Reconnecting your device
The effective range of Bluetooth Audio Receiver Pro is 10m (line of sight). If you hold or wear the source device or
cover the Bluetooth antenna, this distance will be shortened.
If you move out of range, or turn off the Bluetooth feature on your source device, the Bluetooth Audio Receiver Pro
will be automatically disconnected. In this situation the LED indicator light will go OFF, showing the connection
between the source device and the Bluetooth Audio Receiver Pro has been lost.
To reconnect, simply open the Bluetooth manager on your source device and tap on the “Music Receiver”, the
connection will be re-established automatically. You do not need to input a PIN when reconnecting.
Adding New & Additional devices
Although the Bluetooth Audio Receiver Pro can only play audio from one source device at a time, it is capable of
being paired with up to 8 source devices at one time.
If you want to use and switch between multiple source devices, follow these steps
1. End the existing Bluetooth connection with the initial connected source device
2. Once clear the Bluetooth Audio Receiver Pro will be free to connect with another source device
3. Follow the section “Pairing the Bluetooth Audio Receiver Pro” to connect a new source device
Troubleshooting
If you plan for the Bluetooth Audio Receiver Pro to be unused for extended periods of time it is advised
that you unplug its power supply and disconnect any external connections
1) To avoid a lost connection
o Keep your source devices in range of the Bluetooth Audio Receiver Pro, - 10m
o Make sure there is a clear line of sight between the Bluetooth Audio Receiver Pro and source device and
that there no obstructions in the way
o If the connection is lost for less than 15 seconds, it will automatically be re-established when your source
device comes in range and the LED indicator will turn on
o If the connection is lost for more than 15 seconds, you will need to reconnect the source device and
Bluetooth Audio Receiver Pro again. Please follow the “Reconnecting your device” section
2) If no audio plays from your connected speakers
o Make sure the Bluetooth Audio Receiver Pro is powered on – the indicator light should flash intermittently
o Make sure the audio cable or optical audio cable is correctly and firmly connected to Bluetooth Audio
Receiver Pro
o Make sure that the audio source selection of your amplifier matches your audio connection (analogue
audio or optical audio)
o Make sure the volume of the stereo is set to a comfortable listening level
o Make sure you are within range – 10m
o Make sure the Bluetooth function is active on your source device and you are not paired with other
Bluetooth devices
o Make sure you are playing the audio on your source device
