Overview English
The LINDY USB 3.0 HDD Docking & Clone Station can be used as
both a dual HDD SATA docking station and a HDD cloning station.
The HDD Cloning function should be used standalone and creates a bit
by bit clone of the source HDD onto the target HDD.

• Accepts 1.8/2.5/3.5” HDD/SSDs with 22 pin SATA combo interface.
For Micro SATA please use LINDY adapter No. 33502.

Installation and Use English
• Connect the power supply
• If you want to clone HDDs, do not connect the Docking Station to
your computer
• For normal docking station operation connect the Docking Station to
your computer via USB 3.0 cable
• Insert the HDDs to the docking station and press the power switch
ON
• Wait until the drivers are loaded by the operating system – you
should then see the drives in the file manager program
• HDDs may need to be partitioned / formatted using your operating
system disk management utility before you can access them.
• Before unplugging HDDs make sure data transfer processes are
completed and that the activity light is not lit.
Using the CLONE function English
• Install the source and target HDDs into the appropriately labelled bay
A (Source) and B (Target)
• The target HDD must be of equal or larger capacity than the source
HDD
• Make sure target HDD is empty and not partitioned
• Press the power switch ON. The LED “R/W” will light up green.
• Press the CLONE button three times consecutively until 25% LED
starts to flash. Percent status changes as clone progresses. All 4
LEDs light up green once the clone process has ended. Do not
switch OFF or unplug the HDDs during the cloning process!

Die LINDY USB 3.0 HDD Docking & Clone Station kann sowohl als
Dual HDD Docking Station wie auch als Clone Station zum bitweisen
Kopieren (Klonen) von Festplatten verwendet werden. Zum Klonen sollte
die Docking Station nicht an einen Rechner angeschlossen sein.

• Schließen Sie das Netzteil an
• Wenn Sie Festplatten klonen wollen sollte die Docking Station nicht
an einen Rechner angeschlossen sein, siehe nächster Abschnitt
• Zum normalen Betrieb schließen Sie die Docking Station über das
USB 3.0 Kabel an
• Stecken Sie die Festplatten in die Docking Station ein und schalten
Sie die Docking Station am POWER Schalter ein
• Warten Sie bis das Betriebssystem die Treiber vollständig geladen
und die Laufwerke angemeldet hat – danach sollten Sie auf die
Laufwerke aus Ihrem Dateimanager zugreifen können
• HDDs müssen partitioniert bzw. formatiert sein, verwenden Sie
hierzu ggf. die Management Utilities Ihres Betriebssystems
• Bevor Sie Festplatten entfernen stellen Sie sicher, dass alle
Dateitransfers komplett abgeschlossen sind.
Die CLONE Funktion Deutsch
• Die Clone Funktion erzeugt 1:1 Kopien einer Festplatte
• Die Ziel-Festplatte muss leer und nicht partitioniert ein, außerdem
mindestens genauso groß oder größer als die Quelle
• Stecken Sie Quell- und Ziel-Festplatte in die mit A (für Quelle) und B
(für Ziel) bezeichneten Ports der Docking Station ein (nicht
verwechseln!)
• Schalten Sie die Docking Station am Einschalter ein. Die LED „R/W“
leuchtet grün.
• Drücken Sie den Clone Schalter dreimal nacheinander bis die LED
„25%“ aufleuchtet, dann beginnt der Cloneprozess. Sie können das
Fortschreiten des Cloneprozesses über die LED-Anzeige bis 100%
verfolgen.Sobald alle 4 LEDs grün aufleuchten ist der Clone-Prozess
beendet. Entfernen Sie die Festplatten zwischenzeitlich nicht!

La Docking & Clone Station USB 3.0 LINDY peut être utilisée aussi
bien en station d’accueil pour disques durs qu’en station de clonage.
La fonction de clonage pourra être utilisée en mode autonome, sans être
connecté à un ordinateur, et créera un clone bit à bit du disque dur
source vers le disque dur de destination.

