH- oder NiCd-Akkus! Versuchen Sie

nicht, andere Akkutypen mit dem Gerät zu laden

 Wenn eine Primärbatterie (nicht wiederaufladbar) in das Gerät

eingesetzt wird, blinkt die LED vier Mal rot, anschliessend wird der
Ladevorgang sofort beendet

 Bitte bewahren Sie das Gerät außerhalb der Reichweite von

Kindern auf.

 Setzen Sie es nicht der Nässe oder Feuchtigkeit aus und

betreiben Sie es nicht in engen, geschlossenen Fächern
Schubladen etc. (Wärmeentwicklung)

 Halten Sie die Kontakte sauber und öffnen Sie das Gehäuse des

Gerätes nicht

Merci d’avoir acheté le Chargeur/Déchargeur de piles LINDY.
Ce chargeur de piles intelligent supporte les piles rechargeables AA,
AAA et 9V Ni-Cd et Ni-MH. Il permet de charger n’importe quelle
combinaison de piles avec jusqu’à 4 piles AA/AAA simultanément
Un port 9V est intégré pour charger des piles 9V. Une fonction de
décharge élimine l’effet de mémoire des piles Ni-CD (AA & AAA).

Instructions:

 Connectez l’adaptateur d’alimentation dans le chargeur, vous

entendrez une musique pendant à peu près 5 secondes

 Vous pouvez couper la musique en appuyant sur le bouton I ou

II pendant ces 5 secondes – cela va couper la fonction musicale
jusqu’à ce que le chargeur soit à nouveau déconnecté du
secteur

 Placez les piles dans le chargeur – chaque LED va s’allumer en

rouge pour indiquer le processus de chargement

 Vous pouvez décharger les piles en appuyant sur le bouton

correspondent à la paire de piles, la LED deviendra jaune

 Appuyez sur le bouton correspondent au canal pour retourner

en mode charge

 Lorsque les piles sont déchargées, le chargeur passe

automatiquement en mode charge

 Lorsque la charge est complète les LEDs changent ru rouge au

vert et le chargeur jouera une musique ! Vous pouvez couper la
musique en appuyant sur I ou II

 La charge de piles 9V peut prendre jusqu’à 14 heures
 Si une pile est défectueuse, la LED va s’allumer en jaune, une

alarme retentit, et la charge s’arrête.

VERT GAUCHE/DROITE Les deux paires de piles dans G/D sont chargées

Attention:

 Il est normal que le produit chauffe en utilisation
 Utilisez seulement des piles rechargeables Ni-MH et NI-Cd !

N’essayez pas de charger d’autres types de piles

 Si une pile non rechargeable ou usée est insérée, la LED de

charge clignotera en rouge 4 fois et la charge s’arrêtera.

 Laissez ce chargeur hors de la portée des enfants
 N’exposez pas le produit à l’humidité
 N’utilisez pas le produit dans un espace fermé
 Gardez les contacts propres

Grazie per aver acquistato il Carica/Scarica Batterie LINDY. Questo
carica batterie intelligente supporta batterie ricaricabili nei formati AA,
AAA e 9V Ni-CD e Ni-MH. Permette di caricare in qualsiasi
combinazione fino a quattro batterie AA/AAA. E’ inoltre presente un
apposita sede per caricare batterie a 9V. E’ infine integrata una
funzione di scarica per eliminare l’”effetto memoria” delle batterie Ni­CD (solo AA & AAA)

Istruzioni:

 Collegate l’alimentatore al caricatore e alla presa di corrente;

sentirete un breve segnale musicale per 5 secondi.

 Potete eliminare la musica premendo il tasto I o II durante i primi

5 secondi. – questa azione disabiliterà l’emissione del segnale
musicale fino a quando l’adattatore non verrà disconnesso e
riconesso alla presa di corrente.

 Inserite le batterie nel caricatore – il LED corrispondente

diventerà rosso per segnalare che la ricarica è in corso

 Potete scaricare la batteria premendo il pulsante relativo al

canale in uso – il LED diventerà giallo lampeggiante.

 Premete di nuovo il pulsante del canale per tornare in modalità di

ricarica.

 Quando le batterie saranno completamente scariche il caricatore

commuterà automaticamente in modalità di ricarica.

 Quando la ricarica sarà completa il LED passerà da rosso a

verde e verrà emesso un segnale musicale. La musica può
essere interrotta premendo il pulsante I o II.

 La ricarica di una batteria 9V dura circa 14 ore.
 Se la batteria è consumata o non più caricabile il LED diventerà

giallo,verrà emesso un allarme sonoro e il processo di carica
verrà interrotto.

Indicatori LED:

GIALLO Caricatore in stato di allarme (batteria non caricabile)

ROSSO Ricarica in corso

GIALLO LAMPEGGIANTE Scarica della batteria in corso

SINISTRA/DESTRA VERDE Tutte le batterie nei canali sinistro/destro sono cariche

SINISTRA/DESTRA ROSSO La prima batteria nel canale sinistro/destro è carica

SINISTRA/DESTRA VERDE

La seconda batteria nel canale sinistro/destro è carica

Precauzioni d’uso:

 E’ normale che l’unità si riscaldi durante l’utilizzo
 Utilizzare solo con batterie Ni-MH e NI-Cd! NON provate a

ricaricare batterie differenti!

 Se una cella non ricaricabile o esausta è inserita nel caricatore

un LED rosso lampeggerà quattro volte e il processo di ricarica
verrà interrotto.

 Tenete il caricatore fuori dalla portata dei bambini.
 Non esponete l’unità alla pioggia o umidità
 Non utilizzare in spazi ristretti
 Mantenete i contatti puliti
 Non smontate il caricatore.
