L’extender DVI Dual Link est utilisé pour étendre les signaux
DVI-D Dual Link sur de moyennes distances en utilisant des
câbles de haute qualité.

Note: pour atteindre des distances maximales, les câbles
LINDY DVI Dual Link doivent être utilisés !

Pour des résolutions jusqu’à 1920 x 1200 (Single Link), merci
d’utiliser notre extender DVI Single Link, N° Art. 32667, pour obtenir

les meilleurs résultats.

Caractéristiques

 Alimentation en courant via le câble DVI depuis la source,

l’extender DVI a une entrée pour une alimentation optionnelle en

5V DC.

 DVI-D Dual Link compatible jusqu’à 2560 x 1600
 Peut atteindre jusqu’à 45m de distance à 2560 x 1600, en

s’assurant que la source vidéo émette un signal stable, puissant
et de haute qualité. Des cartes graphiques d’entrée de gamme
n’émettent pas des signaux de bonne qualité, et de ce fait le
signal vidéo ne peut être étendu que jusqu’à 20m !

Installation et utilisation

 Utilisez des câbles LINDY DVI-D Dual Link, suivant les distances

maximales précisées ci-dessus

 Les distances actuelles dépendent de la qualité de la carte

graphique et de son signal de sortie; yous pouvez atteindre des
distances bien supérieures à celles précisées ci-dessus.

 La cascade d’extenders n’est pas possible, merci d’utiliser notre

extender DVI Fibre Optique pour des distances jusqu’à 500m.

Aide

Les longueurs et résolutions précisées ci-dessus ont été mesurées
avec les cartes graphiques pré-mentionnées et un écran Dell 30”, c e
qui représente les performances du produit.
Si vous rencontrez un problème, merci de connecter une alimentation
externe 5V DC, N° Art. 73812, puis allumez vos équipements.

Si cela n’aide pas, essayez alors avec des câbles plus courts, ou
réduisez la résolution à 800x600. Si l’image est correctement

affichée, la qualité du signal et de votre c arte graphique n’est pas

suffisante pour la distance avec laquelle vous avez commencé.
Augmentez la résolution et la longueur de câble, pas à pas, jusqu’à
atteindre le maximum possible supporté par votre carte graphique.

Per risoluzioni fino a 1920 x 1200 (single link) utilizzate il nostro
Extender DVI Single Link art. 32667 per ottenere risultati migliori.

Caratteristiche

 Alimentato direttamente dalla sorgente DVI. L'Extender ha anche

un ingresso opzionale per alimentazione a 5V DC

 Compatibile DVI-D Dual Link con risoluzioni fino a 2560 x 1600
 Rende possibile raggiungere i 45m di distanza a 2560x1600

utilizzando sorgenti che forniscano un segnale stabile e di alta
qualità. Molte schede grafiche Entry level non hanno queste
caratteristiche e non possono essere estese oltre i 20 m

Installazione ed Utilizzo

 Utilizzare cavi DVI-D Dual Link delle lunghezze suggerite sopra
 Le distanze raggiungibili dipendono dalla qualità specifica della

scheda grafica utilizzata: in base a questo parametro potreste
raggiungere distanze inferiori o superiori a quelle indicate.

 Non è supportata l’installazione in cascata di più Extender. Per

raggiungere distanze superiori potete utilizzare i nostri extender su
Fibra Ottica che consentono di raggiungere i 500m di distanza.

Risoluzione Problemi

Le risoluzioni e le distanze sopra riportate sono state testate con le

schede grafiche citate ed un Monitor Dell da 30” e sono s olo

rappresentative delle prestazioni di questo prodotto.
Nel caso riscontriate problemi di visualizzazione potete provare ad

alimentare l’extender con un alimentatore opzionale come l’art. 73812

effettuando un poi un riavvio di tutti i dispositivi per reinizializzare la
catena.

