Introduction

Thank you for purchasing from the Lindy HDMI 2.0 18G Splitter range. This product has been designed to
provide trouble free, reliable operation. It benefits from both a LINDY 2 year warranty and free lifetime
technical support. To ensure correct use, please read this manual carefully and retain it for future
reference.
The Lindy HDMI 2.0 18G Splitter range are compact, high quality solutions for distributing HDMI 2.0 18G
signals across multiple displays from one source device. With support for resolutions up to 4K 60Hz 4:4:4
8bit, this splitter is great for creating eye-catching digital signage in retail scenarios, showing high quality
video in different rooms in medical facilities or ensuring audiences do not miss any of the action in multi
display sports bars.

Installation

Please ensure all devices are switched off before connecting any source devices or displays. Once all
connections are made please switch on the devices in the following order: Displays, HDMI Splitter,
Source Device.
Connect a source device to the Input port of the HDMI splitter, then connect displays to the HDMI output
ports. Once all connections are made please connect the power supply and power on the splitter.

Operation

Power LED: This LED will illuminate blue when power is supplied to the splitter.
IN LED: This LED will illuminate blue when a source device is connected to the splitter
OUT LED: These LEDs will illuminate and indicate which HDMI output is connected to an active display
EDID COPY: When switched to COPY, the splitter will read and apply the EDID of the display connected
to HDMI Output 1, and send this EDID to all other outputs. If no display is connected to Output 1, the
splitter will take the next active Output ports EDID
EDID AUTO: When switched to AUTO, the splitter will apply the most suitable signal for all connected
displays.
HDMI IN: Connect a HDMI source device to the HDMI In port of the splitter.
HDMI OUT: Connect each HDMI display to each HDMI Out port of the splitter.

Installation

Stellen Sie sicher, dass alle Geräte ausgeschaltet sind, ehe Sie Quellgeräte oder Displays anschließen.
Wenn alle Geräte verbunden sind, schalten Sie diese bitte in folgender Reihenfolge ein: Displays, HDMI
Splitter, Quellgerät. Schließen Sie ein Quellgerät am Eingangsport des HDMI Splitters an und die
Displays an die Ausgangsports. Zum Schluss schließen Sie das Netzteil an und schalten den Splitter
ein.

Betrieb

Power LED: Diese LED leuchtet blau, wenn der Splitter mit Strom versorgt wird.
IN LED: Diese LED leuchtet blau, wenn ein Quellgerät mit dem Splitter verbunden wird.
OUT LED: Diese LEDs zeigen an, welcher HDMI-Ausgang mit einem aktiven Display verbunden ist.
EDID COPY: Wenn der Schalter auf “COPY” steht, verwendet der Splitter die voreingestellte EDID vom
Display am Ausgang 1 und sendet diese an alle anderen Ausgänge. Wenn kein Display mit Ausgang 1
verbunden ist, verwendet der Splitter die EDID des nächsten, aktiven Ausgangsports.
EDID AUTO: Wenn der Schalter auf “AUTO” steht, verwendet der Splitter das Signal, welches am
besten für alle angeschlossenen Dispalys passt.
HDMI In: Zum Anschluss eines Quellgeräts.
HDMI Out: Zum Anschluss der HDMI Displays

Installation

Assurez-vous que tous les appareils sont hors tension avant de réaliser les connexions des appareils.
Une fois les connexions faites, veuillez démarrer les appareils dans cet ordre: affichages, splitter HDMI,
appareil source.
Connectez la source au port Input du splitter HDMI, puis connectez les affichages aux ports HDMI
Output. Pour finir connectez l’alimentation et mettez le splitter sous tension.

Utilisation

Power LED: cette LED s’allume en bleu lorsque le splitter est alimenté.
IN LED: cette LED s’allume en bleu lorsqu’une source est connecté au splitter
OUT LED: ces LED s’allument et indiquent quelle sortie HDMI est connectée à un affichage actif
EDID COPY: lorsque commuter sur COPY, le splitter lit et applique l’EDID de l’écran connecté sur HDMI
Output 1, et envoi cet EDID sur toutes les autres sorties. Si aucun affichage n’est connecté sur Output 1,
le splitter prend l’EDID du prochain port de sortie actif

EDID AUTO: lorsque commuter sur AUTO, le splitter applique les signaux les plus adaptés pour tous les
affichages connectés.
HDMI IN: Connecte une source HDMI sur le port d’entrée du splitter.
HDMI OUT: Connecte un affichage sur chacun des ports de HDMI en sortie du splitter.

Installazione

Vi preghiamo di assicurarvi che tutti i dispositivi siano spenti prima di effettuare qualsiasi collegamento.

Una volta che tutte le connessioni sono state effettuate accendete i dispositivi in quest’ordine: Schermi,

Splitter HDMI, Sorgente.

Collegate la sorgente all’ingresso HDMI (Input) dello splitter e poi collegate gli schermi alle porte in
uscita (Output). Una volta collegate tutte le porte sarà possibile collegare anche l’alimentatore per poi

accendere lo switch.

Utilizzo

LED Power: si illumina in blu quando lo splitter è alimentato.
LED IN: si illumina quando una sorgente è connessa allo splitter
LED OUT: si illumina quando la corrispondente uscita è connessa ad uno schermo HDMI attivo
EDID COPY: Se questo switch è impostato su COPY, lo splitter userà il segnale EDID dello schermo
collegato alla porta 1 per tutte le porte. Se a questa porta non è collegato alcuno schermo utilizzerà
quella successiva e così via.
EDID AUTO: Se selezionate AUTO, lo splitter utilizzerà l’EDID più comune fra li schermi connessi.
HDMI In: Collegate qui la sorgente HDMI da distribuire
HDMI Out: Collegate gli schermi a ciascuna di queste porte HDMI
