Installation
1. Select a spare 3. 5“ bay and r emov e its front
cover bez el.
2. Place the 3. 5“ USB hub into the 3.5“ bay. Align
the 3.5“ USB hub with the screw holes and
secure the 3.5“ USB hub with two screws on each
side.
3. Select a spare computer power cable connec tor
(the same ty pe as used f or a 3.5” fl oppy disk
drive) and insert i t into the 3. 5” US B hub’s power
socket.
4. Route the USB cable (with A type c onnec tor) out
of the computer and att ac h the enclosed bracket
to the rear of the computer.
5. Connect the USB cable to the computer.
6. If you want t o place the 3.5“ USB hub in a spare
5.25” bay, pl ease use the 3.5” FDD to 5.25” Bay
with LINDY article num ber 40511.

Installation
1. Wählen Sie einen f r eien 3.5“ Schacht und entfernen Sie die F rontplatte.
2. Set z en S ie den 3.5“ USB Hub i n den S chacht ein,
richten Sie die Bohrungen am Gehäuse des Hub
aus und befestigen Sie den Hub mit 2 S chrauben
je Seite.
3. Suchen S ie einen f r eien Strom anschluß im PC
(gleicher Anschluß wie für 5.5“ Diskettenlaufwerk)
und schließen S ie diesen am Hub an.
4. Führ en S ie das USB-Kabel aus dem P C r üc k seitig heraus und befestigen Sie beiliegendes
Slotbl ech an der Rückseite des PC.
5. Für den E inbau in einen 5. 25“ Schacht verwenden Sie bit te den Einbaurahm en mit der LINDY
Artikelnumm er 40511.

Installation
1. Choisissez un empl ac ement 3.5” libre.
2. Placez l e Hub US B 3.5” dans l’emplacement.
Vissez ensuite fermement le Hub USB 3.5” dans
son emplacement.
3. Recherchez un câble d’aliment ation inter ne pour
floppy disponible et insérez le dans le connecteur
d’alimentation du Hub USB 3. 5”.
4. Connectez le câble venant du Hub US B 3.5” à
l’arrière de v otre ordinateur.
5. Conectez votre câble USB à l’ordinateur.
6. Si vous souhaitez placer le Hub USB 3.5” dans
un emplacement 5.25”, v euillez utilisez l’article
d’adaptation LINDY r éférence 40511.

Installazione
1. Selezionare uno slot da 3.5“ e ri muovere il
frontalino.
2. Inserire l’Hub USB 3.5“ nel vano da 3.5”. Allineare
l’Hub USB 3.5“ con i fori delle viti e fissate l’Hub
tramite le viti in dotazi one.
3. Selezionare un connettore alimentazione del
computer (dello stesso tipo che si utili z z a per i
floppy disk da 3.5”) ed inseri telo nel vano
alimentazione del l’ Hub USB 3.5”.
4. Estrarre il cav o US B ( c on c onnettore tipo A ) dal
computer e collegatelo alla staffa posteriore
presente sul PC.
5. Collegare il cavo USB al computer.
6. Se volete inserir e l`Hub USB 3.5“ USB in un vano
da 5.25”, uti lizzate i frame da 3.5” FDD a 5.25”
LINDY codice ar ticolo 40511.