Installation et utilisation Français
• Branchez l’alimentation
• Ne pas connecter la Docking Station à votre ordinateur si vous
voulez cloner des disques durs.
• Pour une utilisation en mode station d’accueil, connectez la Docking
Station à votre ordinateur à l’aide du câble USB 3.0 fourni.
• Insérez les disques durs dans la station d’accueil et appuyez sur le
bouton d’alimentation.
• Patientez jusqu’à ce que votre système d’exploitation ai installé les
pilotes, les disques seront ensuite visibles dans votre programme de
gestion de fichiers.
• Les disques durs auront peut-être besoin d’un partitionnement /
formatage, en utilisant l’utilitaire de gestion de disques de votre
système d’exploitation, pour être accessibles.
• Veuillez-vous assurer que le processus de transfert de données soit
terminé et que la LED d’indication d’activité soit éteinte avant
d’extraire les disques durs.
Fonction CLONE Français
• Installez le disque dur source et le disque de destination dans les
baies appropriées: A (Source) et B (Target)
• Le disque dur de destination (target) devra être de capacité égale ou
supérieure au disque source
• Assurez-vous que le disque dur de destination soit vierge et non
partitionné
• Appuyez sur le bouton d’alimention. La LED “R/W” s’allumera en
vert.

Appuyez sur le bouton CLONE trois fois de suite jusqu’à ce que la
LED 25% commence à clignoter. La progression du clonage pourra
être suivie grâce au LEDs d’état. Toutes les 4 LEDs seront allumées
en vert lorsque le clonage sera terminé. Ne pas couper l’alimentation
ou extraire les disques durs pendant le processus de clonage!

La Docking & Clone Station USB 3.0 LINDY può essere utilizzata sia
come lettore esterno per dischi SATA sia come Clone Station
La funzione di duplicazione (Cloning) va utilizzata con il prodotto
scollegato dal computer e permette di creare una copia perfetta (bit a bit)
del disco originale (source) sul disco di destinazione (Target).

• Connette 2 Hard Disk SATA HDD/SSD ad un computer utilizzando un
singolo connettore
• Accetta dischi rigidi o solidi da 1.8/2.5/3.5” con interfaccia SATA
combo da 22 pin. Per dischi con interfaccia Micro SATA vi preghiamo
di usare l’adattatore LINDY art.. 33502.

• Collegate l’alimentazione
• Se volete utilizzare la funzione di duplicazione (clone) non connettete
il prodotto al computer
• Per normali operazioni di lettura e scrittura collegato il dispositivo al
computer con il cavo USB 3.0 fornito a corredo
• Inserite i dischi nella docking station e premete il tasto di accessione
portandolo su ON
• Aspettate fino a quando i driver non saranno caricati ed avviati dal
sistema operativo; dopo ciò dovreste poter vedere i dischi nella lista
dei drive accessibili nella gestione risorse.
• I dischi, per poter essere accessibili, potrebbero dover essere
partizionati / formattati utilizzando l’apposito programma del vostro
sistema operativo.
•
Prima di rimuovere i dischi assicuratevi che non ci siano trasferimenti
dati in corso e che i led di attività del prodotto non siano accesi.
Utilizzo della funzione CLONE Italiano
• Installate i dischi nei rispettivi slot chiamati bay A (Source – Disco
sorgente) e B (Target – Disco di destinazione)
• Il disco di destinazione deve essere di dimensioni uguali o maggiori
di quello sorgente
• Assicuratevi che il disco di destinazione sia vuoto e non
partizionato
• Premete il pulsante di accessione ON. Il LED “R/W” si accenderà e
diventerà VERDE.
• Premete il tasto CLONE per tre volte di seguito fino a quando il LED
25% inizierà a lampeggiare. I LED di accenderanno al procedere del
processo di copia. Quando tutti i 4 LED saranno accesi fissi in verde
il processo sarà terminato. Non spegnete il dispositivo o estrate i
dischi durante il processo di copia!!

In 2006 the European Union introduced regulations (WEEE) for the collection and
recycling of all waste electrical and electronic equipment. It is no longer allowable to
simply throw away electrical and electronic equipment. Instead, these products must enter
the recycling process.
Each individual EU member state has implemented the WEEE regulations into national
law in slightly different ways. Please follow your national law when you want to dispose of