Se anche questo intervento non dovesse giovare ridurre la risoluzione
a 800x600: se in questa modalità il segnale viene trasmesso
correttamente significa che la qualità del segnale non è sufficiente,
non abbastanza stabile o troppo debole. Provate ad aumentare
gradualmente la risoluzione così come la lunghezza dei cavi per
identificare il limite di funzionamento della vostra scheda grafica.

Der DVI Dual Link Extender/Repeater wird zur Überbrückung
mittlerer Distanzen für DVI-D Dual Link Signale über hochwertige
DVI-Kabel eingesetzt.

HIWEIS: Um maximale Distanzen zu erreichen müssen
hochwertige Kabel eingesetzt werden!

Für Signale bis 1920x1200 (Single Link) erreichen Sie mit unseren
DVI Single Link Extendern, z.B. Art.-Nr. 32667 bessere Ergebnisse!

Eigenschaften

 Es können Distanzen bis 45m bei 2560x1600 erreicht werden,

vorausgesetzt die Signalquelle liefert ein stabiles, qualitativ
hochwertiges Signal. Bitte beachten Sie, dass verschiedene Entry­Level-Grafikkarten keine ausreichende Signalqualität liefern ­solche Signale können eventuell nur bis zu insgesamt 25m
verlängert werden!

Installation und Betrieb

 Verwenden Sie LINDY Dual Link Kabel in den o.g. Maximallängen
 Je nach der individuellen Qualität der Grafikkarte und ihres

Ausgangssignals können ebenso deutlich größere oder kleinere
Distanzen erreicht werden!

 Kaskadierung mehrerer Repeater wird nicht unterstützt,

verwenden Sie für größere Distanzen unsere DVI-Extender mit
Glasfaser!

Vorgehen bei Problemen

Die o.g. Längen und Auflösungen wurden mit den genannten Grafik­karten und einem Dell 30“ Monitor ermittelt. Sollten Sie Probleme
haben so schließen Sie zuerst ein optionales Netzteil 5V DC geregelt
an, z.B. Art.-Nr. 73812.

Versuchen Sie es mit kürzeren Anschlusskabeln oder senken Sie die
Auflösung auf 800x600. Wird dann ein Bild übertragen so ist wahr­scheinlich die eingespeiste Signalqualität und Leistung Ihrer Grafik­karte nicht ausreichend. Erhöhen Sie die Auflösung schrittweise sowie
die einzelnen Kabellängen Schritt für Schritt zu um zum Maximum zu
gelangen.

extenders can be used to extend DVI-D Dual Link signals over
medium distances using high quality cables.

Note: to achieve maximum distances high quality LINDY DVI
Dual Link cable must be used!

For signals up to 1920 x 1200 (Single Link) use our DVI Single Link
Extenders, e.g. No. 32667 to achieve better results!

Features

 Power supply via DVI cable from the signal source, the DVI

Extender has an optional input for 5V DC regulated

 DVI-D dual link compatible up to 2560 x 1600 input & output
 can reach distances up to 45 m at 2560 x 1600, assuming the

source provides a stable, high-quality signal. Please keep in mind
that various entry-level graphics cards no adequate signal quality
provide - such signals may be only up to a total of 25 m can be
extended!

Installation and operation

 Use LINDY Dual Link cables of the above mentioned maximum

lengths

 Depending on the individual quality of the graphics card and its

output signal you can reach distances also significantly larger or
smaller!

 Cascading of multiple Repeater is not supported, use our DVI

extender with optical fiber technology for larger distances!

Troubleshooting

The above mentioned lengths and resolutions have been measured
with the mentioned graphics cards and a Dell 30 "monitor.
Should you have any problems please connect an optional AC
adapter 5V DC regulated e. .g. No.73812. Eventually power cycle
and plug in and out to get a stable connection.

If it does not help give it a try with shorter cables, or reduce the
resolution to 800 x 600. Then, if an image is to be transferred the
signal quality and performance of your graphics card may not be
sufficient probably. Increase the resolution step by step as well as
the individual cable lengths step by step to reach to the maximum.
